I’d like to thank you for simplifying this project for me. I’ve seen several videos and in the 1 minute invested watching this clip was more informative then the others. Oh and yes the fire place looks great I enjoyed the fact you used reclaimed wood. The texture and look of it adds a true spark to the piece. Have a blessed one!
It was 108 degrees outside yesterday where I live. I definitely don't need this, but I'm building something similar with weekend... because at some point it may get cold.
I bought a recessed electric fireplace after I saw yours. Going to install it next week, when you slid it into the hole, did you have to secure it to anything in the hole or it just sits in there all snug and cozy? Thanks!
Your video inspired me to make something for my wife like this. How did you mount the TV? With the pocket behind it? We're doing ours in white shiplap but looks good.
Hi, I'm aware that this video is old, but I love your build and want to attempt a similar one. I wanted to know how the heat escapes from the fireplace as it looks like everything is sealed up.
NEED ADVICE! 🙏🏻 I'm framing a wall in my basement and then building out for a fireplace just like this. My question is - should the framing go completely across the wall behind the fireplace as well, or is it safe to turn off the wall and come out for the fireplace structure and then back to the wall like done in this video. Thanks I'm advance!
I don’t understand. Is that an heater with an LED screen in the front. How does it generate heat? And won’t the heat affect the TV & the wood? Please explain.
Trying to figure out how to direct the heat from the top of my fireplace out so it’s not blowing hot air into the framing. Any suggestions. My electric heater vent is placed on top of my fireplace
Most LED tvs have light strips on the bottom. Make a shelf to protect these from burm out. Had issues with TV devoloping streaks, and one Samsung strip burned out resulting in only half of TV displaying image.

Where did you get the fire place that you put in the project ?
Send plans please thanks

Can this be altered to fit in a corner? I don’t have this much space in my living area.
Very nice. Simple and easy. Thanks for motivation.
Emergency panel for snacks… what a legend. ❤❤❤
I’m food motivated.

I can't believe there is only 42 comments..I LOVE THIS
I wish I could do this myself and save the money to hire someone else to do it

Thank you!
This looks really good
hi, very nice work. do you mind to share what type of fireplace you used?
So inspirational!
🥰
Great job.. I love something like this for my studio apt...
What kind of saw is your small saw and does the guide come with it😊
Great job

Is it operated using gas, and does it need some sort of ventilation?
I was wondering the same thing

This is so fun! I’m so stoked for you! Mine came with pre-drilled holes so I could screw the insert directly into the wood frame.
@@diyhuntress where did you get your fire place ?
Looks amazing
You rock friend ❤❤❤🎉🎉
Thats was a very good painting she made.very good.wow
Very good!
I love your energy lol

Where do you get the tool to cut the wood ? - it is small and handy …
Hello! This is amazing!
Question, do you still have dedicated outlet for the fireplace? Thanks!
We do!
The snacks part made this whole video 😂
Always need snacks.
How much for the full project?
I need a step by step video with names of wood etc
i cant understand why people put the TV on that height its obviously not a viewing angle for the eyes!
@@manuelmendoza7502 not good for the eyes since it causes strain
Wow! amazing ❤
That looks great, how thick is the frame? Like from the wall out??
Beautiful ❤❤❤

Suppose it's gas fire imitation.
for this you deserve a Chikili award

Either would work, it depends on what kind of fireplace I suppose. Maybe easier to frame out so you can remove the fireplace if need be
@@alexb9597 Oh, okay. Thanks for your help!
@@rondoespsych5901 I misread your comment! I’m sorry! You should frame behind the wall as well
Should of put the tv in too like the fire place
I’m watching this in August and it’s anything but “getting cold.”

Can you the name of the tools that you use to build this project please 🔨🔧🪚🔩 very nice 👍👍

My electric heater vent is placed on top of my fireplace
Gurrrllll you've done all this while iv been gone 🤯🤯. Get in the bedroom I'm gonna eat it 😜😅
Fucking DOPE!
Where did you get your fire place ? Can you order any size
Can you please come and do my living room....lol ...I want one
What size is this?
Awesome
We're you experienced in doing this or was it your project?
I hope you added an additional shelf inside to hold weight of a safe.
The fireplace and tv on a same 15amp breaker doesn’t trip?
Excellent that 👌
How did you drill the frame to the wall? Into the studs? What kind of screws/size?

How high did you hang you electric fireplace and tv??? I choose black planks thanks to this and my fireplace arrives tomorrow!!!
Oof… I’d have to measure! Maybe a foot above the fireplace?
What stain did you use

What is that Little saw you used to cut the long pieces?
You are good.
What is the tool you use to cut the 2 x 4
How many 2×4 did you use?
How do you get to the cubby for your entertainment stuff ? Do you have to take the TV off to get to it ?
It’s probably a full mount for the tv where the tv can pull out .

How many of you just fell in love with this chick? LoL
What size of fireplace and width of wall did you do ? ❤
I actually have full plans for this build linked in the description of the full video on my channel. ☺️
How does the heat come out??
Big fan mam❤
Nice
What did you use in the corners?
Corner trim! You can see it in more detail on the log form video on my channel. ☺️
Where to buy led decorative fireplace ?
Total price? If we have all the tools? Nice stuff!
Depends on the cost of lumber. It’s cheaper now than when I built!
@@diyhuntress it's for a rough estimate so we have an idea you don't need to be exact
What it cost to run that fireplace each winter?
Not sure. I haven’t seen a huge difference in our bill, to be honest.
How is the sound on your tv??
Where does the heat come out?
Did you just screw the bottom
Plate down with wood screws
You make plans for anyone if they give you measurements?
The fireplace on,did it make the tv hot or not,
Take the temperature of the wall is too hot 🔥

There was a lot of space in there you could have used as storage
I did - I built a hidden cubby in the back for my electronics and cables! 🙂
🤔💪💪🤵♀️👌👌👌💯
Salut toi
Send me the link
Them vans tho
😏
The bloke definitely did it all but they just edited the video to make like a woman actually did it.
Maybe she made him cups of tea
She's hander than pockets on a shirt
Why not build it so the tv sits flush with the wall? 😂
Because I wanted a cubby behind the tv to hide the Xbox and our router.
Where is the outlet for the TV
Probably near the emergency panel
Where can I find a woman like her?
Where is the "fire" :)
