I just bought two of these for my wife and myself! When we goin fishing!? Spot on review Nick. We shopped around and the Yellowfin 100 was the best deal. Keep making great videos!
Nick, I'm in the process of buying this Kayak and your video was really great. Thanks so much for your time and effort my friend. This Kayak seems to be "just the ticket" for my shallow water fishing when I don't want to take out my big Bass Boat. I'm 71 years old and have been fishing all my life and still get "very" excited every time I go! By the way, this is my 1st Kayak...
Had my Yellowfins for a year now. Still love them! This was the best review (and one of the few) that i found a year ago and it's right on the money. Well done Hydrayak!
I understand exactly what you are saying, I've had crap and the fancy stuff but now I'm ready for the yellowfin 100 again. I'll definitely add the graph but other than that I'm going back to keeping it simple. Unreal how much crap I carried in the bigger yaks that seldom ever get used in a days fishing. I'm excited about going back to simplicity.
Great review. This seals the deal for me. I'll be getting one in the next few months. Will be fishing inshore, bays and grass flats. Thanks for the video!!
Bout time! This full review was worth the weight. Awesome little boat aint it. Funny thing is I have been researchin the Big Tuna haha. But ill always love my Yellowfin. This thing is a beast on that skinny water! Great review. Whats your transducer set up on the Fin?
Yeah. It's do-able but does not handle great. The waves can swing the bow and make it tough to paddle in a straight line. This kayak is best for backwaters, ponds and lazy rivers.
I've been leaning pretty strongly towards the Yellowfin 100 after a few weeks of research and checking out local outfitters. While you've been using it for river fishing, would you recommend it as a lake (sub 15hp limited lakes mind you) yak?
I'm 6'2", 230lbs. This kayak is a little undersized for someone of my size. But it paddles fine for me. A Yellowfin 120 is a more ideal kayak for someone my size.
I picked up some cheap Canany's a few years back. Still buying GoPro's though. The sessions are really nice because they are waterproof and get good sound.

Thanks! I'm on the Chattahoochee River all the time come on out!

Sorry for the late reply? Did you pick one up? Like it?

Got it in November and absolutely LOVE it!! Its exactly what I wanted, price, seat, stability and weight ! Thanks again for the great review!!
Sorry for the late response. That's awesome! Glad you dig it. Where are you fishing?
Great video. I have a Skipjack 90, but thinking about adding a Yellowfin.
i seen a guy maybe 6ft 230 paddle out in rough surf in the skip 90, so can go offshore, good kayaks and great quality, molded in inserts are nice.
I found your review very helpful. I am in the market for a new yak for next season.

*Wait haha. Had fishin on the Brain.
THIS WAS A GREAT REVIEW!! I HAVE HEARD THAT THIS WAS A GOOD BUY!
Awesome looking kayak! Thanks for the review
Did you put a Lil 12v battery and wire it to your fish finder? I'm thinking of getting this kayak and I like your set up.
Awesome review on you're kayak thanks 👍👍👍👍👍
We are about the same size, can you stand in this and fish? Or, do you really need a bigger boat like the SeaGhost 110 or 130?
Have you taken this to salt water? How does it handle 1ft or 2ft waves?
Yeah. It's do-able but does not handle great. The waves can swing the bow and make it tough to paddle in a straight line. This kayak is best for backwaters, ponds and lazy rivers.
Nice fishing kayak! You talked about a fleet of kayaks. Do you go with Ocean kayaks or just SOPs? Nice video (thumbs up)
Yeah... I've got 5 kayaks. Jackson, 2 Vibes, Perception & Dagger.

Sure! I use it in smaller lakes as well.
And did you mount a fish finder? Is there a scupper hole for it?
Looks like a great little kayak!
about how big are you? looking for a kayak that will support someone on the bigger side

@@Hydrayak I'm 5 11 225 and grabbed the 100, we will see how it runs for me this weekend
thanks for making this video very informative
How would you compare this to the pescador pro 10
Are you able to stand in the yellowfin, I'm a smaller guy
One of the owners of Vibe fishes this yak all the time and he stands in it.
Some can. I'm 6'2" and top heavy so i don't try it.
I wish they had stuck with the latches like you have versus the twist on tops. It is unreliable to be fully closed.
I’ve been ok with the twist off latches. I pretty much only use it for discarded fishing tackle and trash. I keep valuables in a dry bag.
Where is your transducer mounted?
I have a suction cup transducer mount.
What is the action camera's you're using? I'm looking for a GoPro alternative
I picked up some cheap Canany's a few years back. Still buying GoPro's though. The sessions are really nice because they are waterproof and get good sound.
can you do a full skip jack 90 review
I already have! ua-cam.com/video/V3m3VkU51r0/v-deo.html

Beatiful! A big Hug!
I knew a girl once that had a good 8 inches of rod space to :)
