Custom MF-01X hits 76mph(and a curb) - 1st official vid for Poor Boys RC 2024 Speed Run Challenge

- This year's @poorboysrc #speedrunchallenge has been underway for some weeks now. Since I finally got this thing up to a decent speed to start with I figured I'd share. I've been hanging out on the sidelines cheering everyone else on.
This year's chosen chassis is the Tamiya MF-01X. Of the 3 classes, I decided to go all out custom and build my car for the unlimited class. The competition in the Brushed and Brushless classes has been really heated. Still, I like designing and building to my limits sometimes.
I'll do a break down video of the car soon. We're currently a little sick now and speaking to a camera isn't for me right now.

That was exciting to watch! I completely feel your pain, out in the dark, barely able to see the car so far away, all kinds of traffic and stuff going on, just need to get that run... Great speed, buddy! Too bad with the crash, I hope you manage to repair and make improvements, get back at it again soon.
@@madsrcbuggy thanks Mads! It's almost ready to go again. The new light on the car should help this time. I also turned the drag brake completely off as I think it was the cause this time around with a big motor and smaller tires. Here's to the next one!

Seriously though, you've got to find a better place to run, I guarantee you'll do better if you're not looking over your shoulder for traffic all the time... It's nerve wracking.!
