Glad to see some new vail content, as a newer player on standalone quest 3 i can say im lovin this game and its my new go to shooter in vr and im looking forward to seeing the game grow and get bigger...i wish i had just a bit more skill in this game so i could join a team, i usually do pretty good and hold my own, but not sure that i can play at the level of some of these vets, lol...i know when i see some familiar names on the opposing team like yours, ikarii, von wolf, etc im in for an uphill battle, lol...
Yeah lmao there’s a decent amount of competitive players. But hey, it took me less than 2 months of playing VR to get on a competitive team. I just used the techniques in my fundamentals video from about a year ago.
@G4IJIN_VAIL i think part of my issue is having more time to invest, im a contractor and i usually work 6 sometimes 7 days a week and am only able to play for a couple hours in the evenings if im not too beat from work, lol...i have noticed i do tend to play worse when im tired after a long day...
@@StewieDoesntExist I feel that! I also work on my feet, but nothing quite as physically taxing as what you do. Sometimes coming home to stay on my feet and play a scrim is exhausting, and usually I do worse in practice than i do in tourney games because of it 😂

I have a breachers video based on aim practice! I definitely do not recommend a stock in Breachers. Speed really matters in Breachers and in Vail, but a stock is a bit more useful in Vail. I’d really only recommend one for mil-sim type games like Onward or Ghosts of Tabor where you have to hit targets at very long range. And for context, of the 20 players that were at Vail’s last LAN, 2 of them used gun stocks.
I haven’t had anything but flawless performance for months and I wouldn’t know how to test that because I just have one PC. My first recommendation would be to lower render resolution. Also, I have a 3080, so not too much better. But your CPU could be a bottleneck. IIRC, UE5 sometimes has trouble with older CPUs. Also, there’s a lot of really knowledgeable people in the discord and I’m sure some would be willing to help you troubleshoot!

Lets look at Pico there is no Pico 5 coming they wont make any money competing against the Quest 3 they are going after Apple. Meta already pulled back the sells for 2023 since they are not selling. It is strange just before Quest 3 came out all were saying how slow it is. Quest 3 comes out and its alive? Nothing has changed. You don't lose 26 billion and then just bounce back. Its not dead but no one is rushing to make games. VR has always been up and down and right now its really down. Every one just had to have the 3D TV huh. Nvidia 3d Drivers for years all gone. Quest 3 is nice at 2064 x 2208 vs Quest 2 1832 x 1920. That is not huge its so small of a jump. Theres just no thing new out there so Quest 3 looks is the best bet but they lost so much money and HAVE to make it back. They say they are losing money with the Quest 3 as no not even breaking even that alone is a red flag
