- This video is about a new Fly over bridge in Lusaka Zambia.
I decided to personally go and film it at Night and during daytime.
This Bridge is the first of it's Kind in the History of Zambia.

Nice to see Lusaka developing. Here in Kenya we call them overpasses there I can see you call them bridges. How many such bridges are there in Lusaka currently?
The full name is Fly-over bridge. He is making a mistake by just calling them bridges.
Initially Lusaka had 3 fly over bridges from the time I was young in the early eighties. These 3 fly over bridges were all leading into or out of the LCBD - Lusaka central business district. Or you could say town centre. They were connected to 3 of the busiest roads into the LCBD which are: Great east road, independence avenue and church road. So the fly over bridges are named after these roads: independence avenue fly over, church road fly over and great east fly over. These bridges are parallel to each other and were built primarily to fly over a busy rail line.
As the population grew in Lusaka, with all the businesses in and around town centre - the LCBD became a nightmare for anyone that worked in town or did any business transaction there. Parking was a headache and it still is. So a lot of businesses begun to set up their offices and shops away from Town centre and into or closer to residential areas. Then came the phenomenon of shopping malls. Lusaka has now become like the capital of shopping malls in Africa. I have a few Kenyan friends who were shocked by the number of shopping malls in Lusaka. So now we have build up of traffic in these new business areas.
In comes the PF government that is building these fly over bridges above busy roundabouts.
So the new ones are: makeni fly over bridge, arcades fly over bridge, munali fly over.
In a nutshell: we have 3 from the past and 3 current ones, six all together. I suspect a seventh one is being done in longacres.

We have more Indians in Zambia than any other National and we are used it's just skin colour difference we are one.Some of us were born and found Indians already living in Zambia.
