Season 4 really got me to ship them and than they didn’t even end up together

I really dont see why gray would complicate carmen’s life, in my opinion carmen wants him in her life

They've grown apart. Gray's morality is... gray. He said it himself. He doesn't regret anything he did for VILE (which might include killing) except hurting Carmen. He's not a good person, not really. Meanwhile, Carmen left the only family she'd ever known because they were bad people. She can't be with somebody, romantically or otherwise, who doesn't share her strong sense of morality, the kind of person Gray calls "an innocent fool". Unless Gray changes (unlikely) I don't see how they can be anything more than lukewarm acquaintances.

Don’t worry, the creators made it this way so the viewers can go on from there and imagine what they want. But on the FANDOMS website their relationship is semi-canon and says that there were implied romantic feelings for Gray and potentially Carmen :)

@@daniraevys6661 It's based on a TV show from the 80's meant to teach kids geography and maths. This reboot it's about Carmen San Diego who was an orphan and was adopted by VILE an school for criminals, but decided to turn into a "good" criminal; so she steals the objects VILE is looking for before they can get it and then returns it.
And in the original show she worked for ACME (it's like the FBI but no one knows about its existence) but thought it was too easy so she decided to become a thief to make thing more complicated for the ACME agents

Even the chef, when he was talking about Carmen [in the episode that V.I.L.E] touches her memories, says that he is her "partner in crime"
I really cried for hours that they ended up separated so suddenly dps from so much time together
I know that the show is not about romance and technically it would be weird that she ended up with someone but these two were Netflix's psychological torture ;((((

Actually I am pretty sure the movie is only about her backstory ( so episodes 1-2) idk for sure but I remember her saying it in an interview. Maybe if we get more in the future.

The way Gray knew since the very beginning that Carmen deserves a better future than being one of VILE's agents. It was so upsetting that they didn't even get to see each other again in the ending. 😢

Season 4’s ending was so rushed it makes me sad and a lil mad tbh. They finished it all in one episode? And it was obvious the two were meant for each other, even if the whole show was supposed to be about a strong female lead who doesn’t need a love interest. It was the last episode cmon! 😔 I like to think they met later on and then started dating tho.
