Watching this I think I have twigged to the real basic chemistry between these two .Scott as a Moir is supposed to be a better star skater than Tessa Virtue ,,,,,,,,but Tessa is a naturally talented skater and strong psychologically and intends to show him she senses she is just as good as he is if not better..Where as Scott is under pressure to perform for the Moir family ,to be outstandingly the best. Then Tessa begins to blossom into a beauty and I have never seen her falter on the ice.Yet Scott has made mistakes tripped and even fallen on the ice,Tessa never.Once he had a blood nose so physically he seems challenged on the ice as well.Where as Tessa just lives for the moment and loves every minute of their success .Often you will see Tessa's laughing amusement as she challenges him.It was this kind of tension they generated not infatuation. It seems Tessa was just one of many female skaters at that school but there was only one Scott Moir.Why else would his net worth be reported as around $118,000,000. and Tessa's barely $1,000.000?I rest my case.Great choreographers were responsible for the rest. Yes they undoubtedly did a great job.
At that time Scott was a better skater, although she was more artistic and expressive than him. Years later I consider that they were equal on both sides 😅
It's easy for people to misunderstand ice dancing because it's beautiful to watch... but it's actually a very male-dominated sport. And their calibre has never been equal. He has always been a stronger partner than her.
