I've tried a couple of HOM speakers and didn't really think they were anything special and maybe a bit pricey. I can't buy them all. 😅 The ULT Field 7 isn't a bad speaker, but it just doesn't seem justified for the price tag. Everybody has their own preferences, however.

I didnt see in your vids..but did you compare to the Onn Party Speaker Large? I got that Today...but going back..lol...sometimes past 60 percent vol...mostly in bass boost mode it reduces bass like crazy..and sound distored like a MOFO..i knoe most reduce...but this is no bueno IMO...its not bad at low vol tho...better the the 1st gen onn large speaker.. I also sold the JBL PB320...to harsh sounding...IMO i wish i never sold my PB 310...i liked that...but i want a speaker this size or like the Tribit..but a warmer sound..this attic im in sucks....
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Idk man, not always bassy sound is more powerfull, the Sound on Sony I think was more balanced and less noisy with more highs and intrument seperation. I can't figure out to which one would be a better choice, because I like the Sony "Power" ult 2 mode
And this comparison was too short, still can't figure out which one I should go for it if I want for the universal use: indoors, outdoors, parties, etc.
@@mrliberox I will say with some EQ adjustment the Blast 2 can sound pretty good. It just has a more powerful sound than the Sony, which also weakens more so at higher volume. The price of the Sony just makes it impossible for me to recommend over some of these good, much less expensive speakers. Of course everybody has their own preferences and some people will buy Sony just on name brand recognition.
What genre? What copyright free song? Give me something to work with here. 😲 I threw a rock/metal track in here and you rarely ever get that from other channels.

Sony just hasn't solved the ability to deeper bass. Even their Sony Ult Tower 10 bass doesn't compete with the bigger JBL speakers from what I've heard. 😒
Holy crap the ult field 7 annihilates the Tribit except in high volume bassy songs. It’s not even funny how much cleaner the Sony sounds :/ Of course if you only listen to bassy songs forget the Sony, but anything else god damn it’s crushed lol
The fact that this new Tribit cost $800 to get it into nz like dang Tribit i thought it suppose to be cheaper than a freakin JBL, so im either getting the old one or I'll just buy a JBL boombox instead.

The Sony is just decent. You put it in ULT 2 and it loses even more bass. Sony just can't figure out lower, fuller bass output.
