Thanks for the video man! I have the same make and model. What's going on with my truck is once the pressure builds up to the point where it's supposed to " sneeze", a small valve that has a release button on the end of it continues to leak air on the air dryer until my PSI is reading around 75 or so. I replaced the purge valve thinking that was the issue but it's still doing it. So do you think it's the air dryer as a whole that needs to be replaced? Thank you
I think you're talking about the popoff valve and if its leaking you should definitely replace it just make sure when you buy it verify ot pops at around 140-150psi. What i would also recommend is replacing the purge valve. Its really easy you just need to remove the snap ring and thats it.
I have the same truck year and model , my air pressure after a couple of hours starts to build up over 150 and then I won’t cut off and starts to give me the no air warning, could this be the problem , it’s my first truck and I don’t know much about Cummins engines set up or international, I was trying to find out about the air governor but I stumbled intuís vídeo , gracias .
More than likely it will be the air dryer not cutting off at a certain pressure or not cutting off at all. At the company we always recomend to purge the air out of te air tanks every trip if possible. Also if you let a truck sit for long the purge valve tend to get stuck and either it leaks all the air or it wont purge at the correct pressure .
Thanks for posting this. I have an 03 Peterbilt that needs the same replacement done. Your video helped out tremendously on how to do it. 💪💪💪
Mine doesn't sneeze anymore its building way up around 150 psi then bleeds off alot to let all the buildup pressure off ??
thanks for the video helps us alot

@@texacanics9562 awesome thanks man. I've already replaced the purge valve so I'll try the pop off valve next.
Nicely done, personally I would have completed a rebuild…
Can you replace the air governor by itself?
I have the exact same truck
Yess

Hi can you tell me where that yellow air line leads to. Mine burst on me and Im trying to figure out where it leads to so I can repair it.
I believe it leads somewhere to the airbag suspension
Do you remember the part number for that?
No sir. I'm sorry for that🙃
