Omg Rachael, this was a much needed conversation. My vacations ever ruined because of the amount of "ENTITLEMENT" seriously, people ordering expensive stuff on the menu Like... really??? Family members and their entitled children who are lazy😡 Please don't get me started.
Hahahah when I say boundaries are so necessary, they are SO necessary
It's wild. My younger brother-in-law lives with us in the United States for university and works 15 hours a week without any family support from Uganda, yet his other siblings ask for money for a new bedroom set and get angry when he says he doesn't have the money. The requests we get from the family are crazy, we need money for private hires, yet we take the bus.. Money for 500k for sodas and fried chicken, yet we cook in the US.
It’s actually insane hahah. I’m SO happy I don’t experience it personally but when she posted her video and the comment section confirmed that it’s many peoples reality, I was like no no nooo
The 500k for chicken made me 😅😅😅😅😅😂😂. They are living in luxury
@@Flourish_today luxury I tell you ! That also got me 😂
Thanks for the insights. Sending love from Sweden.
Ouuu hi ! I still need to come to Sweden !
Hi Rachael…great blog and I see you have great ideas for the development of children and families, I can understand the interest of helping others so to give from the heart ♥️ is what makes your life worth living ❤😊,please keep putting out great content. Thank You and stay blessed 😇.
Thanks for always watching and commenting ! And yes I love children and want to see them set up for greatness, no matter who they are
It happened to me a month ago. Taking them to eat but then only want the expensive meal. Sad!
Good topic Racheal, dont even get me started on this conversation Lmao 😀! Hahaha
Hahaha listen, it can go so many different directions and can be talked about for daaays

In this economy you can't sit in your house & budget with someone else's money...🤯🤯 What they don't realise is the sacrifice you make to give them. The expenses & assistance available is different between home & abroad. The stories you hear on a daily are very painful involving family/friends and money, the inheritance ones are worse! Used to hear my parents on the phone dealing with family..🙄😠 . Being in UG and seeing the pple and what they used the money sent for is so disheartening. The money issues need to be dealt with early & clearly ,be prepared to be ostracised or attacked. Help when & if you can,not caz you're feeling pressured.. AND if you are helped the least you can do is show some appreciation or gratitude better yet have a relationship or even betterer... 😂🙈...pay me back.
👏🏾in 👏🏾this👏🏾economy … listen ! It’s actually wild. For those who can’t help themselves, I totally understand. Those are dependants. But able bodied individuals budgeting on someone else’s money is crazy. And you’re not a direct relative? No no no.
and yes the stories are so disheartening hearing so many people abroad being taken advantage of. It’s wild
Let me first apologize for just now subscribing. I recently met Rachel and she IS really that gorgeous and simp triggering chocolatey seductive and down to earth as she appears.. 🤷🏾 just being real. Thank you for addressing this, you have a rare perspective that qualifies you as an expert on this subject. Speaking of "Dead Aid".. is that synonymous with NGO?.
Hahaha this comment has made me laugh. Thank you! And in regards to dead aid, there's a wonderful book called Dead Aid by Dambisa Moyo. It's in regards to aid from foreign "first world" countries to third world countries and it's short term and long term affects. I haven't read it in over 10 years but it was extremely insightful.
What she is talking about is true. But still some of us don’t want to be mean. It’s just a few parasites in the neighborhood.Others really have challenges that need to be addressed as a group. I do find happiness in helping others people..
I do find happiness in helping other people in case they need it.
Correct,I feel the same and I am not from Uganda.
Me too for sure ! But helping in the more efficient way as possible which is definitely a case by case. And yes some peoples issues need to be handled as a family and no necessary on one person solely
I hate the phrasing why i stoped sending money to Africa are you giving aid or helping out you loved ones back home find a better phrasing & in any case that’s your family if you choose to send or not that’s your choice own that have you send Mexicans or Indians complaining why the stoped sending money to Asia whatever the reasons your family wasn’t brought up right to value money or the people your dealing with in this case
Fair point. Other ethnicities actually do complain lol but still send. Exactly like us. And whether it’s aid or helping family out, every particular situation varies if it’s warranted for sure
