Groot 2626: Mack LEU CNrG Heil Odyssey Curotto Can Garbage Truck

When the yard this truck is from first when CNG under Republic’s ownership, 6 FLs like this one were bought. Right before the asset swap between WC/Groot and Republic in 2017, 4 of these were sent away and now reside in Minnesota. The two that remain were repainted into Groot colors and have been given to the swing residential drivers, and they go all over so it can be hard to pinpoint a route. I was able to find this driver moving pretty quickly on a cloudy morning which made for good lighting to film, and managed to get a solid video. I hope you all enjoy!

Great video! Glen Ellyn seems to be one of Groot’s coolest contracts…seems like just about everything they own has ran here at least once. For a CNG this had a pretty decent roar on takeoffs. Keep up the great work!

Nice one dude! This driver was very fun to watch, his smooth and speedy operating kept me entertained the whole video. The truck didn’t sound too bad for being CNG and it’s always cool seeing these blue Rehrigs get dumped. I’ll definitely be watching this one again, awesome video!
