How a simple effect can look so realistic! I love how you also used your graffiti style and not a simple straight letter. Works really well! A cool idea would be this in the background and on top of it abstract forms that construct the letters even better. Well done none the less!

you should do one on a wall and then on a different wall right behind it do it backwards and make it look like a mirror effect.

Doke you got mad skill. That being said I'm saying the following with all the respect I can give.
The portrait looked like two or three different perspectives of water movement. First impression looked like sitting water. The letters D O K E are motionless effects are good. Second impression was splashing or the movement of water effect it
was a little muddled. The splash seemed to be coming from different directions. The third effect or impression was direction of the water flow. The execution on this was not effective. It wasnt a splash, it wasnt still, it didnt have any discernible direction.
Ways to fix this. Imagine dropping steel letters "DOKE" into a bucket of water. How does the water move? How does it flow? What direction does it move? Another way to fix this is to make a still DOKE as if you took an eye dropper spelled it out on a clear glass slide. Then add a single direction of flowing water as the background.

try to do ½ the piece under water while the top of the letters stick up from the water.. lots of ppl have done this, those i remember right now is daim and loomit
