I haven't seen a single group of singers that can come together & create Hits as well as they can individually & still do the exact same moves as they did when they 1st started.
Even with Johnnys antics, I love it. Y'all have to give Bobby a little credit tho. Though he smokes like a chimney, his voice didn't get damaged THAT bad considering. He still is my all time favorite member of new edition. He deserves more credit for what he did in the late 80s to the home again era musically.
It is all a part of the show. You think these guys would stand such a severe deviation if it wasn’t a part of the show. I even show their 2006 tour where Ralph egged on Johnny’s ad libs. Part of the performance.

Brown destroyed himself, and, at one short time, a great career, with cigarettes and Jim Beam. And, don't forget the years when the pipe was hitting Bobby and Whitney simultaneously. Then, to top it off, he had that stroke. Still, it was great to see Ralph Tresvant spark up "Stone Cold Gentleman"!

Wow, AMAZING! Even with the clear damage chain smoking has done to Bobby's voice, he sounds fantastic here. I love New Edition. Wish I saw them when they were promoting "One Love". I wish they had a website where I could see their tour dates. With my tastes in music, heavily concentrated in R&B from 80s and 90s, my friend who is african american even says I'm blacker than him lol. Soul music is amazing. New Jack Swing R&B was HUGE when I was just 5-9 years old and they remind me of the best days of my childhood. I have ALL of these 3 guys' plus NE's discographies on my iphone and put them all on my phone each time I get a new one every 2 years. If It Isn't Love was huge when I was in kindergarten. Amazing.
Their dates are always on ticketmaster and they are always touring, in fact they never stopped touring even when there was no new music. Plus they do tons of shows individually, especially Johnny and BBD.

They tour on a great catalog, a 30 plus year catalog. And they actually did sell some records during the Hot Tonight era around 2006.
