I love this channel..You actually use the things u make and I can see growth,half these channels tell you to do these things but don't see where they use and their hair growth don't add up!
Totally agree. I don't take advice from anyone who shows no clear evidence that it is working for them. As is said, the proof is ALWAYS in the puddin.

It feels like we are doing the family hair time together, I am in an interracial relationship and my husband has curly hair but the longer it gets the heavier it is and the more it sheds ( especially since he's on medications )
I've been working in his hair since I've met him and he loves it. He especially loves the natural elements.

What about wearing my hair in a bun for 8 weeks? & I can spray my hair with my henna spray and oil my scalp every other night. But also do intense mask every wash day and protein treatments. What do you think? I only like my hair in a bun.
You can wear a bun, just make sure you change the location of the bun so you dont get damage from tension.

I would love to join but I can't get the bars in time for the challenge as I live in the South Pacific but I will get some neem and bentonite clay, and I have fenugreek and moringa so I'll be using that instead. Sounds great I'll be joining. I need to use up powders that I have. I saw your video after I had cleaned my scalp with acv infused with rosemary/horsetail herbs w/ water then clarified with carols daughter clear sulfate free deep cleaning shampoo. This works great for grey hair. your video inspired me to thaw out my aloe vera frozen cubes and my frozen avacado/infused oil bar. I added alma and brahmi powders. Applied to freshly washed hair, heating cap for about 20-30 min, maybe more. Rinsed out with with aussie moist 2 minute conditioner. still had a small amount of grit but not bothered by it and no irritation or specks coming out :-) Practically no tangles-due to oil conditioner rinse. Applied aloe vera gel and topped with (mixed ) oils infused with rosemary/horsetail (trying to use up this abundant stash of dried herbs). Braids in now.
My hair feels strong in a natural way. Your video stopped me from using Aphogee protein, which I think is great and love but it does have a "different" feel. To avoid grit I think I should let dry powders sit in mix awhile before use so they can "blend" in with liquid base and not sit on top. I'll also experiment with yogurt or coconut milk as a base. Use 3/4 cup Bentonite clay 1/4 cup hibiscus

Yes this will help with scalp buildup, this remove dirt and buildup from your hair.

I’ve been ordering the Gloss Bar question; is there a difference between the 3 bars???
So the Moringa/Amla is very conditioning, the Amla/Fenugreek/Neem has conditioning and strengthening properties/ the Henna gloss bar is more strengthening but still moisturizing!

I wonder if there are any recipes out there that have alternatives to coconut milk. I know it provides a good thickening agent. But I’m allergic to coconut oil & any other oil derived from it such as Babassu oil (horrible experience I went through to find out 😭). But I know there’s goat milk but unsure hmm. I’ll have to research it. I can’t wait to get into these DIY hair products tho. 🙌🏾😸
Sorry about your bad experience with babassu oil, just wanted to note that though you may be allergic to babassu oil, it is not derived from coconut oil. Babassu oil is derived from the babassu palm tree. It sounds like you may be allergic to that "nut" type of seed. I recommend greek yogurt as a great alternative.
@@NowIAmNappy Oh when I googled it I thought years ago I read it was a similar oil to coconut oil so I went based off of that. Since the similar properties coincide w/ one another.

Curly Proverbz is having more of a henna challenge. Its Ayurvedic but I would prefer this one so I don't have to deal with dying my grays orange.
I don’t think these two challenges can’t run at the same time. It’s completely normal to have challenges going on at the same time, even having the same core ingredients or rules. Hell ever winter 100+ natural hair you tubers run a protective style challenge, literally every year. Your comment makes it sound like 2 great things serving 2 different communities can’t happen. So your comment is bad timing, objectively speaking ❤️
