It was fun. It was the only game I played except World of Tanks. I changed through accounts aa i didnt understand steam and i kept forgetting my pass so i had to make a new account. It was a troll one and it just said delete it. I laughed and went in the game. I played. One last thing that got me mad was players that are new killing friendlies and hoovies. I thought of bots, not having updates and now new players ruining the good warmth of the communities. I just quit tf2 2 weeks before. I also quit csgo too as i have to pay monthly for no hackers. Valve let both games to die. Atleast I do play other games such as Hearts of Iron 4 and Assetto Corsa that wastes time and is fun, but it doesnt replace tf2. I have seen many people quit tf2 and I am thankful for them to play and live on the community. I hope they atleast give one developer to tf2. Thank you guys for being in the community and dont let the bots and new tryhards kill the game, It was just too much for me to handle. Have a nice day or night
I've started playing tf2 in the past few weeks and i'm thankful for the game for bringing me into online fps games. I'm not good at it yet (mainly just rocket jump everywhere as solider), but i'm learning, and i'm happy the game still has such a big community
I understand but this goes to far. Tf2 community complains everyday every second and i get it i see this but thats to far valve has tight situation cuz blizzard scaring stuff and coronavirus so there are like 2 times less developers and the have 2 projects they are rn working on so dont complain it will not change anything there was update like 2 weeks ago or more that was pretty good and fixed old bugs that are disturbing. Even if they will release update it will be like after 3 or more month and complaining will not do shit.
I feel horrible that I am so new to this game. I have fallen in love with TF2. I started playing as Scout, since he is the easiest to understand, then as I got better, I went to Medic to play support (My favorite role in games) and now I love the game! I wish I could have seen it in it's prime...
This thing's a year old but it cycled back in my shorts' section, so I'll recycle an old nugget of hope; If it helps the Steam players feel any better, TF2 was out on Console first (The Orange Box 2007, then PC in 2008.) but it was abandoned there back in 2009; More specifically, the last update it ever got was an update that let hosts lock down how many of each class they can have in their games. No hats. No emotes. No weapons. No tauntkills or airblasts. Nothing. It has only 6 maps; 2Fort, Dustbowl, Hydro, Granary, Gravel Pit, & Well. The only 'balanced' one is 2Fort. You can get out of bounds in half the maps, you can kill your teammates by swapping to spectator after rolling a crit pipebomb/crocket with demo/soldier, et al. TF2360's the only 'good' one (PS3 didn't even get Medic callouts, I'm told.) and it's only saving grace is what little bit of the 'modding' community graces it's 3 games a day with voiceline bind infections, and even then those are gone when you leave. As a 'kick them while they're down' moment, with the backwards compatibility, some functionality didn't carry over, like 'Battlecry' working on other classes with melee out, and "Help' responding to capture points. Our only sliver of hope for an Update is that Gabe feels even slightly intimidated by Overwatch coming to Steam (Unlikely) and pulls an Uno Reverse by finally updating/upgrading TF2 for console. Only time will tell, but here's to hoping VaLVe don't forget TF2 exists and that the Seal update isn't some single developer's pity update they got fired over.
Valve is the neglectful parents who go out drinking 14 hours a day, while the community is the older brother who takes care of TF2, the youngest child.
At this point, it's like Valve is TRYING to get TF2 to finally die, but they accidentally made the second most immortal game in existence. (Second to minecraft, tf2 is older I know) Valve doesnt understand they CANT take out TF2. Even if they shut down the servers, the insanity afterward would cost them WAY more than just leaving the servers up. Even though it's a classic pc game that makes them millions and has a great mostly non-toxic community, valve doesnt care about it anymore. They wont update the anti cheat, they won't fix the bots. They're leaving their most classic multiplayer fps to die.
Valve felt like that they’re a forgotten company, even they forgotten their own successful games too. So sad that Valve is been doing this, but there could’ve been a reason why.

Even if they will release update it will be like after 3 or more month and complaining will not do shit.
you don’t need to make excuses for big companies not caring
Yes corona means people can't type numbers into a computer.
@@audivivocem no thats not the thing they dont care all of the valve is working on citadel
“Highest number of unique players” “Overrun by bots” Ever consider that these might be correlated
There's absolutely no way bots made a dent in TF2's multi-hundred million lead there from over the years, they are inconsequential
Well there’s some great news now :D
I feel horrible that I am so new to this game. I have fallen in love with TF2. I started playing as Scout, since he is the easiest to understand, then as I got better, I went to Medic to play support (My favorite role in games) and now I love the game! I wish I could have seen it in it's prime...
If this game dies the community. Will go into an outrage.
Great depression.
This thing's a year old but it cycled back in my shorts' section, so I'll recycle an old nugget of hope;
If it helps the Steam players feel any better, TF2 was out on Console first (The Orange Box 2007, then PC in 2008.) but it was abandoned there back in 2009; More specifically, the last update it ever got was an update that let hosts lock down how many of each class they can have in their games. No hats. No emotes.
The 1 employee still tangled in the code: I'm sorry son..
Every other merc: Speaks normally
Pyro: HUDDA HUDDA HAR, HUDDA HUDDA HAR
Tf2 is basically the Left 4 Dead main characters.
They're still holding on.
Dont worry Valve did not forget there was a NEW UPDATE
TF2 and pvz shooters are so similar, that both their devs forgot about them
“There are game breaking bugs everywhere”
Welcome to subnautica
HL1 and HL2 is forgotten most people say that GMOD was the game that made the source engine
Tf2 will never be forgotten
Valve felt like that they’re a forgotten company, even they forgotten their own successful games too. So sad that Valve is been doing this, but there could’ve been a reason why.
GOD DAMN YOU, VALVE!
The only thing carrying tf2 is the community memes and animations
TF2: hey valve, most successful and played game you own here(and is still successful), think you could work on at least one update since we broke our all time player count?
Valve: lmao no, you have zero players and are dead to us
'Valve Forgot TF2!'
Summer 2023: Not. Yet.
This is the only thing that will keep Team fortress 2 alive in our hearts
Valve in the future:
"Today we are announcing Team Fortress Th-"
Everyone: "THREE?"
Valve: "The Heavy Update"
Everyone: "YEAHHHHH!!!"
The one thing that tf2 still have the Community we still make it alive and strong
Heh, yeeeeah... *mysterious man with crowbar walks off through the exit door....*
Zealot when he runs out of skits:
When your creators forget you, you make them remember
I wanna be a TF2's developer when I grew up
Most companies find their cash cow and milk it until it dies, valve won't even feed theirs
“Why are we still here? Just to suffer?”
And we're always here in this game spamming the quick match button but no results show up
Well...when you think about being left neglected is what makes tf2... magical
