Excellent video on fundamentals of helmet sizing! Would have been great if you could have covered basics of the various head shapes as well, intermediate oval, oval and round etc, and how to determine what shape one’s head is. I feel that’s an important criteria too while buying a helmet. Overall, finding your videos extremely informative…thank you!

With visors same thing / method applies like I mentioned in the video

& the one with visor is XXL

As mentioned with visors or without visors helmet size is standard and it should have no issues even if helmet is with or without visor

Which is safest and best helmet full face or moduler?
What if someone has head size of 56.5 cm (22.24inchs) then should they go for small helmets or medium onces?
Ideally S size but again need to wear the small for min 15-20 mins and then decide
I need helmet size guidance.
My head size measures about 58cm (not more).
I bought an MT Thunder 3 ( in M size as recommended).
I tried it out for a ride of about half an hour, and the helmet hurts my head like it's getting crushed. my ear lobes hurt too.
The L size feels comfortable, but I am worried it may start giving wind noise at high speeds if the fit becomes lost with time. ( the shopkeepers said so).
I wore the M size helmet at home for about 20 minutes , just sitting and definitely the head feels tight, and the cheeks feel a lot of pressure.
Should I bear with the pain and the helmet will breakin after a few wears, or shall I go for the L size.
I always wear the balaclava, and that makes my head size exact 58.
Though am not going to use in future that way, I noticed that when I test wore my completely in-ear jabra earbuds with M size, it was very difficult to remove the helmet and my ear hurt as the buds moved. L size felt normal in this test.
Hey bro. My head size is 55 but when I tried Mt hummer it was crushing my head, my cheeks. It was unbearable.
I wanted to buy thunder 3 but they had only L size. I tried that as well which I felt to loose. Then I took a gamble and booked thunder 3 M size. As Tiger sir mentioned there are some cases where you may have chubby cheeks. I have a pair of chubby cheeks. So, while booking that I kept that thing mind.
Frankly speaking when I received the helmet it was perfect. No wind noise no headache, no ear pains. Yeah there was still some pain in cheeks after riding for 5kms. But it is bearable. So, the fact of the matter is consider everything while buying a helmet. If you have a slightly loose helmet you can manage it by wearing bandana etc. But a super tight helmet will he a killer. On long runs you won't be able to ride. Before accident the helmet may kill by suffocation and irritation.
@@shubhamde3205 thanks Bro. I ended up buying the M size. It has loosened up a bit from its initial shape. suffocation is not as much now. if it doesn't loosen further I will have someone else in the family use it and go for L size. Thanks for your detailed message.

This is the worst way of measuring...for example my size was 54cm while measuring this way but while i tried the helmet the size came 58-59 cm so before actually trying yourself dont order online

Mai in coming days Yamaha ka aerox 155 lene ka plan kar raha hu to kya aap kindly aek video bana sakte hai ki aerox ke bootspace me mt ka ya axor smk ka ya koi bhi aek ache certified helmet me se konsa fit aayega usme jo kafi safe bhi ho. Kyuki bohot log bata rahe hai ki aerox ka bootspace bada hone ke wavajut usme fullface helmet fit nahi aata. Plus mujhe aapke videos dekh kar aur power sports ke website me dekh kar mt ka blade2 aur thunder 4sv kafi acha laga hai but am not sure wo aerox ke boot me fit ayega ya nahi. So if you can kindly make a video for all the aerox owners jo aek acha helmet kharidna chahte hai unke liye aek video bana sake it'll be very much helpful.

Shell sizes are same in most of the sizes
To make it fit and snug padding vary from size to size
I went to buy 2xl axor venomous..they just changed 2XL pad in L size helmet..they told shell size is same in all helmets..just pad size differs
From L to 2XL is not recommended
