I just adore you. You're so real. I love that you're honest. And I love that you're all over the place sometimes. That's the true spontaneous creative. I can very much relate to having too much stuff. It's actually stealing my peace. So I've been sorting again, but one thing that truly resonated with me today was the fact that I have to get rid of stuff I just flat have too much and in my lifetime I will never use it all up. But what I do want to say I got great ideas from you today. Thank you so much for sharing your gift, your inspiration and your time with us. It's truly looked forward to, and don't worry about pressuring yourself for us. We'll be here whenever you get your videos out❤.

Asemic writing would be a therapeutic way to process things. Then I thought, it would be hilarious if an archeologist, in years to come, found the very journal, with the yellow page and purple flower, filled with asemic writing, and believed they translated it into some grand philosophical statement when really it was jibber-jabber. 😂 Made me laugh out loud. PS: Thank you for your inspiration.

Please do not take this the wrong way, but I LOVED the rambling content today! I love your personality. "It doesn't have to be perfect." But in the next scene, you fix the imperfection. You're professional. You're real. You're hilarious. I had a bad week at work where over 100 employees were laid off. Today's video taught me, inspired me, but most importantly, made me LAUGH. Thank you! 💜

"I'm still here." - I've known the term "junk journal" for years. I've only just really considered making one a few weeks ago. Your videos have been inspiration and muse but also... I really just *didn't* know how to do any of the things you've covered in this video. The same for most of them! I never think about most of the ideas you so easily bring to life and I love learning how to cover book pages, use old envelopes, sew fabric and paper together, or even just ideas for where to add buttons.
I know I'm not the only one. 8 billion people in the world, there are tons of us still learning the basics. And you teach them SO well!

This lifted my spirits tremendously: I am 70 and have developed an intention tremor in my left hand (I’m left-handed). So, now more and more often there are struggles with writing, cutting, gluing, sewing, etc. Your asemic writing struck me immediately 🤦🏼‍♀️! Even though it wasn’t planned for this video, it was a fortuitous lightening bolt of hope for me; I can write without writing!!! Whodda thunk!!! While I will use all your print-masking tips from today, the asemic writing is the treasure I will take to my workroom tonight and will “un-write” for the sheer fun of it. 😊❤

Natash, i can not even begin to describe how much i needed to hear your words on "letting the demons out". I was just sitting at my craft table, crafting and listening to you, and then you said those words.....🥺🤯😮‍💨. I felt my soul exhale. I have been fighting some nasty words that I've really wanted to say to someone, and that just isn't me. I try very hard to not spew my "demons" on anyone. I wasted way too many years living that way. I had my "ah-ha" moment and changed how I spoke to people. I will go out of my way to be kind and spread some love now. But this one instance has really had me fired up. Again, I absolutely can not even begin to tell you how hard your words landed on my demons. I have since put them to bed and moved on from this situation that blackening my heart. Thank you 🙏🏻 thank you 🙏🏻 thank you 🙏🏻. From the depths of my soul, 🙏🏻thank you. Oh, and.....👌🏻another fantastic video full of wonderful inspiration, giggles and laughs, and all the best parts of you! 🥰

I was still there until the end. You made me smile. What most inspired me was the very thing you were unsure about. I liked that you moved with the flow and although it wasn't according to the plan, you let the muse guide you. I don't think you were abandoned at all, just inspired to work with what was on your desk. Thank you.

I'm a fiber artist, first and foremost, so your hack for sewing over yarn is amazing! I have a ridiculous amount of yarn that I've spun and dyed over the years and there is no way I'll ever be able to knit, crochet, weave, etc. it all. Now I can incorporate it into my junk journaling. You are so talented and I really appreciate you for sharing your creative genius with us. Have a great night!

I’m gradually making my way through your videos Natasa, you are such an inspiration to me, I’ve been gathering bits and pieces together for literally years-I’m a frugal person who likes to repurpose things but haven’t got round to making a junk journal yet. I find it hard to just go for it and have to plan everything which really holds me back! The more I watch you, the more I’m inspired to just go for it and I’ve started making tabs and labels to go into my journal. This video has sparked so many ideas and I especially like the sewing tips for the yarn stitching-so clever to thread the yarn through a straw (or piece of penne!) and I’m going to give it a go! I’ve found in the past that I watch a lot of your videos for inspiration but don’t actually get round to the crafting bit so that’s my new resolution to watch your video and then create something from all your amazing ideas. Thank you for your precious time and for sharing all your amazing creativity with us🥰
You also made me laugh a lot when you were talking about Asemic writing and getting it all out!😂

I love the simplicity of these techniques that turn something ordinary into something absolutely over the top fabulous! I had a teacher in middle school that used to get sidetracked all the time when she was teaching. She called it bird watching. She would get off topic then say, "Oops! I'm bird watching again!" I thought it was so funny that I use that term in my classroom now 30 years later. Haha!!! Take care and thank you for all of your marvelous videos. I've learned so much from you! The longer I watch the more I crack up at your commentary!!!! I absolutely love how your personality shines through into your videos!!!

I just recently started taking pages out of a few books I got. So I have TONS of book pages on top of my already existing endless pages 🤦🏻‍♀️ So while watching your video, I pulled out some of the pages from my piles, grabbed some paint, and a brush. Now I’m doing one of my favorite things…painting on book pages! But in a slightly different way than I typically do. Thank you for the inspiration, you are always so inspiring! Even if it’s something we’ve done before, we do so many different things all the time that we can often forget about the things we used to do. Having a reminder or refresher course is never a bad thing. 😊

Loved all of the ideas. My stash of … EVERYTHING …. Needs a place to go and book pages are everywhere. When I have too much, I don’t feel creative because I start to feel like I need to use it up before I get anything else. That mindset squashes my creativity. So having videos like this is super helpful to get the creativity flowing again with my overflow of supplies. Even if I don’t feel creative, this video offer super practical ways to use up overflowing stash and turn it into something useful to embellish other projects.

I'm still here! I believe the first video of yours that I watched was the Junk Mail Envelope Journal, that now has had 1.1 million views! Amazing ❤
It was likely the first junk journal item that I ever made. I was a little frustrated, not used to this type of craft. It took a lot of time and I didn't have much to work with materials wise. From that time, I have made a Christmas journal, 6 denim journals (inspired by 49 dragonflies) and countless pages of coffee dyed papers and collages.
I am always inspired by your videos, your craft is beautiful but truthfully I keep watching because you are genuine, you make me laugh and you make me feel like I can keep going, keep making things even if they aren't exactly how I expected them to turn out.
And for all this, I thank you ❤

You are a very gifted, you are so Blessed. I really enjoy your creations, that fact you create with so much materials that doesn’t need a lot of money. You are a great teacher. Thanks so much, this is from a person who has connected with your humbleness. I grew up very poor, I made things from what ever i found. God Bless you and keep you safe,

You are incredibly hard on yourself, you may not like everything you did but you gave us so many great ideas and I loved this video. It was great to see you put a page together and make what you did not like in the beginning work so well. I am happily still here👋

Hi, Natasa 👋 I've been MIA for a while for no good reason and clicked on this vid because I haven't seen you in what feels like forever and the title caught my eye. I want to make a journal to document something I'm doing right now - something I'm going through - and I have several good sized pamphlets explaining everything that's involved. These are very sturdy materials, and just this morning it occurred to me that any one of them would be an excellent journal base. I had a vague idea of how to create some writing space, but you have absolutely inspired me beyond the simple glued on pieces of paper I had imagined just a few hours ago. I've saved this vid in my "Natasa" file so I can refer back to it in the days and weeks to come. Your timing could not be more perfect! Thanks! Hugs from the southern California desert, MK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
PS, I didn't know that I could "follow" somebody on Amazon, but I can and I am now "following" you! Your book is AMAZING!!

These ideas have definitely inspired me! So often I start to watch a tutorial, realise I don't have the supplies needed and feel defeated before even giving it a go. Thanks so much for sharing your creative ideas with us! ❤ I appreciate your honesty around not liking everything you make too. As a perfectionist I get discouraged when my work doesn't look how I want it to. I think it's easy to be our own biggest critic. I hope your followers comments remind you that so many love your work! 😊

Natasa -- not all of us know how to do this stuff. I continue to draw a GREAT deal of inspiration from each of your videos, even those that you are not very happy with in general. Please don't be so hard on yourself. You have creativity oozing from your very soul, in my opinion. And, your writing is FUN!

Yes I stayed till the very end , I always do you are so adorable and genuine, a breath of fresh creative air. I also purchased your book and went through it thoroughly and will go back to it on my next journal an extra large book to put old papers ,pictures and ephemera from my parents and grandparents ( I am 66) so it's going to be a big project, but one to be shared with the whole family, I'm naming it Our Heritage Journal...born from needing a special place to preserve all of the wondrous history that has been buried in 2 cardboard boxes for far too long. Your book will help a lot and your videos are always inspiring love to you❤😊

I'm still here and I've got to be honest, my first thought was that I won't watch this video BUT I am so glad I did!! You never cease to amaze me Natasa. You always have so much to inspire us. You are wonderful. I could so easily make some of these but would not have thought about using the yarn and sewing on top of it. I also wouldn't have thought of just doodling around the edges etc. So many terrific ideas. Thank you 🌷

I'm still here- all the way to the end!! Although you call it "rambling," I love that we get a peek into your thoughts and that you're honest with what you like and dislike, what inspires you and what doesn't. I feel really validated when you "go with the muse" instead of what you originally planned out in the beginning, because sometimes a creative spark just hits you in the middle of nowhere and it can be so distracting!
