That is a perfect example of how a good SW fan movie should be: It's smart, it's funny, creative and there is no freakin jedis or siths doing lightsaber fighting! Actors, locations, costumes, props and effects are all professiaonal, and it's overreaching by trying to recreate the SW epic. Great work!
Including Jedi and/or Sith and/or other force users of some kind does not automatically degrade a fan film's quality. It's all about, as you said, the writing, story and the props and actors.
@@Vandicoup It does, though. Whenever epic characters are involved, creators get hooked on the flashy elements, to the detriment of writing. They'll sacrifice the narrative plot so that the fighting can occur.
Has anyone noticed the very last radio call, as they were walking away to try and find Luke? It was a possible "A disturbance in the Mos Eisley Cantina!
Though I.M.P.S. and Bucketheads were both nice, the reality is that Langley Productions should be good sports and let the people that are behind this parody keep this style of presentation. Moreover, different planets of the Galactic Empire should be represented, and even other factions can have their own sides be shown in episodes as well. My idea for the series would be as follows, though...first they go with the people that were before the Clone Troopers, as well as the occasional pro-Galactic Republic droids, then the CIS/Separatist Droids, then the Storm Troopers, as shown in this video, then the Rebels, then the First Order Troopers, and then the New Republic Insurgents, with maybe some other independent groups, like, Mandalorians, and the occasional bounty hunter, and independent systems, and their versions of law enforcement, thrown in for good measure.
So did the Canadians go to hoth and the first trooper of the video was just like I hate this sno I think ill go too tatooine were the sand is rough and course" lol
"All suspects are guilty. PERIOD. Otherwise they wouldn't be suspect, then would they?"
LMAO!
I wonder why can't U.S. be like that lol
Damn right!
He's got a point there

@@syaondri I agree, it explains a few things that happened while Luke was gone!

Classic. Still holds up over 20 years later.
I don't care what anyone says, this is cannon
George Lucas also says this canon
@@alchemical_moon7653 So that is how the Imperial 'police' system works...
You spelled Canon wrong
If it’s one thing, it’s competent. ✨
This was better than all the Disney Star Wars combined
Awesome explanation to what REALLY happened when Luke was away.
I agree 100%. Did anyone pay attention to the last radio call before the ending credits?
I thought his name was Duke... 😏
8 years later...still watching this😎
I watched it repeatedly and I always find it hilarious.
9 for me
13 years for me. lol
Such a perfect blending of Cops and Star Wars.
I definetly agree. Whoever made this video is very good at it and are very professional.
Kevin Rubio.
Did the Obi Wan Kenobi series low key canonize TROOPS? I mean Beru was stashing weapons at the Lars homestead...
There has never been a fan film that has topped this one, in my opinion.
5:26 is so accurate... I almost forgot it was a skit.
The first 60 seconds is the best, and also better than the last ten years of Disney star wars put together!!!
So brilliant, and totally canon to boot. Love these guys!
Canadian stormtroopers 😂 I can tell by the accents 😂 this is perfect nice job 👌
More like Fargo: ua-cam.com/video/fTABDbxvEUU/v-deo.htmlsi=nZhKtluliQnVPXo6
"HK-888, check out a possible disturbance at Mos-Eisly Cantina." "Hk-888, roger that control."
When Han shot Greedo
Has anyone noticed the very last radio call, as they were walking away to try and find Luke?
It was a possible "A disturbance in the Mos Eisley Cantina!
This is canon, I don't care what anyone says
Even George Lucas himself said this was considered canon
“The important thing now is we find their nephew….ugh duke.” 😂
Can't believe its been over 25 years. Wow.
Imagine the mind trick scene with the troopers at something similar to a speed trap, and them being confused after telling Luke and Ben, “Move along.”
They were holding Tom Servo lmao
Mike Nelson's gonna be pissed
I noticed that too. Should have been kidnapping 🤷🏼♂️🤓😎✌🏻
My dad was a cop too and I was a toy cop. A cop is a cop no matter what galaxy.
"Hey, did she say something about buying some stolen droids?"
I would love to see the "special" edition of this.
Blasters replaced with radios and there will be a cgi creature blocking the screen in 1/4 of the shots.
@@mrbloodmuffins ...not to mention that the Jawa would shoot first! 😏
"Honestly, this is my favorite Star Wars parody!
This is 100% canon.
Actually, even George Lucas himself liked this so much, he considered it canon
This is pure genius
How is does this video not have more likes? 😂
Because there is a higher quality version with 1.4 million hits.
Stormtroopers from Fargo, yaah?
I consider this canon
“If we have to come out here again then it becomes OUR problem.”

YOU JUST HAD TO GO AND NERD EVERYTHING UP, DIDN’T YOU?
I still want more of these :)
Such a Canuck officer
I thought it was a Minnesota accent.
Funny how this is still better than disney's star wars
More care was put in to this than anything Disney/Lucasfilm has put out in the last 10 years
These aren't the droids we're looking for, we're don't need to so their identification, Make more videos
I love how it shows the stormtroopers just being the law
This is too good
This is actually rather convincing
Which of the Troops is Gary? 🤔
Probably the one who pointed his blaster at the jawa who wouldn't stop talking
The scout troopers with Grogu is this kinda
Still playing. Saw this back in 2004.
Domestic Dispute on a Moisture Farm...
@Glego97 you need to find more of them
The guy who made this also wrote the Tag and Bink comic's
Tom Servo at 2:05
Mike must have called the stormtroopers when he realized Tom was missing
I call 🐂💩 @3:18 - they always miss!!
Yep, seems like an accurate representation of some American law enforcement.
@deonflowers Agreed.

Was that a Tom Servo????? lol
Tom managed to escape the Satellite of Love?
Imp. droid? That was Tom Servo! 😮The charge should have been kidnapping!🤷🏼♂️🤓😎✌🏻
3:06 Welp, this looks a little too familiar . . .
Uh-oh
This is the most original thing on UA-cam to date. And it has 1k likes, Jesus where did we go wrong
🤣🤣🤣🤣
It would’ve been funnier if the storm troopers missed them by shooting in their General Direction;)
that fuckin funny
Omg the robot is mike
Actually, it's Tom Servo
Lol, reminds me of Fargo.
Sure wish the LEO's in California would act like this!?!.
These Troops are all Northerners....
I am cops strompooers them song
@Disney - Just make this show!
Hahahahahaha
totally unrealistic. the troops actually made a clean shot.
In space they can shoot straight but in the desert they can't see shit.
They could be Grand Admiral Thrawn's troops
Trooper brutality
I wonder how much the Jawas could get for Tom Servo.
Storm Troopers from Canada, eh
That's a Minnesota accent.
The stormtroopers are incert I blame Ant Peru.
