Your FIRST one truly is a FABULOUS “take” on the circus theme!!! A N D ... WOULD be a GREAT MARKETING artifact for those items you used to make these cards!!
Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!! How wonderful to wake up, turn the computer on, and see you make this gorgeous card. A very happy start to my day. Thank you so much Sam.
I can see so many ways of using this design Sam. Those stamps are lovely. Can't say that lighthouse and beach scenes ever really appealed in the past, but seeing your cards and what you've done with them has changed my mind. Of course they will be added to the BOOK! I'll be on volumes soon. 😂 Thanks for another lovely card to make. That's added to the book of Sams cards too. Yep, volumes for those too. X👏👏
I've been a subscriber to The Pop-Up Channel for years and this card was always on my bucket list. I had watched it again just recently and was still leery of trying it because he gives absolutely no dimensions. While it is wonderful what he can achieve just "winging it", I'd need a lot of paper trials. Thank you soooo much for making this rather complicated card so easy to understand & providing the camera angles necessary for us to have a successful build. Bless you for all the measurements!
Wow!!! What an original pop-up card! This is so cute... I love the dimensional look and I'm amazed that it all folds flat. Can't wait to try this myself. Thank you so much for doing such a fabulous job of explaining the steps in your tutorials. I always learn a lot.
This has come just at the right time, I have a 5yr olds birthday on Saturday, he loves dinosaurs, so I'm thinking a jungle & dinosaurs in the card, thank you x
It's fantastic, I don't have any circus themed stamps or dies, but thinking this might be great for Xmas with a lovely tree in middle surrounded by presents. Thanks for your videos and inspiring us.
Mystery solved Sam . 🤣. I was rewatching your video yesterday as I was working through the process of making this card. Noticed that you have the original die set, not the one I have that has been significantly altered. I don’t have the openings in the curtain pieces to stencil through.
Those are so much fun! Think this could be the next birthday card for the grandchildren. Wish we could get those papers here in Canada. Postage and currency conversion make it prohibitive to order from the UK.
@@MixedUpCraft Thanks, Sam. Didn't realize they would do that. Will definitely watch. Fingers crossed that they don't sell out that bundle before they do. LOL
This is such a cool card, but my brain is hurting from watching!!!! I’m sure if I follow along I will get it as you are a fantastic teacher! Thank you for tacking this one!!!!
Wow - love this! My stuff STILL has not come. Oh my I'm twitchy for it. I've been working on a botanical themed book and this time has allowed me to finish it up. Perhaps that's a good thing. I think I'll be lost in Circusland once it comes. I keep trying to think of ways to adapt your card ideas for use in books...my own "greatest show!"
amazing looks like great fun to make ! Looking forward to making a few ......but..... It's not in your blog yet so hoping it'll be uploaded soon..... Keep up your great dedication to papir crafting :-)
Did you hear me sqeeling with delight...cos hubby did. He came in to see what was wrong. 😂 Nothings wrong, No everything's right. This card is brilliant. Sam I do hope you realise the faffing about I'm going to have to do. I don't have circus Stamps, so I'll have to draw and colour some characters of my own. Good job I love to faff. 😂 I'm off to play. Thank you for this lovely card idea Sam. Delighted. X😊
Oh my Sam, where do I start, everyday I think I'll make this for so and so, then up pops another and I get confused to which I shall try to make, all so beautiful, I love them all. xx
Whoop whoop thank you Sam i am sooo happy you did this Amazing my head had it there but just could not work it out your a star for making this so simply to follow thank you again kind regards Janine
You make it so easy to want to try to make one of these fun cards. I'm already thinking what I can use to make this style of card :-) Thank you so much for your easy to follow tutorial. It's another showstopper! Have safe and well. Hugs ~ Lena
You have definitely inspired me to try and make one of these amazing cards! Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with us. ❤️ I have only recently discovered your designs so I was very excited when this tutorial appeared. I knew I had to watch it straight away and my high expectations were definitely met once again! 😃
Hi Sam....awesome card!!! Wonder if you could come up with a Halloween version and a Christmas version using this technique? I think they would look fantastic! Keep up the great work. 👍
Hi Nancy you make this card for any themed you like, just change up the papers, you could have some ghosts stuck to the inside sections or create a nativity scene 😁
Wow! Another amazing tutorial. I would love to make everything you show us, but I'm a but slow and have no chance of keeping up with you so I'll just carry on at my own pace and show you my efforts if I think they are ok 😀🤞 Thanks again Sam xx
Sam, I bought the die set to do the curtains and bunting., hoping to do this card for my two grandsons. when I cut the curtains and buntings it looks as if areas should cut out, but all I get are little holes top and bottom of the pleats. Is that how it is supposed to be? In your video it looks like there are darker areas where the pleats are.
Hi Dianne, from what I remember it just cuts the outer shape and then I used the die as a stencil to create the curtain drapes. It might be worth checking with Olga Direktorenko UA-cam channel as she is the designer of that set.
@@MixedUpCraft t Thanks, Sam. I actually contacted CraftStash about this, and they asked me to send me photos. They got back to me and said the dies had been changed and they are willing to send me a replacement as long as it is like the original. Otherwise, they will credit my account.
@@MixedUpCraft Hi again, Sam! CraftStash has really been working on this for me, and the gal sent me a photo of the original die set in which the curtains are all one piece and would cut exactly as shown on the packaging. Easily separated with a pair of snips. She is going to send it to me. She says the whole set appears to have been redesigned when they decided to make the side drapes two separate pieces. Think I may have opened a Pandora’s Box as I expect they will now have to have a discussion with their supplier.
Hello Kat. I have a video on mixed up craft ,called “What really is the best Glue to use” . This should help you to decide what glue is best for different types of projects. 😊
I came by this video by pure accident. I didn't get a notification and it doesn't show up in your videos. ONLY in the playlist titled Show Stopper Cards. And I saw the date 5/20/20 but it only has 3 views. You might want to fix that so others can watch. It's a great tutorial!

Amazing as usual Sam. Might it be easier to put the pieces on the 'stage' before adding the curtain slides?
Amanda Marlowe yes definitely, I do suggest that in the video 😀
What an awesome card! And your tutorial makes it so easy thank you Sam 😘 Btw did you fussy cut the figures and animals? x
Hi Barbs, thank you, yes I did fussy cut them, they don't offer dies in this collection 😁

What kind of glue do you use? I have tried several types and it always leaves the card sloppy, in my opinion. Wavy and what not
