  • I recently received the Jang seeder I bought for sowing some of our seeds. Watch this video if you're new to Jang and want a quick introduction into it's workings as I sow a small corn field. Always a fun time at the farm visiting with all the animals too. Thanks for watching.

Great duck shots today. Lordy those geese are a challenge. Seeder looks awesome. Love the commentary as usual. Thanks for sharing. Becky from Kansas City

The geese used to be sweet, now they’re mean. I wonder if they’ll be nice again after breeding season? Time will tell. 😝

I was really hoping to see a video on your corn harvest 🌽 as a result of using your Jang seeder, but I could not find one, unless I’m missing it!

The seeder works great, saves a lot of time. Our little corn plot not so good, too many weeds and grasses must have stunted the growth cause no corn survived. I tilled again the following year and tried again but similar issues we got only 17 stalks but no corn. Last fall I laid landscape tarp to kill the weeds and grass and will try sowing agsin in late May. I’m gonna keep trying till I get it right and get some corn. 🌽

I remember too lol. Simple but genius mechanics. Works very well too, but we'll see when things start to sprout how well the spacing is.

You sir are a SLACKER 🤣😁. You should be planting that corn by hand. Drop a seed sweep your foot to cover it, drop a seed sweep your foot to cover it, MONOTONOUS ain't it. LOL Very Nice 👍👍👍Thank you for sharing. Take care of yourself, be safe, and healthy 🇨🇦

Haha I did sunflower seeds like that last year. We’ll see if my spacing adjustments worked or if I’ll have gaps 😝

We need update videos as to how the corn went

The corn completely failed. This year I’ve laid a tarp trying to kill the grasses and weeds then we’re gonna add some nitrogen rich compost and cross our fingers 🌽

When you put the 14 and the 9 gears on were they extremely tight and hard to get on? Thanks!

I use a 2 row planter from the 1940’s. Some of the best simple machinery was made in our past. I find most, not all, new stuff today is made through a “save money” filter. Which greatly hinders it’s quality and durability.

Very true about most things. The seeder does feel like a quality product and it’s worked very well. I wonder if it’ll last 70 years like yours 😆
