Fibroid Uterus with Nabothian Cysts || Ultrasound || Doppler || Case 267
Clinical Features:
A 41 years old female patient came with lower abdominal pain & menorrhagia.
Ultrasound Features:
- Bulky uterus.
- A well-defined round hypoechoic area at the right posterolateral myometrium of the uterine body.
- Color Doppler shows predominantly peripheral flow. The supplying artery shows moderate impedance flow.
- Tiny well-defined oval anechoic cervical nabothian cyst.
Remember:
Fibroid should have an echogenic thin pseudocapsule which helps differentiate between adenomyosis & fibroid though they may present simultaneously.
