One thing that I loved when I played WoT were realistic battles events made by the community. You basically made a predetermined layout of vehicles based on how many tanks each army had at X time, and you could only use them with realistic modules. I recall playing a match with a Panther, where the team was 1 Tiger, 3 Panthers and a mix of Pz IV (modules based on the ausf. G) and StuG III G. It was usually unbalanced, given how WoT works, but still funny.

Hey @ConeOfArk, I love your content but Miss your historical stuff, your warthunder video are are nice but I love just hearing the long stories of old prototypes
The Chi-To SP is my new favorite TD. Since i got it, my WTR has gone up at least by 1 every 2 days. And it's NOT that it is overpowered, i have no problem at all facing it as an enemy, it's actually not hard to fight at all because it has weak points big as mountains. Buuut, lots of people have massive trouble with the thick and uniform forward casemate armor. Combined with decent gun, decent maneuverability, decent camo, decent spotrange, it literally has everything at an "ok" level, making it a very pleasant TD to play. Of course, as i enjoyed it, i put captured exhaust along with bond optics and bond vents on it. So now it's stealthy and has max+ spotrange. More reliable accuracy would be nice, but then it probably would start getting a bit OP for tier 7. And dear gods, first 2 weeks i had it, before people had learned to deal with it, absolute rampage. Still, even now, with some trick driving to keep people from hitting your weak spots, it's only a few days ago that i blocked over 3 thousand damage with it. And half of that was from tier 9! And after mounting the captured exhaust on it, 3 times now, i've remained unseen whole matches and still dont plenty damage, sometimes even at surprisingly close range. Not perfect, far from it even, but damn enjoyable to play.
The Chi-to so isn’t completely made up, more like incorrectly named and modeled, since it’s based on a design of casemate variant of the Chi-ri, the only issue with ingame variant is that there are some incorrect feature on the model, an incorrect name, and an incorrect gun (the only gun it was planned to mount is the same gun as the Chi-to without the autoloader)
played em all...if you've got the german casemate td line ground out then I wouldn't bother....bit better speed and better reload on t9,10 big guns is about it really....
Now that I know the Ka-To could have been in the game instead I am disappointed. I love turreted TD's like the SU130pm (which is a fake tank too, although it just looks like a upgunned version of the SU100P spg prototype)
@@kotikvtanke2349 Well it might have been a real proposal, maybe even a desperate one to save the project from getting cancelled, but it is still a paper tank at best. I still would have preferred if they had brought the SU100P with its 100mm gun as a Tier VII premium.
@@jdmheart4727 I'd prefer the SU-100P as Tier 7 in the tech tree as part of a new Soviet turret TD branch. Along with the SU-152P at Tier 9. Put a fake "SU-122P" or "SU-107P" at Tier 8, and cap the line off at Tier 10 with the Object 120 Taran.
Personally, I don’t entirely mind fake tanks with realistic design ideas applied to them, notably the somewhat German doctrine/theory applied to the Japanese TD line here (superstructure on an existing chassis to mount a larger gun), especially considering that Japan was an island nation, so a mobile gun in this fashion for defense doesn’t sound too outlandish to me.
Type 3 Ho-Ni III Slight error in model->muzzle device lacking. Chi-Ro/Ji-Ro likely was not built. Although give or take some wooden mockups at best were built. For the Type-4 Chi-To SP Some rumors claim it was something planned to be built. For the Chi-Ri II being converted to Ho-Ri Although a wooden mock up existed. Personally i like to say that the tank did exist but only the gun is whats left of what was ment. I also do believe there were rumors of the 88 and 120mm. But i take those with large grains of salt. Since those rumors could have happened within the decades passed down or people lying to make their book make more money but who really knows at this point. Since its definitely not documented.
The Ho Ri picture in the garage was the stock version as I haven't unlocked the line on my personal account. Not sure if the top gun has the proper muzzle device
I'm not a gamer.... but I get FAKE tank Friday...Maybe there should be a class of tanks in the style of whatever country and time. But... I miss the almost tanks or the prototypes that never went anywhere. I think the T34M and the DB panther.. I think they would be a great subject. Maybe they could be war gamer tanks ? . I wish there was software to tryout these tanks virtually... Anyway ... Thanks for the channel and I hope you haven't given up on real tanks.
Have NOT played a single second of "World of Tanks" or "War Thunder" or whatever the most popular game is out there now. I build plastic model kits of armored vehicles and have noticed the influx of various designs of vehicles - regardless of country - onto the plastic model building industry. Must admit, plenty of vehicles that have NEVER seen before, so whenever I dust off all my reference materials trying to re-educate myself on some of these vehicles, am finding out that they do not nor ever existed!! Get it - nice to see the "paper panzers" or those very rare vehicles and such in scale plastic and are fun to build, as long as there is some type of evidence that they existed or were on the drawing board, but some of these other vehicles..... So, now I know WHY there are a plethora of make-believe vehicles suddenly flooding the plastic model building market - silly games are dictating now. Well, in defense of these silly games - at least they are creating something interesting to try and learn about and build.
as someone who organized historical (kinda) loadout battles among friends, it is always a shame that WG doesn't really give an F about history education
@@nookbandit that ain't a good excuse when they keep advertising the game as "historically accurate" and then you see half of their tanks are fake, some are just fantasy.
@@saladdressing2781 doesn't matter. False advertising is still false advertising, no excuse. If you can't keep your words, don't say it in the first place. So your argument of lacking vehicles to fill the tech tree make no sense too.
@@quocvinhnguyen2063 Never said anything about "World of WW2 Tanks". When I played the first tier 10 I ever got was the M48. That already defeats your "muh WW2 tanks" argument. As for the false advertising yes they do say "Historically accurate" but you need to take it with a grain of salt and stop getting so pressed over it. It's a fucking advertisement. You don't go to McDonalds and say "I'm lovin it". No they won't go into late cold war and modern tanks because a large part of the community will get pissed and probably leave. Hull down meta is killing the game and guess what most MBTs after the 60's were made for? tl;dr: Stop taking advertisements as face value or else you will be disappointed with literally everything.
Despite all the issues with the Parent company Gaijin, this is why i will ALWAYS prefer WarThunder, well that and the playstyle, at least untill i see what june 16th has in-store
Not that it matters now but in that Sherman Hunter video, anything coming from the Sensha Blog/ Seon Eun-Ae/ Mai_Waffentrager should be securitized. They have made some false claims about where they get the information regarding Japanese tanks from. A lot of the information, pictures, and articles they pass as their own research comes from the Japan Center for Asian Historical Records or JACAR.
What do I think ? That I sincerely hope the new tank game a German development company is wirking on comes to fruition which is far more realistic then WOT.
Wargaming love to take the piss out of players , make the new lines fast and manoeuvrable , give them fantasy guns but keep the old lines like the UK and USA TD's slow and often hideously outclassed
I get really annoyed with Wargaming. They claim that they use historic vehicles in their games but then they go about introducing fake ones that never existed, be it concept/on paper or actually built. I’m ok with them using paper designs but the fact that they make stuff up and call it real gets on my nerves. I try looking for these designs and the only source is Wargaming itself
They do at least provide a link to the ones with some kind of documentation, be it a drawing, planning paper, or a full on blueprint, but most of their tanks by now aren't real or are plausible designs that probably never left their designers head
They're going to have to make a couple of made up tanks to make it competitive in their power crept game. Otherwise it'd be cr*p and no one would play it it'd be a waste of time for everyone
why make realistic tanks when you can make a fake premium tanks and get quick money? I hate the WG scum so much... stopped playing 2 years ago and never felt better about my choice

my man can you spread some light on the YOH series in WOT?
God Save ConeofArc!
On blitz the t9 is flipped with the t10
Could you pls do a video about the yoh tanks
WoT is such a wacky silly game, I love it.
The Chi-to so isn’t completely made up, more like incorrectly named and modeled, since it’s based on a design of casemate variant of the Chi-ri, the only issue with ingame variant is that there are some incorrect feature on the model, an incorrect name, and an incorrect gun (the only gun it was planned to mount is the same gun as the Chi-to without the autoloader)
japamse be like we wish it would be real sadly we dont even have the steel for that
Can u make a video on wot blitz Chinese tech tree BC I wanna know that they r real or not ?
Why no type 60 or other atgm carriers? Are they in a different category or something. Idk, I don’t play WOTs.
They were hoping for advertisement deal with Cheetos.
I haven't thought of wot being realistic since many years. Which is fine, they would run out of things to add otherwise.
The Japanese made tanks out of cheetos? No wonder they lost!
基本上, WOT的坦克60%都是"完全的造假"連製造計畫都沒有,藍圖也沒有,改造計畫也沒有,就依據研發報告說:希望OOXX能夠更好,就直接打造出來不存在的東西賣
played em all...if you've got the german casemate td line ground out then I wouldn't bother....bit better speed and better reload on t9,10 big guns is about it really....
Now that I know the Ka-To could have been in the game instead I am disappointed. I love turreted TD's like the SU130pm (which is a fake tank too, although it just looks like a upgunned version of the SU100P spg prototype)
It isn't quite fake, i heard that it's some sort of SU-100P upgunning proposal, but never existed outside of projects.
Type 3 Ho-Ni III
Slight error in model->muzzle device lacking.
Chi-Ro/Ji-Ro likely was not built.
Although give or take some wooden mockups at best were built.
For the
Type-4 Chi-To SP
Some rumors claim it was something planned to be built.
For the Chi-Ri II being converted to Ho-Ri
Although a wooden mock up existed.
Thanks
I'm not a gamer.... but I get FAKE tank Friday...Maybe there should be a class of tanks in the style of whatever country and time.
But... I miss the almost tanks or the prototypes that never went anywhere. I think the T34M and the DB panther.. I think they would be a great subject. Maybe they could be war gamer tanks ? . I wish there was software to tryout these tanks virtually... Anyway ... Thanks for the channel and I hope you haven't given up on real tanks.
What does this two syllable name mean?
Italian tank destroyers next time pls
as someone who organized historical (kinda) loadout battles among friends, it is always a shame that WG doesn't really give an F about history education
I think that’s why it’s called a game
@@nookbandit that ain't a good excuse when they keep advertising the game as "historically accurate" and then you see half of their tanks are fake, some are just fantasy.
@@quocvinhnguyen2063 Well, then the game would get boring cause everything except a few lines would end at like tier 7
@@saladdressing2781 doesn't matter. False advertising is still false advertising, no excuse. If you can't keep your words, don't say it in the first place.
Beside, the game is call "World of Tanks" not "World of WW2 Tanks", WG could easily expand the tech tree to late Cold War and Modern day.
Ka-To asi nepřidali z důvodu že jim to nesedělo do linie, otevřená nástavba proti zavřeným.
Ayo Ho-ni be sus
Despite all the issues with the Parent company Gaijin, this is why i will ALWAYS prefer WarThunder, well that and the playstyle, at least untill i see what june 16th has in-store
ooh do the czech tanks nexts
Not that it matters now but in that Sherman Hunter video, anything coming from the Sensha Blog/ Seon Eun-Ae/ Mai_Waffentrager should be securitized. They have made some false claims about where they get the information regarding Japanese tanks from. A lot of the information, pictures, and articles they pass as their own research comes from the Japan Center for Asian Historical Records or JACAR.
I’m still waiting for nuke launching tanks in the game 😤
I like how the questiong isn't "are they fake?" but "how fake are they" lol
What do I think ? That I sincerely hope the new tank game a German development company is wirking on comes to fruition which is far more realistic then WOT.
Wargaming love to take the piss out of players , make the new lines fast and manoeuvrable , give them fantasy guns but keep the old lines like the UK and USA TD's slow and often hideously outclassed
hello
New tanks? Wot Blitz players go brrr
Hey Coneofarc could you do a video about the M4/T26 that Warthunder recently released? I think it could be a good Cursed by Design video
Why do they even make up tanks from paper, and that are that stupidly unrealistic sometimes.
WOWS:How Fake are USSR ships in World of Warships?
So tldr, it’s mostly fake.
They're going to have to make a couple of made up tanks to make it competitive in their power crept game. Otherwise it'd be cr*p and no one would play it it'd be a waste of time for everyone
War gaming: "we mix history and fantasy"
“…whilst passing all of it off as purely history”
Funny how the fakest tank in the line is also the most powerful... wargaming moment
I would like to see a video about Polish tanks, if it is possible to find some data or at least some that are most real.
war gaming is running out of ideas
they didnt use Ka-To because it would have a similar playstyle to the branch
So many fake tanks and status in WOT. Does anyone care to correct all of them?
Probably the first time WoT PC took inspiration from WoT Blitz...
they arent that new
wait nvm this is the console version
Fake?!?! You wanna talk fake?!?!?! 90% of the tanks in world of tanks are fake lol
why make realistic tanks when you can make a fake premium tanks and get quick money? I hate the WG scum so much... stopped playing 2 years ago and never felt better about my choice
Ji-Ro the He-Ro Commanded by Cpt Sum Ting Wong driven by Bang Ding Ow with Ho Lee Fuk as there gunner. /S
fake sushi vending machines
Most of the tank in wot are all fake
Yes
I want a Japanese tank destroyer on console that has a fully traversible torrent
