2:32 the whole point of Pokemon Rogue is to adapt to the randomness of the game instead of using trainer docs as a crutch to win fights. But, you do you.
shut up nerd, its not a crutch. eventually if you play enough you can learn this info anyways. you're just complaining about artificial difficulty not being enforced.
Great video, but what's the point of dealing with random and then nuzlocking if your just going to use save states? It does kinda defeat the purpose Of it all.
3:00 Machop uses Low sweep and decreases speed, "AI is good at this game" 26:46 The same AI, "ultimate trainer uses Roost Lugia full hp at first turn XDDD"
Different AI sets exist for different trainers and pokemon. A Gym leader might be programmed to use a speed altering move to go first. A legendary might just pick a random move.
It's the first time, that I watch one of your videos and I realized that other than (SilphSpectre or FlygonHG) you just describe exactly what you do/what is visible on screen. Why not explain your overall strategy for fights, or what risks you are taking? Some insights on your thought-process would be way more interesting and by explaining the feelings you had, when something unexpected, 'tragic' happened etc. you could create some tension. Like this it is.. well.. a bit repetativ. In my point of view, there is no use in telling me what I am seeing on screen anyway over the hole video. Thats why I stopped watching at min. 11 :/ Hope that feedback helps
overall pretty unclean tbh, a few unlucky crits would have taken the run easily. would have to look into it another time, but i think also just a few more progs of extra effects on the enemy attacks, or less extra effects on your moves could also completely change the run. overall i sadly feel that this run was more of a showcase of incredible luck than it was a showcase of skill, not that you played particularly bad, but you also didnt play exceptionally well. impressive in its own right, but not my cup of tea
after you beat the run for the first time the house in the man hub opens op and it lets you customize up to gen 8 and add the options of mega or dynamax, Sorry unbound but This or exceeded got my picks for ROTY
Yes! Also includes fairly typing. When you unlock the expansion room you see here at the end it adds all pokemon up to gen 8 if you want, including mega evolutions.
I've been playing this and have done and manged to do 2 solo runs and q doubles run so far I'm planning on trying to do a mono type run or something next
Youre correct, it was strange.. Hex's damage is doubled if pokemon it is used on has a status condition such as sleep. It is also a gen 5 move- meaning it is modded in and may be glitchy. The first hex Lugia was asleep via rest. The second hex, Lugia was asleep via hypnosis. Dmg variance is a thing however that was too big a difference to be merely that. One has to assume the doubled power from hex via using it on a poke with status was not triggered the first time. Maybe due to the sleep being from rest. You'll have to ask someone with more knowledge of the coding itself within the game.
Hi I’m new here enjoying these videos, but I’m having issues with figuring out what I need to download that would allow me to run these rom hacks. If you could help me that would be much appreciated.
Definitely invalidates the run. Im sorry but, using a save state to learn moves and pokemon is literally no different than using a save state until you win lol.
What's your favorite Gen 3 Pokemon?
flygon
Haryama
Mudkip
The starter Blazakin (I suck at spelling)
Mine is for sure Mudpkip.
Who’s gonna tell him that Rhydon doesn’t get the defense boost from eviolite until the national dex mode is unlocked
2:32 the whole point of Pokemon Rogue is to adapt to the randomness of the game instead of using trainer docs as a crutch to win fights. But, you do you.
Exactly. That makes no sense at all. It’s suppose to be random
shut up nerd, its not a crutch. eventually if you play enough you can learn this info anyways. you're just complaining about artificial difficulty not being enforced.
ok you were a bit unclear - you should have said *save states*
that is way different.
using known sets as a guide is not cheesing in any sense tho
agreed. what's the point of calling it hardcore if you're gaining an advantage with save states
@@DkKobaADV it really is but ok
Great video, but what's the point of dealing with random and then nuzlocking if your just going to use save states?
It does kinda defeat the purpose
Of it all.

Although the competition is strong, I have to give my vote to brother Ludicolo, the sole representative of the Water/Grass typing
It is such a great pokemon to use, and that typing is soooo good. I just don’t like the goofy design x) based answer regardless.
Yeah its a great mon when its not crit by Glacia's Blizzard
I liked it, Breaks the monotony of nuzlocke runs!
"Houndoor is best choice" "I have to sack someone" Houndour dead.
This mod is a ton of fun. I've been grinding through the mono type achievements
Pokabbie is pretty frigging cracked at making rom hacks!

I love this ROM hack! It's a wonderful challenge, and I'm glad so many people are finding it!

Great gameplay and commentary sir!
you should try it on hard, that's where the "fun" begins
If you still take suggestions do ultimate fusions either only with fusions, all 3v3’s or only non fusions could be fun to watch
For the algorithm
QotD - my brother Dusclops and Dusknoir

Sorry unbound but This or exceeded got my picks for ROTY
I'm gonna be playing this for sure! I love rogue-likes
How did you get the Pokelink to work for Emerald Rouge??
Fav gen 3 poke? Gotta go with my boy Rayquaza! As for non-legendary, I’d say Wailord, love that big balloon of a poke
Flygon is not just gen 3 but my all time favorite, also lady gardevoir too
I see a lot of items and moves from later gens here. Does this game include the phys/spec split from gen 4?
Yes! Also includes fairly typing.
When you unlock the expansion room you see here at the end it adds all pokemon up to gen 8 if you want, including mega evolutions.
don't play this game if you're gonna cheese it with save states
Where did the Murkrow come from?
I'm interested in a rainbow run of yours, you played pretty well.
"I try to rest but hit myself" haha
Can you play this in mobile emulator?
I've been playing this and have done and manged to do 2 solo runs and q doubles run so far I'm planning on trying to do a mono type run or something next
How did you manage to show your pokemon right after you catch them. I have to manualy do it and somtimes i forget it. Its realy anoying.
I love breloom, tropeus, and septiell.
I just beat my first play through it was SO satisfying. Best rom hack ever made!
Why did the second hex basically one shot after a first hit that only did like 60%?
Youre correct, it was strange..
Hex's damage is doubled if pokemon it is used on has a status condition such as sleep. It is also a gen 5 move- meaning it is modded in and may be glitchy.
The first hex Lugia was asleep via rest.

You'll have to ask someone with more knowledge of the coding itself within the game.
Lugia has multiscale as an ability. If its full hp it only takes Half dmg from any incoming attack.
@@sinny5404 nope. Its just multiscale working as intended
Ahh right! Hadn't considered Multiscale! Thanks for clarifying :)
I love this stuff but is it possible to transfer them into main games or home?
save states still randomizes gym battles unless you saved in the battle LOL
Hi I’m new here enjoying these videos, but I’m having issues with figuring out what I need to download that would allow me to run these rom hacks. If you could help me that would be much appreciated.
Nice
Shiny Flygon is my baby 👍🏼
spheel gotta be my favorit
I didn't get any shiny karp after beating the game, thought I did get a shiny sableye in the safari zone
Run it back turbo!!
Breloom all time favorite Pokémon
You actualy dont need to teach hm's in this game, any pokemon knows them all when you press "A"
Using the savestates invalidates the run, sorry.
Let him be LMAO save states differentiate opponents teams so he's wasting he's time 😂😂
ILUMISE WAS AT 69 AT HYDRO PUMP KINGDRA USED HYDRO PUMP HAHA NICE
There's a current glitch where if you have all of the quest log missions complete it only reads as 98%. Any1 else have this problem?
Ask the discord server for this mod, that have helped me out a lot with questions like this!
Trainer docs ruined it
