I gotta say, Midoriya’s somber moment at the beginning of this made me feel some stuff. The somber mood in general followed by the intense fight gave me consistent chills.
Well they did have a few recap episodes weeks before the official start of S7. They just opted to make them not included in the actual season itself. lol
She left her super strength for air and laser thats why you can see damage on her
ahhh ok that explains a qeustion i had, i was like "didnt she already break a key rule of her power by pulling off that move since she can affect 2 objects and 1 is always herself?"
i feel like not having her super strength active is going to cost her if shigi breaks out of that move since she'll still have his

My guess is: She and Shigaraki said she has a rule of strength on her. She created the air giant (1), to clap him, and then removed the strength to hold laser (2) (because she doesnt need strength if she's using the laser that's doing the most damage)

They actually did do a recap for MHA which is hilarious because not a lot of purple know about it for some reason. Think it was called mha memories? Also it’s hilarious that the moment he was trying to think of the name of susanoo I also forgot at that same moment. I had to dig deep for that one 😂

They came with the HEAT for Ep 1!!! Right into the action 🔥 I LOVE that we are going to experience so many different stories within these characters! Tomuras own fight within himself is such a CRAZY ride that I’m ready to learn and figure out, sooooo deep 🔥
It’s wild because All for One is the ULTIMATE villain and One for All is the ULTIMATE power to destroy him and Deku is chosen to be the last wielder (as an anime only watcher, that’s my prediction, but could be wrong 😅). Man the beauty of anime, we get left to figure out why the heck is going to happen and then we get hit with twists and turns. Love this shiii 🔥
She always had super strength on but she temporarily got rid of super strength, to have that huge titan and being able to hold the lasers at the same time

Usually she always has the super strength...to be like All Might, her master. Right now, she removed it.
Her quirk is actually top secret. Like the specifics of how it works, the public and villains just have a general idea.
There was 4 weeks of recaps in the form of episodes called Memories. That's why this first episode just hits the ground running.

This fight in the manga had an amazing sense of scale, interesting shots/coregraphy and tension that sadly the anime didn't really pull of: The giant air construct and laser pillar in particular felt absolutely monumental. I wish the anime really brought out the sakuga quality animation here and it's a shame it didn't.
i am not sure you understood when she said when all might saved her. let me explain she was the girl in the first my hero academia movie called two heroes in the beginning of the film all might had a flash back on when he met his united states friend David Shield. in the flash back the robber was about run over a car in traffic that was stars and stripes family and her younger sister and young all might come to save that event was 20 years ago. go check it out the movie to get what i mean. That little girl become inspired by all might and become stars and stripes i love how she calls all might "master" the amount of respect she has for him shows in this episode. who would have thought that little girl in the my hero academia first film was her that is crazy. soo beautiful ❤

Nah, im sorry, but i hate how they used her. They either could have used her in the battlr that just happened or the war their literally prepping for right now. But no, she pulls up by herself with the strongest quirk.
This last part is spoils. But instead of you know, just waiting a few months for the actual battle to begin, she makes the one wrong decision and decides she needs to kill him right now for whatever f*cking reason. Just to take that massive L, die, and loses the one quirk that will change the tides of the war. Like whyyyyyyyy😭
