MOSTAR by the bridge

This is the first part of my trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mostar's old town was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and no wonder, because it is one of the most beautifully preserved old towns in Byzantine style. The Old Bridge is of course the biggest attraction in the city, known especially for the famous Icarus jumping into the water, a tradition that dates back at least to the beginning of its existence in the 16th century.
The city also has a tragic recent history associated with the Balkan War. It is certainly one of the most interesting places to visit in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
