When editing, do you combine the sound with the image or directly to the camera via bluetooth?

@jozsefdavid5975 nono, i sync them in post. the gopro records the footage and its own sound and the external mic its own separate sound. i pick them both and sync in post, delete or mute the sound of the gopro and it results in gopro footage + external mic sound. hope it helps
