You have to remember these were two different time periods within the show, man. Emily was a young child, played by a young Amber Tamblyn when she first came on the show in the mid 90s. When she returned, she was a young woman played by Natalia Livingston, who was in her late 20s herself. So, Emily was at two different phases of her life. Here, she was an adult, young adult, but still an adult, capable of making her own decisions. So, to me, it’s not creepy.
I don’t care how old The actress was… the character was like 21-22 yrs old… it was gross that Sonny would ever allow himself to even go there with his kids Aunt !!!
Agree! This is ridiculous Sonny being with Emily. There is no way those 2 should be together in any way. Go find someone your own age, Sonny, You don't have to "bed" every woman you see & Emily who is suppose to be so smart where are your brains during this fiasco?
I am writing this comment in 2025 looking back at Nicholas and Emily relations makes me sad for Emily and I still cannot believe Tyler Christopher has passed away of cardiac issues. At 50, Did he have heart problems before the death? I am 9 yrs older than he was and it breaks my heart because he was a talented actor and the only Casadine I liked. How did he end up with Courtney? If there is someone in the comment section who can answer these questions please feel free to replyi have been out of the GH loop for awhile now.
I was very disappointed in Jason here.....yes he knew Sonny had issues but he also knew that the only person Sonny would hurt would be himself.... his main fear I think was when Sonny had his episodes....the only good thing about what was to come later down was the fact that they were able to diagnose his bipolar disorder.
Emily liked sonny so much here that she started to have dreams about sonny a lot of them to Emily talks to liz about things liz was right nikoles and Emily got back together in 2006 the only difference was that the writers killed off Emily in the middle of 2007
I'm sorry, but the dual fuckery of Courtney and Sonny on top of previous fuckeries proves that evil is real and is hell bent on destroying anything that remotely looks like goodness or true love! Those two helped to waste what time Emily had left with Nikolas. Matter of fact if Nikolas hadn't taken up with Courtney he would still be with Emily therefore no engagement party and no opportunity for Emily to be killed. At least not by psycho Diego. It would've also helped if Nik wasn't so easily seduced by any ol chick who came along as well.
2005 is when Guza and Pratt were writing the Mob as heroes. They also wrote the Quartermaine's and monsters, stupid, cartoonish. The beginning of the end of GH nearly for me (now I just mostly ignore 2005). How they wrote AJ was criminal! Sonny and Jason were MOBSTERS. There's an epi from 2005 where Michael suggest killing someone who got in a person's way (ala Sonny). If Sonny and Jason were black and in a gang doing crime and murder, they would NEVER be written as heroes.
