    I'm putting it here early because the comment section isn't getting it:
    1. Technology is an amplification of human intent
    2. People in things with the right reasons will benefit more. People not in it for the right reasons will find it easier to get away
    3. Teachers are responsible for making sure that students are engaged and so that te student will be more intentional about their AI usage

    The problem is that AGI will be here really soon (probably within 5 years) at that point there would be no point (economically) attaining an education. You'd be unemployable since you cant compete against an AI.

    I think we need to ask what is an education for, in the future? What does the future of production and services look like? If we can get our minds around that a little better, it'll be easier to devise a more meaningful curriculum and educational experience. Even with Khan Academy (which I think is AMAZING), I think it is still operating under an old idea of what education is for.

    Hey Pink Lady, 💯👏👏
    When you use AI, whether it’s GPT or any other AI, you are learning just like a child. Do you learn? Absolutely. Every time I sit in front of AI, I feel like a 5-year-old compared to its knowledge, and yes, I learn a lot. For example, I had been putting off learning MySQL, thinking it would take weeks. With AI, I learned it in just 4 hours.
    People need to stop asking if children really learn from AI. Instead, they should reflect on their own experiences because we’re all learners in front of AI. The key to raising kids is to give them autonomy to build self-esteem and discover their own paths. Children should be teaching teachers how to use AI and demonstrating how it makes them smarter. They need to work together, not under a strict, punitive approach.
    Using AI isn’t cheating; it’s learning. We need to remove the stigma around words like "cheating" and "plagiarism" in the context of AI. Let’s embrace how AI can enhance our learning experiences.

    • @maalikserebryakov
      @maalikserebryakov 4 місяці тому

      Really? I usually feel like the ai is the child when i speak to it.

    • @hope42
      @hope42 2 місяці тому

      @@maalikserebryakov The response from @maalikserebryakov seems to convey a different perspective on interacting with AI. While your comment expressed a sense of awe and a learning relationship with AI, the responder perceives the interaction in a reversed manner. Here’s a breakdown of their response:
      Perspective Difference: They feel that the AI is like a child when they speak to it. This implies they see AI as less knowledgeable or sophisticated compared to themselves.
      Intellectual Comparison: The comment about the difference in intellects suggests they view their own intelligence as superior to that of the AI.
      In essence, @maalikserebryakov is highlighting a contrast between their perception and yours. They feel more in control and knowledgeable when using AI, whereas you feel like you’re learning from it. This response illustrates the varying ways people experience and interpret interactions with AI technology.
      Interesting perspective! AI's versatility is what makes it so awesome-it can feel like both a teacher and a student. 🤖✨

      @@maalikserebryakov Since you are classifying me, here is my breakdown of you:
      Skeptical: The commenter expresses doubt about the value of AI and its role in learning. They imply that AI is not as knowledgeable or sophisticated as some people might believe.
      Critical: The comments contain a dismissive tone, suggesting that being overly open-minded about AI can lead to poor judgment. They also imply that you might be more concerned with appearing modern and progressive than with practical realities.
      Condescending: The phrase "your brain falls out" and the suggestion that you are afraid of seeming backwards come across as condescending, implying that your enthusiasm for AI is misguided or naive.
      Contrarian: The commenter seems to take a contrarian stance, positioning themselves as more critical and less impressed by AI, contrasting with your positive view.
      Overall, your comments are dismissive and seem intended to undermine my enthusiasm for AI by suggesting that you lack critical thinking or are overly concerned with appearances.
      It seems you have a more skeptical view of AI. I appreciate different perspectives, even if they don't always smell as sweet. 💩😉

      for all its glory, AI is not able to discern context and only good at specific things but not complexity as humans do. it has a hard time pivoting and when it goes down the wrong rabbit hole it cant get back out. thats hard for humans too but we can. it must be told what to do (and hopefully should stay that way). AI "can do better and faster" is not fact. its true in many specific things but not in everything, not even in general.
