My old man grew up on a rez and had some creepy ass stories. He said his uncle got taken by something in the night and they never found him. Well, I found his obituary a few years ago, he died in Texas and had just run away from the rez without telling anyone 😂

I’ve got one for you Mark.
I grew up in church, always hearing about the supernatural. One phrase was burned into my memory: “Jesus has complete authority over all things.” It stayed with me through childhood, but it wasn’t until I was 12 that I truly understood why.
One night, I found myself trapped in a nightmare so vivid and terrifying that it felt like hours. When I finally woke, my heart pounding, I realized something was wrong. I couldn’t open my eyes. I couldn’t move. My body was locked, frozen, paralyzed. Panic engulfed me. I tried to scream for my brother in the next room, but all that came out was a muffled, pathetic murmur. My mouth wouldn’t open.
And then I felt it. Two hands pressed down on my shoulders, pinning me deeper into the bed. Even though I couldn’t see, I knew it wasn’t human. I was petrified. The air around me grew thick with something dark, something hateful. I could feel its anger, its malice, pressing down on me. The weight on my chest was unbearable, and I was certain I was sinking into the bed, about to be swallowed whole.
It was so close-I could feel its face inches from mine. Desperate, I tried to scream again, for anyone to hear me. But again, only that muffled sound escaped. Then I remembered what I had always been told: ”Jesus has complete authority over all things.”
With every ounce of strength in me, I forced out a single word: “JESUS!”
Suddenly, the weight lifted. I shot up in bed, gasping for air, my body finally free. And then I saw it-clinging to the corner of my ceiling, its dark form half-hidden in a swirling mass of black smoke. We locked eyes for a moment, and I could see its fear. It was shocked that I had called on Jesus. Its eyes, the only visible part of its face, were almost human, wide with terror. Then, just as quickly as it had appeared, I shut my eyes, yanked the covers over my head, and prayed all night until I could finally feel the warmth of the morning sun on my blankets. When I peeked out, it was gone.
But the story doesn’t end there.
Ten years later, at 22, I had moved out into my own apartment. I had grown in my faith, had encountered the supernatural before, but nothing quite like what happened next. It was early morning, just as the sun was rising, when I opened my eyes and felt something familiar in the room.
Sitting across from my bed, on my small blue couch, was that same demon.
It hadn’t changed. The same black smoke, the same eyes locked onto mine. It was just sitting there, one leg crossed over the other, arm on the armrest of the couch…just…staring at me. As if it were trying to intimidate me by its sheer presence, daring me to react. This time, we stared at each other longer. The silence stretched on, the air thick with a sense of threat. But I wasn’t that terrified child anymore.
A story flashed through my mind-something I had read recently about an evangelist named Smith Wigglesworth. One night, he was awakened by a creaking sound downstairs. Wigglesworth took his candle and started down the steps. A foul, deathlike odor filled his nostrils. As he approached the room where the sound came from, he felt the air turn cold. Peering into the room, he saw the source of the creaking: a figure in his rocking chair. As he stepped closer, he saw that it was the devil himself! “Oh, it’s only you,” Wigglesworth said as he blew out his candle and returned to bed.
That story bolstered me. Filled me with confidence in God’s sovereignty and authority over everything. I knew I had absolutely nothing to fear with God on my side. So I looked the demon dead in the eyes and said “In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, I rebuke and command you to get out of my house and never come back. You have no authority here. You are not welcome here. Leave right now.”
I didn’t wait to see what happened next. I rolled over and prayed that God would protect me and bring his presence into my home. Peace swept across me. Complete tranquility.
    I went back to sleep.
I’m 34 years old now, and to this day, I’ve never seen that demon again. Why it appeared to me twice, I have no idea-but one thing’s for sure: Jesus has complete authority over all things.
    --
Thanks for the chance to share my experience. Love the pod and all of the awesome content! - Josiah

Yah. Sht can be so scary it's traumatizing. U get to a place where u realize u dont know anything about anything. So it's hard to be one of those people that doesn't believe in anything and is always a skeptic for the oppurtunity to say none of that stuff is real. If demons are real. Then wtf isn't. I'm not gonna say something doesn't exist. Good lord. It's fkd up.

@@dilla5020 I was with my ex in area know for lots of sighting and screaming noises on the reservation. Miles from the nearest house. We stayed out all night from 1am - 3am. I was getting scared and had a scary feeling like we were being watched. It was a full moon so our shadows were very visible in the ground. I told my ex that I was genuine scared and I wanted to leave she agreed but at 3am. It was 10 mins away from that time. This all happened within 10 mins, I heard 2 things, animal or people running circles around us fast. Like I was turning my head fast all around us. It kept getting closer but we couldn’t see it and it sounded really heavy. The area had tall bushes about 3 feet high and the sounds got closer. I seen what I can describe as a black energy orb and a white one and it looked as if they were chasing each other. As it got closer it disappeared and manifested itself into a shadow on the ground. At first it was a lizard, then a frog, then a snake. All happening so fast and I walked away from it until it chased me around for a couple minutes. I told my ex to leave and she said no as if she was interested to see what would happens next. Then I look to the cliff and see this tall figure as tall as a tree arms out horizontally and head arched down. Black figure with lots of hair covering its face. I froze close my eyes and told myself it wasn’t real and opened them. It was still there watching us. The figure was illuminated by the really bright moon. Then as it became 2:57 I lied to my ex and said it’s 3am and said let’s leave and she agreed. At the exact time a truck came hauling down the only road directly toward us. Our vehicle was parked at the beginning of the road half a mile away. We duck and hid and ran back to our vehicles never looking back. I was told and I believe that we were at a witching area where these skinwalkers have meetings and ceremonies. And we disrupted and was not supposed to be there. And it smelt like death in that area like really bad. We ran and left in the night. This happened in Mentmore, NM lots of sighting of UFOS, skinwalkers, and even Bigfoot like creatures. Ever since then I can remember this encounter to every detail it was a wild experience

@14:10 Mark, imagine your Skinwalker story from that guys perspective.
He's out in the middle of no where possibly camping maybe his car broke down since you said you were by a road and during this you hear a bunch of voices but can't quite make out where they're coming from but as you keep walking it seems to get louder and now you sound like you're right on top of them but it's still dark out and you're not sure if that's just corn stalks in the corn field.
Your mind starts racing and your heart starts beating a little faster. You walk a little faster while you're asking yourself, where the fuck are the people talking? Why the fuck are so many people out in the middle of no where? Am I really hearing voices? What the actual fuck man? WHY CANT I SEE THEM?
Then, all of sudden all the voices stop. You think you hear whispering but that could just be the wind in the trees. But they were all just talking? Why'd they stop talking? So you speed your walk up even more, moving as fast as you can while walking really putting your body into it but not wanting to run and make noise and make the voices come back so you lock in and focus dead ahead because you keep thinking you're seeing something out of the corner of your eye and you're still not quite sure where the voices went...
Yeah dude, I'd bee line the fuck out of there too without looking around if I was that guy 😂

So I grew up in Northern California. I spent more time in nature than not. The most terrifying thing I have been through was in Lassen National Park. There were three girls and one guy who went on this trip. We set up camp, ate dinner, and got a little drunk. We all went to sleep, we had two dogs with us in our tent. At 3-4 in the morning the dogs started running in the tent over all of us barking and woke us all up. About 5 minutes after there was the craziest noise I have ever heard in my life. It sounded like a cougar and a woman screaming but the noise was coming from two places like two of them fighting. I have heard bobcat and cougar calls of all kinds and I do not think that was what our group heard. It was terrifying we packed up at first light. Two of my friends didn't remember it but there were two of us who do, still no idea what happened and having been in California it could have been Sasquatch.

When I was 16, I visited Cambodia with my dad. He had planned the whole trip and told me a little about the itinerary, but not too much detail. We traveled to Phnom Penh and stayed about two blocks away from the Killing Fields. At that point, we hadn’t visited the museum or anything, and he didn’t tell me much-just that we were going to a war museum.
The night before our visit, I was sleeping in my own bed. I can still vividly remember what happened. Suddenly, I woke up. The room looked exactly the same, but I noticed something at the bottom of my bed, peeking up at me. Within a split second, my heart dropped. It was an old Asian man with long hair and a beard. He was covered in blood, looked like he had been beaten, and was missing teeth. He was malnourished and frail, and his eyes were haunting. Before I could react, he leapt at me, screaming in a language I didn’t understand.
Then I woke up-same bed, same room-but the man was gone. I was panicked and screamed for help, yelling to my dad that there was someone at the end of my bed. I was terrified, sobbing uncontrollably. My dad checked the room and even looked in the hallway, but no one was there.
The next day, we visited the Killing Fields, and I learned about the atrocities Pol Pot had committed. It was horrifying to see how millions of innocent people had been t*rtured and m*rdered. Walking through the jail cells, I could still see bloodstains on the floor-left untouched to show the brutal reality of what had happened.
At the end of the tour, there were photographs of the prisoners who had been held at the camp. And there he was-the old man from the end of my bed. He looked just as malnourished and beaten as I’d seen him the night before. After seeing everything, I started to believe he might have been stuck and needed help.
I can still remember his face so vividly, im 27 now.

I live in southern WV and growing up I loved spending time camping in the woods, taking machetes and axes me and my bestfriend at the time cleared areas, literally trees and brush to make some pretty dope camp grounds. It was awesome, peaceful most of the time. Got a group of friends to go camping on occasion was a nice escape from town and all the bs but yeah it could definitely freak you out at the same time if you get into that mindset. The real monsters we ran into was the wildlife tho mostly coyotes, they seemed more scared of us tho, once a couple panthers went by us we froze but they walked right past us sniffing out a coyotes trail that just went by us. One time we found a glowing tree by accident. apparently the tree sap absorbed sunlight and made it glow at night, was a tree we was cutting during the day went out the tent to piss and glowing bark and sticks were everywhere. It was awesome lol I took a small one home and it continued to glow for about a week or two before it stopped.

Not gonna lie, I grew up in an old house that was built on a bluff where natives used to camp and that was a SPOOKY house . I swear it was haunted and had all kinds of weird spooky things happen in the woods behind the neighbourhood.
Then we moved into a house where my bedroom was the only part of the original house that was still there and I swear that room was haunted. Paintings and tvs were always falling down in that house in the middle of the night and it was creeeeeeepy. I swear I felt someone sit on my bed or touch me so many times. Once I was really sick with a fever as a teen and I swear I saw someone in my room like watching over me and make sure I was getting better.
Now I live in the middle of the woods next to a native reserve, but I honestly feel safe and like it is the only house that isn’t haunted that I’ve lived in. I always joke though that I wouldn’t be surprised if bigfoot or some thing else just like came by for a visit😂
One of the ladies I work with is native ( her and her husband moved off the reservation but live near it like me) and she says she always heard stories of weird things in the woods. She just always warns me not to whistle when I am alone at night or if I hear weird noises to just stay inside. Not sure why but I am not going to tempt fate😂 she has lived out here for her whole life so I listen to her. She also says that for the most part you don’t have to worry about much in the woods unless you have bad intentions and aren’t being respectful. Even when it comes to animals, as long as you respect them and give them space/ acknowledge that they are there you will be okay.

Always fun to get a little creeped out, thanks Mark! My friends and I went to see “Flo the ghost” in the Ogden city cemetery in Utah once. There are many encounters posted about her online. 5 of us were in a car, you park in a certain spot inside the cemetery at night, this was back before they closed it after dark. Flash the headlights 3 times and wait. We were obviously there for a spooky experience so we’ve obviously always wondered if it was just our minds playing tricks on us, but after about a minute of complete silence in the car, we all reacted at the exact same moment with a gasp. We saw what looked to be a silhouette of a white dress fade in and out of view right in the middle of the path. It would come closer and farther away, swaying in the wind. After she had disappeared and several minutes went by, a guy and a girl with us decided to show how tough they were so they got out and walked down the path. They had never been there before, but in the complete darkness, he walked about 100 yards down the path, turned right, walked to the second row of headstones and found the headstone of “Florence Grange,” without looking at a single other headstone. To this day, 15 years later, all 5 of us from that night still talk about it and cannot quite explain what we saw other than say it must have been her. If we hadn’t experienced it all together I would have been able to write it off as just freaking myself out but we all claimed to see the same thing at the exact same time.
Has anyone else heard of or seen Flo?

I had a similar experience recently in September. I had viral fever and was on meds... One night I simply couldnt sleep.. My mind wouldn't stop counting... Its just counting random numbers and simply unable to stop. I felt so helpless.. It was so tiring and scary. During the whole ordeal i thought i am losing my mind.. I will never be the same. Thank God.. It was just then once

OK, so......I've LOADS of stories like these but I will share one with you. I grew up in the Caribbean, the Virgin Islands, in an aea called Arundel Estate. The land has been in my family's name for over 200yrs. We've got a family burial plot, which is close to my house and Its probably important to note that the land was also a slave plantation. With all that being said....Here's my story
I'm about 9/10 yrs old at the time and was sharing a room with my older brother. I was on the top bunk and he was on the bottom. I've suffered with insomnia ever since I've known myself, and like a true insomniac, I woke up in the middle of the night. I turned to the right of me and there was this woman, floating over my bed, kneeling. I was a bit startled, but not frightened to the point where i couldn't do anything, as she was the most beautiful person I'd ever seen in my life. She had a calm demeanour and meekness about her (very demure). My heartrate was slightly elevated, and then I sat up, (I guess maybe to speak her, I'm unsure why I did this). Then as soon as I sat upright, she lunged for me and her whole face tore open in a very grotesque way. I immediately jumped off the bed and turned on all the lights, waking my brother up. I frantically explained what happened but he just parred it off as nothing and went back to bed. Needless to say i did not sleep that night, nor the 3 nights after.
