It is a similar situation for me with the Chronic Pain, a Past marred with suffering has left my body struggle and though every day is pain I find it a strange comfort in knowing one day I won't have to battle anymore. Until then, fight I must and fight I will.
This is the first time I've listen to the song and the band. I love songs like Gra, Healing Mountain, Snake Pit Poetry, Helvegen, Anoana. All these songs give me a sense of primal energy and a sense of where I truly belong. But this song is different. It resonates within my being, it energizes and transports me to where I feel my soul belongs. I can't tell you where that is - but I close my eyes when I listen to this, I am no longer in flesh - I am in spirit somewhere else, somewhere powerful and somewhere that is raw and primal! I think i'm reading a bit too into the lyrics, but to me this song feels like a dead man singing this about his corpse that is left in a field to rot for years, constantly asking if he can "go home" and not being able to move on until someone comes along and buries him, then he is finally "home".
