Close up plane spotting at Melbourne is absolutely incredible with a handful of spots giving the public the opportunity to stand around 100 meters away from the aircraft spooling up. The Australian market for aviation has always placed Sydney as the main focus and entry point into Australia. However, over the last decade, Melbourne has really proved itself as a very strong secondary gateway into Australia. The variety of airlines and aircraft in this video should hopefully showcase why.
Without further ado, turn up the volume and enjoy!

The spool up of a Jet engine is arguably the best sound on earth.
Trent 700 spool on the 330’s is up there . RR on the triple 7’s also
True!! It's so much powerfull i like it!
Lexus LFA
agreed, man the 777 and a380 are just so good
Miele vacuum cleaner engines are up there too 👌
1:18 that has to be the best one 🤩
As someone who gets a thrill from watching jet planes take off, this brought me pure joy. Especially listening to it on my car stereo to get an emersive sound.
That is no word of a lie what I am doing right now on my lunch break
The blinking lights on the 787 are so beautiful
A350's RR the best sound for me...
That's so true
@TSC777 yeh. For me it's the vary first clip and the triple 7
A350 uses XWB engines are you dumb?
@@BISHAN.SHACBAAN They’re still RR
Hand made in Britain 😁
Holy damn those GE90s
I could listen to this sound everyday of my life till i die and still not get tired of it.
2:31 that howl
I like that too 👀
I always get goosebumps when I hear the sound of those sweet sweet turbofans!
@saku you aught to visit leeds and bradford airport in west yorkshire uK best spot for a thrill is the spotting mound were a grave yard is and wall sitting because the engines spooling up litrally make the ground vibrate given the sepration splitting the airport border fencing from the view spot good view of the runway inc lear conditions to see aircraft landing or taking off
The goosebumps are when you feel the fear because of jet engine spooling up.
Other people: Noise
Avgeeks: Music🎵😍
What I like about all of them. How it goes from a super high treble sound to this heavy bass within one second. Sooo fucking cool.
The A350-941 RR engines is by far the best. Following is the GE90s and the PWs from the 744F ⚰️. Those two are absolute beauties and always hear them every morning 👀.
I’m an A380 guy, but to hear the 747 start up, you can really hear roar of a Queen
just great!
the best part of a flight!
engineered music to my ears n what an adrenalin rush!!
That singapore airlines A380 tail paint look gorgeous 💯💯
2:20 Damn PW4000s are hot af
1:54 wow that was epic
That singapore 747-400 though ❤❤❤ 1:18
So satisfying the noises of these roaring engines, awesome! Is this a compilation or a video on the same day?
Looks like the same day. You can see the same Emirates tail parked at the gate
@@owmikati usually his videos are not
Mesmerized by your night shots as always... and GE90-115B :) Great catches mate!
Great night plane spotting. You always do a professional job with your videos.
Mindblowing picture quality. And still the 747 sounds the best.
Absolutely wonderful thank you! I do love the spool ups
Loved the night flights ( great to see the cities where planes are going)🌎😊

Wow that is just epic mate. The Title didn't disappoint!!
My word the 747 is just a sound of its own kind..wow
Excellent Video! :)
Muy interesante esta recopilación nocturna, los sonidos impresionantes.
All of the engines sounded beautiful (especially the 744s)
A330 has Trent 700, Trent 7000, PW4000 and GE CF6. The IAE V2500 is on the A320 Family, MD-90 and Embraer C390
Best sound I've ever heard
The sound that triggers wanderlust
Ângulo perfeito e maravilhoso vídeo.💚💛🇧🇷💙✈✈✈💙

I hope my neighbors enjoyed this video as much as I did.
dat A 350 Howl
Super bro
Thank you!
@@HDMelbourneAviation your welcome bro
Nice
Cheers
I love turbos on cars for the same reason. That high pitch sound these planes and the cars make just......makes me tingle 👀 Though planes are on a different level 😂
Cool
love night vids
Glad to hear, plenty more to come!
My favorite is the a340-300 the sound of the cfm56 is amazing
yeah
a340 forever :)))))
Amazing😍
I will forever be a fan of the 747
My most favourite: Trent 700s
Bone chilling howls from the A330 with Trent 700. Never get tired of them! 👍
@@roku_nine you mean bing chilling?
That Singapore Airlines cargo 747 passes over my house, every Wednesday night, like clockwork. Nothing else sounds as good as it does. She’s a loud ‘un 😊
Absolutely awesome mate 💪🏻 ok if we play this out in a studio show? Full on screen Credit, Channel link and shout-out of course 😉 JD
I love song of the pratt & whitney PW4000 😍
Cant wait for the GE9X 🥺
At 1:20. Those PW4000-94's on the Singapore Airlines Cargo 747 has a nice spool up sound.
GE CF6
747 always, the Queen always wins.
Hands down!
She always was for everyone. Some are preserved and even one BA 747 is now going to be a cinema
Personally think the 747 and A350 sounded best.
nuttylicious
Music to my ears (as long as I'm listening from the phone)
Cathey pesific is screaming like crazy
That first A350 with those Trent XWBs set the bar that couldn't be topped. Can't beat a GE90-like spool ups with buzzsaws in the engine afterwards. It's almost not fair 😩
Cebu Pacific aeroplane sound like 🔊 in open place desert 🏜
ge90s are amazing
How fast those engines rev? Love those two beasts of the B 777. 👍👍👍
A question for the experts! Thanks for watching!
A quick Google search says a RR Trent XWB revs at 12,500, each blade produces 900 odd horsepower, and there are 68 blades
@@elsden722 thats freakin massive man...just love it
where is the 2nd 777 again?
The a350 my favorite
Those Trent 900 in that A380 do it for me
Trent XWB sounds stronger than Ge90
Question, what time did you record this around at? Thanks
Still doesn't beat the thunder ⚡⚡⚡⚡😁😁😁
i like of all sound jet engine
GE-90s for me :) but the others are equally "arousing"
1:52. The whale hum on the A330!!!
When I was living next to LHR airport, I could immediately tell a 747 was taking off because it was the only one that made the windows vibrate 😂
Aww it’s a shame barely any 757s fly to australia. I would’ve loved to hear the RB211-535E4 buzzsaw :(
I’m in my Tesla right now having the most fun 😂
When it comes to sheer power nothing can beat the double spool sound of the GE90 in 777.
you dont have ears dont you
@@gasviation9077 yup I am deaf 👍
@@bhargabmishra7804 that's the GE90 for ya XD
Rolls Royce engines can beat GE90 sound.
I missed the F100/F70 with the Rolls-Royce Tay 650/620 engine
Featured all but the best... The Rolls Royce 524
Just one mistake, with Japan airlines u put tokyo - melbourne instead ifvthe other way.
The rest was colossal
2:27 my pc fans when i open a chrome tab
1:14 😲
Hi
1st for me is the cebu pacific a330 rolls royce trent 700 they sound so mean and 2nd is the a350s XWBs
Singapore Airlines Cargo 747 sounds like air raid siren before full throttle.
It does!
@@HDMelbourneAviation I bet its PW4000 engines.
By the way... 1:20 Look at the letter O on Singapore sign.
Roses are red, I don’t like rum
A plane is so loud it broke my eardrum
Hahaha!
What do you call that noise at 2.36
GE spool always gets me
The trip-seven is the world's perfect aircraft. Come at me.
Is it just me, or do airports just have that special kind of smell you would expect?
crazy how of all those, the 747s had the best acceleration.
How about spool down?
Whose recording this?
GE9X?
