thanks for the video. I have found allot of success with Lorehold more than you seem to think. I have found playing multiple 3/3 is just overwhelming for most decks and they have to 2-1 them. Really like your insights thanks so much!
I've always loved the careful use of hybrid mana when constructing sets. You hit a very good point about the cars that are pure hybrid being useful for multiple colleges. Good design, Wizards, now give my man here a preview for the next set! Great information as always, buddy!
I managed to go 7-2 in my first Strixhaven Sealed running a Silverquill deck with Strixhaven Stadium. Stadium got me 2 of those wins. Get some flyers and hit them in the face with Stadium ticking away and there's nothing they can do about it. Plus a few tokens coming out of a Dramatic finale I also pulled helped. Meant could afford to swing in and lose creatures to get the stadium counters as I knew they were coming back as flying tokens to then defend with or hit again and win.
You got a subscriber and my appreciation, I was struggling with this new set and after this video navigating the draft made much more sense, 3-0 so far and already better than almost all my previous runs (except one lucky lorehold aggressive)
As allways a great video! My first strixhaven sealed entry didn't work out at all in the arena but drafting was really fun. Thanks for the great guidance!
Excellent analytics! Many conclusions I made based on about 10-15 drafts, and you made them a day after the release of the set. I disagree only with your attitude towards Green and White, my opinion is fundamentally opposite. Thanks for the guide!
Thank you! There's always things about these guides I wish I could change/update, especially as we all get to playing with it. Overall, I am happy with this guide and feel confident it will help anyone looking to draft Strixhaven. Thanks for the comment and good luck in those drafts!
My next college semester starts on monday But I enroll in Strixhaven tonight 😤 Cant wait to try out lorehold and prismari! Tho I think Witherbloom is gonna be thr grindy deck of the format I will almost always draft and lose with xD
Eh in quick draft it's a toss up. I think that the bots don't draft decks, they just draft the "best" card, so it's picking up on what bots undervalue and take advantage of that.
So far strixhaven has not been nice to me... 1-2 in bo3 and 0-3 and currently 0-2 in bo1... But I like the colleges. Have played lorehold, witherbloom and quandrix so far.
I think this set will definitely take some getting used to. I always try to hold my salt until I do 5 or so drafts. Sometimes ya just get unlucky in a few - and that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!

That is awesome - knowing my family there'd be someone who gets really salty about their luck...but well worth it to draft! haha

Just got out of the prerelease for a commander league, prismari is amazing in a sealed format, blew up the whole pod
How do you play commander prerelease?
My Lgs is running a league, we are in the second to last week of it that started on the prerelease night
Great guide! Fingers crossed for silverquill in draft 🤞
I'm starting this today, video next week
We appreciate u bro! Ty for sharing the knowledge with us.
My next college semester starts on monday
But I enroll in Strixhaven tonight 😤

Good luck! Starting out everyone seems low on Lorehold so I’d guess that’ll be the most open until we see how good aggro is.
@@MountainManMagic After some experience, Lorehold seems great to me :)
Nice video, Thx. I’ve a question : do we have to read the signals during a quick draft because it is bots or is it useless ?
Eh in quick draft it's a toss up. I think that the bots don't draft decks, they just draft the "best" card, so it's picking up on what bots undervalue and take advantage of that.
I used a sign in blood to deal the last 2 points of damage to my opponent for the win in a sealed match
Thanks man!
You’re very welcome :)
thank you!

@@MountainManMagic looking forward to your draft videos.
What does "try to stay open to maximize card quality" mean?
I think it means to take the first rare you open and then force that color.
thnx
You're welcome!
Late to the party. It helped me greatly to draft

I wish - just hard to work in with my schedule at the moment. I really do appreciate the comment though :)
