the sky- mod lists will always make for good video cause the shit is just so specific and weird that you have to do. unfortunately they got one of the lesser versions, in OG skyblock they actually do have missions like what Ryan has been reading with rewards that vary from actually helpful stuff like spawn eggs to loot bags that can literally give you almost any random shit(I once got a full stack of each color of carpet, my base looked fabulous)
if they do come back for some pc minecraft stuff I hope they do Captive Minecraft, which is a bit like skyfactory but you start on an actual world stuck in a 3x3 box and the only way to make it bigger is to complete the in game achievements.

I am fairly sure it has internal supports and scaffolding made of Iron, but the exterior is composed of large copper plates.

Here is a hint, any ore or chunk smelted in the smeltery is doubled. That is why it is used. Also you need an ingot cast to drain a single ingot.

The answer to "Why are there no animals showing up?" is "Because you keep fucking going over there." Leave it alone and they'll spawn, the reason the book specifies 25 blocks away is because that's the minimum distance from *any player* that passive mobs will spawn.
To be fair, that's kind of weird.
That's how it's always worked, that's how spawning in general works. That's why creepers never spawn right next to you, there's a minimum distance away from any player that they have a chance to spawn. The same applies to animals.
Yes, but to someone who doesn't know how to make a sword, it doesn't make sense.
They don't know how to make swords because they usually play on consoles where crafting is much simpler. The spawning mechanics there are the same, however. They've all been playing this game for over 5 years, you'd think they'd clue into a few things here and there.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people that gets angry when people play games terribly. It's just slightly annoying that they can't seem to grasp some simple mechanics that they've been in constant contact with for the better part of a decade, particularly Geoff, but that's a whole different story.

why won't they add more spouts on the smelter? it makes me sad everytime Jeremy breaks the basin because there's something in it he doesn't need. Just make more spouts!
I know right? I normally have 1 controller, 2 seared tanks, 6 spouts and then 3 normal seared bricks for the first layers of my smelters. With that setup you can store 8 buckets of lava and pour out 30 ingots (3 blocks and 3 ingots) at the same time. It also lets you make several tool parts at once.
Something I keep forgetting is that you can put cobblestone into the smelter and then pour out seared bricks into an ingot mold. It takes a lot of cobblestone but they aren't exactly running a shortage.
I'm so glad Jack is back. It's nice to have someone who builds wider walkways and puts up fences, everything is 100% safer and looks nicer too. I love Jack and Geoff's little farm.
It's fun watching Sky Factory again. When they were released after the second episode I would just read or be on my phone and look up every once in a while to see what was done. Now I'm actually watching

TIPS: you can upgrade the mesh of the sieve, auto sieve needs power, gravel, sand and dust give different items when seived (also gives different items with different mesh), look up different ways to make power for auto machines, make a 5x5 area of seives blocks then stand in the middle with gravel,sand or dust on hand, it will sieve 25 at a time
also running near sapling will make them grow. when morning comes go to mob spawn are so loot bags wont get wasted or picked up by mobs

The adventure to greatness in this series is amazing. They're not even in the part where they have electricity yet I can already see the awesome things they're going to be able to do when they get to that point. Loving this series, and am seriously excited to see them finish it for real.

the smeltery Jeremy's working on is used for making tinkers constructs weapons which I need stensals for and u can use it to melt something like a bucket into is core elements. a bucket into 3 iron or a minecart into 5 iron
It also turns the ore chunks into 2 ingots, as opposed to the 1 received from using a furnace.

Ah thank you for the update. I came down to check if there was a comment like this before I began listing out how to make it all work. Was about to type a paragraph or two of detailed instructions. It is really easy for people that use it a lot though- when I introduced it to my parents that sometimes get on Minecraft, they were flabbergasted.

Yep, my parents are pretty open minded- they grew up at the end of a lot of prejudices and the like. They are just hitting their forties this year so I got pretty lucky. They love video games.
What tinker's construct did they figure out?
The whole point of using the tinker's construct smelter is to pour the molten material into craftable molds (ie tool handles, pickaxe heads, sword heads, bindings to connect the handles and heads) to make better and repairable tools/weapons, just making it into bars is a huge waste of it's potential. Even more so you can make various alloys within the smelter such as Bronze (combining Copper and TIn), Manyullyn (combining Cobalt and Ardite), Alumite (combining Obsidian, Iron and Aluminum), Aluminum Brass (combining Aluminum and Copper), and finally Pig Iron (combining Iron or Emeralds with Blood).
Now to create the molds necessary to make the various parts you will need create a Casting Table which will allow you to make casts out of Aluminum Brass. Put a stone tool part (by crafting it in the Part Builder, which requres a material and a Stencil from the Stencil Table), into the casting table, and using a faucet pour Aluminum Brass into it, this will create a Cast of that tool part, allowing you to make various metal parts using your casting table and smeltery.
Is Geoff even still on sabbatical or has he just completely forgotten that he's having one?

@LetsPlay quick tip guys.... and this is seriously late but whatever, but you can use STICKS as an unlimited vein-mine tool. Use those to break down trees instantly.
ALSO the saplings give you more % for dirt blocks than leaf blocks do! (takes 10 leaf blocks, 8 or 9 saplings)
DOUBLE ALSO: vein mining doesn't work on compressed blocks.
TRIPLE ALSO: 25 normal sieves in a 5x5 box will sift 25 blocks at the same time. Make sure there's a wall around it (or at LEAST behind you) though, as the ore tends to fly when you collect it.
