+Curtis Lahr Hey, just curious what you use to edit and if you're happy with it!? I mostly use iMovie but occasionally use that GoPro studio 2.0 for smaller projects.

I started out with Adobe Premiere Elements. At some point I was hired to shoot/edit some talking head segments with multiple cameras and a separate audio track. Elements doesn't provide an easy way to handle that type of project so I switch to Premiere Pro.
Once I started using Premiere Pro I couldn't go back to Elements, I really like it. I'll occasionally do stuff in After Effects like the opening title sequence in this video, but I'm not very good at it.
I've tried to use GoPro Studio on a few smaller projects and find it too clunky, I hate how you first have to transcode the clips you want to edit.
I'm on a PC so I've never used iMovie.

You are such a talented filmographer and diver! Thank you for posting your video. Do you ever see any mining equipment in those old pits? IE Shovels, draglines

Thanks, @ 2:30 you can see a drag bucket or something left over from the mining days. Otherwise lots of pipes presumably for pumping out water, old railway stuff, mine shafts, and other old stuff, nothing small like shovels.

would love to go and check this out! where exactly were you diving at? from mankato so it's a drive up there and want to go give it a shot!

If you plan on making the drive I'd recommend diving any of the sites on the Huntington mine, they're all easy to get to and the visibility is usually the best. You might want to check out Minnesota School of Diving's Fun Dive schedule too mndiving_dot_com , they provide transportation to the site, and a bbq lunch after the dive. They run on Saturday's and some during the week too.

Awesome video Curtis! Looking at making another trip up there tomorrow. I haven't dived that site, any tips on where to go exactly once on the lake?
