Nice video. You don’t need to use the a/c power for your MacBook. You can use the USBC port. Therefore you don’t waste power by using the inverter.
Actually, the DC ports are also regulated which kinda negates the energy savings. But the adapter for the MacBook DOES convert AC back to DC so yes, there is some extra loss.

Great review. We were teetering on Bluetti and Ankor for a new power station purchase. Hearing multiple reviews by you guys and a few more we went with Bluetti. We stepped up to an AC180. Of course, it didn’t hurt that we took advantage of their 1/3 off price!

How many o how many hours last
Hi and thanks for your vid. I just bought an AC70 for weekend camping trips and you just confirmed that powering a MacBook Air or Pro is no problem. Do you have any idea how long you can operate your Mac laptop with the AC70?
I was considering contacting Bluetti (since I haven't opened up my AC70 yet) and see if I could upgrade to the AC180, but we car camp in a compact SUV (Subaru Forester) and I don't want to take up too much room in it (and have a heavier unit to carry around for me or my wife), so I think the AC70 should more than good for our needs.
Oh glad I saw this, just ordered an AC70 and solar panel kit. Glad it’s not a duffer🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Here is a free piece of advice for your Bluetti (DONT THROW THE BOX OUT!) your going to need it! Shipping weight about 65lbs UPS shipping over $100 your cost - EVEN UNDER WARRANTY! Since nobody can fix it but them (Proprietary parts). Wait till the battery starts failing like a laptop, you know the meter says 95% - 5 hours left, and in 10 minutes it says 6% left charge battery or shut down. Me, Ill just put more gas in but not in near 10 minutes. How much will they charge you to replace that battery that didnt last as long as they said but its just outside the warranty period? You might as well buy a new unit, (If you havent learned your lesson) Ill just put a little fuel stabilizer in the gas, change the oil once a year maybe the air filter, possibly a spark plug every 10 years. It will probably run forever, if not - anybody local can fix it. Good luck with it
