- The War of The Worlds team is so thrilled to announce our first two cast members performing on The Spirit of Man Tour, 2025… For the first time in Martian history, a real-life couple will be performing as the married pair: Max George as Parson Nathaniel and Maisie Smith as Beth.
Jeff said: “Being a couple in real life will add to their on-stage charisma and chemistry. Maisie has such a melodic but powerful voice, which compliments Max’s dramatic and soulful vocals wonderfully."
We hope you enjoy this shortened edit of Max and Maisie singing The Spirit of Man from when they performed at Jeff's studio.

Hubby finally got tickets for this, cos Ticketmaster kept spitting Hubby off the site, so excited, saw this a few years ago and it was brilliant so happy Hubby gets to see this!

I wonder if they'll ever update the cgi. I love this show and the music to bits but it almost feels lazy that they just reuse this slightly dated cgi for every single tour.
I hope it’s time for a repress of 2012 version (a cool variant would be much appreciated) and maybe a boxset of 78 and 2012 original and highlights

Didn’t know anything about these two but this is decent, glad to see the tradition continuing of a brilliant masterpiece of a song. Will be at VIP at the O2, living for it!
