In today's video we take a tour of the Toy and Train Fair which was held on Saturday 21st September 2024 at the new venue, the Matford Centre, near Exeter.
Delighted to have my friend Andy join me again as we discuss the fair, the new venue and what we ended up buying.
There were loads of toy dealers with something for everyone!

Always a guarantee of a good fair and great video with guest star Andy along for the ride! You guys provide the best running commentaries for these adventures. I might have picked up an Annual or two that I saw because I’m considering collecting some, but I haven’t checked overall pricing on them so who knows? I like that they include comic stories on the subject that are not usually available anywhere else. Anyway, another great Sunday morning coffee break with you guys at the fair! As always, thanks for this wonderful content! ❤
Thanks so much Glen. Collecting annuals is great fun and I've a fair few in my collection. The three sixties James Bond ones are excellent btw. Generally, they aren't too expensive but you have that darn postage to deal with. Love going to the shows, even if I don't buy anything!
Nice!! I go to one at Gateshead Stadium up here in the north east. Every couple of months or so. Have the same sort of stuff as at this event. And I have the two Kylie Minoigue figures as shown at 5:50 or so!!

Hi Jules love your video I made it to this fair around 11am after driving from cornwall where I had been on holiday as I live near the nec iin birminghamt is great to go somewhere and see other dealers thanks for posting. I managed to pick up a few items from Watford a great fair.

I've got 2 of the Matchbox BP exploration vehicles: shocked to see one on sale for £45.
A friend had FAB 1 Dinky even more shocked to see that @ £300
That's what happens over time, scarcity and inflation coupled with demand 🙂

Hi, Jules, not sure if you were aware, but Ogwell Vintage Toys shop in Newton Abbot, is now closed up, was there yesterday, and a note on the window, basically says closed,due to retirement, not sure if you would like somehow to let your viewers know,?..I managed to find a couple of Boxed Petrol Pump Budgie toys I have been after for years at Matford, so very happy, keep up the good work with the great videos

I've gone back and had a look, sorry, I don't know. If they have any signage I always film it if possible.
