This is not a typical scenario for Flow development. Everything we do in this example can be done inside the Flow, but I personally thing the less unnecessary records we have in run history the easier it is to track it.
I found this around last Christmas and I couldn't find any documentation for it. I finally opened a ticket with Microsoft support to send me some documentation about this feature. The went extra mile and gave me a live demo on this. Now you have it :)
Is there any way I can set the trigger condition and text value format? For example A0432. It shall only triggered when the is A#### (A and 4digit format).
Hey alireza really great.. In my case excel is my input data source Here how can I check/validate field values 1,2,3,4 are the input values from Excel But if received abc /characters/string invalid data instead of number it throws error But by any chance can we validate from the settings page ..?
Hi @@AlirezaAliabadi, i was able to find a solution to that already...now I'm looking on how to automatically load images using the attach media..i need to attach actual photos and not URIs... thanks
This is great but what happens if the trigger is set to run the flow new or udit? use case : user submits the form, systems triggers an email since cost is over $5000 but the user comes back and edits the form again. In my sandbox the system is sending emails a second time :)
@@AlirezaAliabadi I see your point. In my case I am using status field as a trigger. The email works fine when we switch the values on this field. But the issue arises when the user edits the form , changes another field, leaves the status field untouched. The system still triggers an email. My bad if I am confusing lol

That's exactly what is expected. The second form is request for a new run and once the condition is satisfied, the trigger fires.
