On September the 13th, 1916, Roald Dahl was born in Llandaff, Cardiff. An extraordinary novelist, poet, screenwriter, fighter pilot and medical inventor, he is of course best remembered for his phizz-whizzingly gloriumptious children's stories. To celebrate Roald Dahl day, then, here's an extract from a railway safety guide he (and illustrator Quentin Blake) wrote for chiddlers, which explains where grown-ups are going wrong...
