I think they said they weren’t redoing the soundtrack, at least with the original composer, so the original soundtrack by Jim Dooley should be pretty accurate to the music in the remastered version!
I've never played this, but I'm looking forward to finally trying it out. I still remember the concept art floating around the internet and causing everyone to speculate about this game.

If it were first party, I would disagree since they are very honest with how their stuff will look (it's always as good as the trailer or better, with them), but given this is 3rd party, there's always the chance for deceptive video advertisement. Princess Peach Showtime, for instance, has a lot of performance issues. I didn't play it, just saying this based on the reviews it got
It makes sense why the Clock Tower boss is VERY different in this remake, since the original was based mostly for the motion control gimmick of the Wii Remote
i was skeptical about the new graphics and atmosphere at first but i'm happy that they're still very unique anyway, so both the original and the remake can be enjoyable as separate works with a special atmosphere

As someone who was obsessed with epic mickey as a kid, this is making me so happy seeing it still getting love and attention. I have a whole Oswald themed room in my house because this game had such a big impact on my life as a child

Thank goodness, from what I played in the demo the Switch version of Epic isn’t sloppily handled like many other Switch ports. Might want to recommend keeping it on the TV however for best quality.

The original Epic Mickey was one of the first games I got for the Wii and had alot of fun playing the original Epic Mickey so I'm excited to get to try out a remake of the original game early with new outfits and updated graphics!

A story idea I've had for some time: Following the events of the first Epic Mickey game, Mickey vowed that no other Toon would continue to suffer the same fate as Oswald--not if he could do anything about it. He started tracking down lost Toons, offering them sanctuary while making sure that the company bigwigs would not be allowed to use said Toons without consent. ... That's actually how Sora finally got in to Smash--in exchange for Mickey's blessing, Master Hand gave the mouse access to a particular world linked to a game playable on a Nintendo console, enabling Mickey to rescue a trio of Toons (and their creator too) who had long been trapped within an ink-stained nightmare.
@@shanerpressley everything was way too bright, the visual effect on paintable objects looked uglier, both painting and thinning objects made them fade out/in white instead of the green/blue you see here, the thinner pools look better than trailer 1, and thinning and painting objects has the proper one chunk at a time system that wasnt present in trailer one and would have made certain sections pretty awkward to do if not implemented. of the top of my head
Since the remake seems to be a success, wouldn’t it be better to remake the second part, but with the necessary changes to make it more successful than its predecessor? That way, Warren Spector would have enough time in his schedule to develop the long-awaited third (and final) instalment (as he envisioned “Epic Mickey” as a trilogy), giving him and the saga the recognition it deserves. And that Disney sees that Oswald has all the enormous potential to be a great, exploitable character for the company. That they revive the project of creating an animated series about Oswald, that there are attractions of him in the parks, that he participates in the “Kingdom Hearts” saga and a long etcetera.
