Right at about 24:35 you start seeing parked vehicles out the window.... that is 1 of only 2 (I believe it is) park and watch lots in the country where you can pull and park in a lot that's right along side the runways to watch flights come and go all day long. We've been out there many times to do so. It's truly awesome!
Travel is my passion and always has been, so much so that I was a flight attendant for American for over a decade. There are few places I'd rather be, or that make me feel more relaxed, than a triple 7 going to HI. Mahalo~
Wow this is breathtakingly amazing video quality @ 2160p 4K on my UHD 4K 60” Display. North Carolina looks like one big garden of Eden paradise never seen anywhere look so lush and green bit like far North Queensland here in Australia.
And it is also nice for people to make videos of their flights so that dose who didn't get to see the sky above or dose who never went for a flight at least they get to watch the videos to motivate them to go for a flight.✈
Is it not incredible that you can fly for over 10 hours and still be in this great country of ours? We’re very lucky to have such a wide variety of geographical areas.
@@SYDAirlineEnthusiast My point still stands. You can wake up and take a swim in the warm tropical waters of Florida and then dip your feet into the frigid Arctic Ocean in Alaska with polar bears in the evening. That is truly extraordinary. There aren’t too many countries in the world with such geographic and climate diversity.
Found your channel few months ago. Really glad you don't put ads in your vids. I have adhd and listening to the humming of plane engines always keeps my mind "quiet" and allows me to focus.
Well, I do try to create the most immersive flight videos on UA-cam. No, music, commentary, unnecessary sound effects, etc. Just, you, the plane, the regular sounds, and the full flight. That said, to be completely transparent. I do have ads enabled on my videos. Ads are the only reason I'm able to continue flying. Which of course, means they're the only thing that allows me to continue filming content haha. I do however, try to limit them to as few ad breaks as possible. So, I appreciate the kind words my friend. I do my best to make interruptions to your viewing experience as few as possible.
@@sla31 I noticed the ads after like 2-3hrs but couldn't care less honestly. Its not overwhelming like every 15mins. I understand the need for it as you've explained. Regardless, keep it up. Really a joy to watch what you post.
The times I've spent on planes with basically this same view and thought to myself how amazing this was and how it's only been possible for a few years in this history of mankind yet most people treat it as though it is just commonplace and no big deal at all. It may be commonplace but it's a bit of a miracle we do this every day and think nothing of it!
It's great to be able to see the thrust reverser working. The thrust reversers are deployed between 08:35:11 and 08:35:41. On this model a passenger can see a thrust reverser deployed, because the engines are very much forward of the wings. On many models, the thrust reversers are tucked under the wings in positions where the reversers are not visible to passengers.
Things i-PURELY-LOVED AND ENJOYED about this video-trip: 1)Definitely,the BIG LENGTH of this Trip! For REAL LOVERS of the LONG, Transpacific(mainly)trips! 2)The ONLY(my Favorite)Sound of the aircraft engines! 3)The Stability of the plane during all through the LONG flight!which make s it a quiet, superb and a safer Trip.. 4)The beautiful clouds below, almost all over the Ocean, which makes it feel rather more"comfortable"and"tel ieving"!(Though,I Love to watch the immensity of the Ocean from..above too!)5)Again,the Quietude and Isolat ion on board-owing to the first class seat,too..the cubicle is really effecti ve!)Besides,I prefer to watch the jour ney alone-itself to other passengers around, babies crying, adults talking, eating, drinking etc.6)The point(a lit tle before approaching the airport,I think..)where clouds get thicker and the engine sound changes rather to a weird, almost surreal one!!Yet,the pilot's announcement...brings you down to reality!!A magic trip is over! Another GREAT video of theSkylite productions! The BEST Channel of the kind!THANK YOU for Sharing!! Please keep up the G
I just sat through the full 8 hours of this - to finish a project. What a glorious landing. Thank you !! I'd love to pick your brain on how you produce these things. I'm thinking of starting my own channel here in Europe but I have the slight premonition it's not sustainable at the current prices.
I'm glad this one was able to help you focus my friend. Many people have commented similar things. That they use these longer videos to help study, focus, or get work done. I'm always happy to answer questions people have. My setup is pretty simple. Many people assume I use some type of suction cup mount, but I do not. I film everything by hand, even on these longer flights. The problem with mounts is that they're connected directly to the plane. And when you do that, all of the vibrations from the engines get transferred right into the lens of the camera. Which gives the footage a ripple effect. Like hundreds of jitters coursing through the footage. IMO, that ruins the final production. And then I film with iPhones. I wear/have all black equipment. Since airplanes effectively have double paned windows, if you don't have all black equipment, it will show up as a reflection in the window. Of course, the inner window isn't structural, and is just a plastic piece, but it still effectively causes the same effect as a double paned window. So, in addition to having black iPhones, matte black cases, and even black charging cords, I also wear black long sleeve shirts and I wear black gloves. I may look slightly ridiculous to other passengers, but anything to get the best final product haha. I then travel with three iPhones. Currently that's one iPhone 13 Pro with 1TB of storage, and two iPhone 12 Pros with 512GB each. That gives me 2TB of immediate storage. Filming in 4K 60fps takes up a lot of space. Then to accompany the cameras, I also have two 20,000 mAh battery packs that are enough to charge a single iPhone 20+ times over. Filming in 4K also drains power fast. As for prices... That's the biggest hurdle. I'll be honest my friend. I've been running this channel now for over 7 years. And it was well into the 5th year before I ever made any real money. It wasn't until the 6th year that I was making enough to pay for all my flights. And even today, there are some months where I don't make enough to cover my expenses. Especially with the world climate right now, inflation, and everything else. I run everything on here with a shoestring budget. People often ask why I don't do as many cool things like Sam Chui, Jeb Brooks, Noel Philips, etc. And it's because I just can 't afford to haha. I mean there's no sugar coating it. I try to produce the absolute highest quality, most pure, aviation content on YT, but I can only do so much with what I bring in. I hope that helps my friend. Again, I'm always happy to answer any questions. Unlike a lot of bigger channels, I read every comment, and I reply to most. Thanks for watching! I really appreciate it!
@@sla31 😳 Wow! I was always curious on how you did it. I can see the POV shift a little every now and then so I thought, hmmm looks like he is holding the camera, but that's impossible! The production value is outstanding and you have iron discipline. Your arm must be killing you after these super long flights. That is an incredible amount of dedication. Thank you.
I watch these 777 flights into and out of Charlotte on FlightRadar24 and sometimes if I'm lucky to catch one at the overlook at the airport. The takeoffs don't fly over my house, but the landing approach come right over at 4,000 feet periodically. The neighbors probably think I'm crazy when I run outside looking up when a cool plane comes over.
Wow Charlotte Douglas International to Daniel K. Inouye International, what a long flight. I'm also amazed that eventhough this is an Extended Range aircraft that it doesn't have to land at a West Coast Airport like LAX for refueling.
It is a long flight, but with a range of 8,000+ miles the 777-200/ER here could almost do this entire round trip without stopping. The flight from CLT-HNL is about 4,600 miles, meaning the 777 could get all the way to HNL, never land, turn around, and make it all the way to Denver, Colorado before needing to land for fuel. It's really quite amazing. Thanks for watching my friend!
Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Boeing. Erich Jeske

5:07:06 - Transition between West coast and ocean to Hawaii. Great video.
Thanks 🎉
These vids seriously help me sleep
This is the first time I see in video a plane from the ground climbing to reach its cruising altitude ! Congratulations !
I had to fast forward through most of this, not because it isnt amazing, but because I have to clock in at work in about 10 minutes! 📞Great footage!
Wow I love that Trent 800 sound, especially that throttle reduction after takeoff! One of my favorite aircraft engines! Great video as always!
what about the GE big boys..
@@jteaguelll the GE is not that loud
@@Pkmn_mlp_sonic_fnaf_fanGE 90 is rly loud when take off but when inflight it’s very quiet
videos like these calm me down when i am sad.
What a difference between the GE and RR. Still, the RR has a FAR superior roar. Love it!!!!!!!
I’m watching this to get accustomed to airports and planes and overcome my fear of flying
Many people have told me they used my videos for this and that it worked for them. I hope you are one of those people soon 😁
This brought back so many memories!! Left my heart in Hawaii!
@Basaltic Life 🤣🤣🤣
And it is also nice for people to make videos of their flights so that dose who didn't get to see the sky above or dose who never went for a flight at least they get to watch the videos to motivate them to go for a flight.✈
Is it not incredible that you can fly for over 10 hours and still be in this great country of ours? We’re very lucky to have such a wide variety of geographical areas.
Indeed. Very well said!
Agreed!
To be fair, around half of the flight took place outside this country.
I've flown on a 13 hour flight from Dubai to the us!
It almost looks so unreal with that beautiful water at the end.
Nice- I'm glad American added this route - Once I saw the US. shoreline 5:05:59 I skipped to the smooth landing in Hawaii. Thanks...👍🏼
Thanks for watching my friend. I appreciate it!
I was on N753AN when I went to Hawaii in December. How cool!
American Airlines first class is nice! That's awesome you got the opprotunity to fly it!
You can see the stress these planes experience during flight. No wonder they have to be retired after certain hours. Great video.
It says in the description that this plane has been in service for 20 years. That's a LOT of flight time.
These kinds of videos are stunning. Thank you for making this!
Glad you enjoyed them my friend! Thanks for watching!
Very beautiful water! What a great trip! Thank you for showing it to us. :)
Absolutely great sleep therapy and reminds me of flying with my family
The 777 is a BEAST.
The best part of this video is I get to watch it from my comfortable desk chair with nobody else around. 😂
Great video. This will be my exact flight ✈️ in 9 days. My wife & I never flew. Now we know what to expect. Thx again.
Well said my friend. Thanks for watching!
NEVER been on a plane ..gave me deep perspective and saved me about $2200😁✈✈✈✈
It's great to be able to see the thrust reverser working. The thrust reversers are deployed between 08:35:11 and 08:35:41. On this model a passenger can see a thrust reverser deployed, because the engines are very much forward of the wings. On many models, the thrust reversers are tucked under the wings in positions where the reversers are not visible to passengers.
This helps me sleep
Things i-PURELY-LOVED AND ENJOYED about this video-trip:
1)Definitely,the BIG LENGTH of this Trip!
PLEASE keep up the GREAT WORK!!!

I love long flights I like watching them and like being in the air my self
I will be on this flight soon. Thanks for the upload!
OMG BUTTER I didn't even notice he touched down!
Thank you.
This seemed like the smoothest flight ever.. definitely good for sleeping. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I did this flight roundtrip in May from HNL to JFK thru CLT and it was a Winner!
Outstanding 772 onboard video. The engine sound was thrilling.
I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend!
Oh yes the Trents sound so good on Takeoff
This was very nice ,I have watched this video for hours and it felt like I was in a flight too
I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend!
These videos keep me sane while working from home. Thank you for this!
I'm glad they're helping keep you sane my friend. Thanks for watching!
I felt like we were taking a tour of the airport..longest taxi out I've seen..crazy.
My folks flew AAL STL-HNL on a B707 back in 1973. Long flight.
Erich Jeske
Absolutely my favorite one yet. So cool seeing it fly over the coast. Keep the cool vids coming!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Where did you cross the west coast at? If you don’t mind me asking
@@chrisbrown6548 It was much farther north than I thought it would be. We ended up crossing over Oregon. Close to Eugene, if I remember correctly. Oregon, either way.
Thank you very much
Last time I flew on AA to Honolulu I had the privilege to fly on my one and only 707. Had to refuel in Los Angeles. I'm thinking it was 1978 and I was like 10 years old. Nothing like the sound of those low bypass fanjets.
This helps me sleep whenever im up very late thank you and I appreciate your content
Wow I’ve never flown first class and now I can with this video. Thank you sir.
I don't get to fly in first very often, so it was a treat for me too. I'm glad I could take everyone along with me!
One of the coolest ideas for a UA-cam channel that I’ve seen. Thanks for helping with the sleep. Subbed!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Welcome to the channel! Thanks for watching!
1st 30mins of suspense taking off
Excellent video!! 👍👍good job. Always the best views.
Great view of Ford Island (Pearl Harbor) before the final turn.
I'm 'bout 50nm NW of CLT, and skywatch the patterns as a hobby. I could see my farm in your video - too cool!
The food choice looks delicious for an US airline. Well done AA.
It was pretty good, tbh. Thanks for watching!
