Thank goodness for those 50s westerns where the great golden age screen actors and actresses from the 30s and 40s like Dehaviland, Stanwyck, Crawford and Ladd could still grace us with their amazing talents. Olivia is so good in this... love the music, the beautiful story about the power of love, the acting, the choreography and even the amazing character actors.
Yeah, they were great 👍
Thank you pizza fix for this wonderful film the story line with the great Allan Ladd and son David tore at my heart ❤️ strings. It actually made me cry. The beautiful Olivia De Havilland was as usual superb 🌟
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you.
Just love this wonderful movie, nothing like the old movies they have better story lines to today's stuff... Alan Ladd and Olivia de Havilland play wonderful characters...
Thanks for posting this one.
I have Turner Movie Classics on all day. I've caught wonderful movies I totally forgot about it never saw.
Love Alan Ladd. This is a great film and I think his first Western. Ms. deHaviland did ANYTHING she could which is why we see her into the 1970's in Horror films. All of the ladies of the Golden Age did this...
Thanks for the upload. Even though somewhat predictable, this is a well acted film well worth watching, especially for those of us who were raised on Westerns in the 1950s. And I was surprised to discover that Olivia de Havilland is still alive at 103 years old. Amazing. For those who don't already know, her second cousin was Geoffrey de Havilland the famous aircraft designer of the DH.88 Comet racer, the Mosquito fighter bomber, Tiger Moth, Dragon Rapide, Vampire jet fighter and many others. Thanks again. Wright Flyer, USAF (1968-1972)
Really enjoyed the movie. Love the cast. Thanks for posting. I just wish the director or screenwriters hadn't seen Shane or Gone with the Wind. A couple of those scenes were gnarly.
Much clearer than on my Cable. Eaglegards...
Unless I miss my guess, the movie is COLORIZED. NICE!
Shane with a sheepdog and B.Y.O boy.How did I know what was going to happen next.
