One of my favorite boss fights of all time is Asgore Dreemurr from undertale. I love everything from his cool design and character, the music that plays during it, and especially the story and dialogue. Asgore truly does not want to fight you, and he does not want to win the fight. Him destroying your mercy button is the most impressive example i've seen where the game uses something related to its gameplay in order to add to the narrative of the game. He removes the mercy button as he does not believe he deserves mercy, which i find incredibly compelling. He could have easily destroyed the fight button in order to not die but he did the opposite. A truly amazing boss fight which is not talked about nearly enough
I was literally coming here to say that. The best part to me, is that you can definitely infer who Asgore is to Toriel at this point (there's been hints) but not only does Asgore's theme immediately connect him to her, it tells you instantly what kind of ox-man, king he is. In his mind, he's protecting what he loves - his people and his home; even if it's breaking his heart to do it. Just like his formerwife did before you convinced her to let you pass (or..before you did something unspeakable).
Gabriel from Ultrakill in both acts has always stuck with me just the fact that he starts as this honourable angel warrior who becomes enraged at your victory over him, only for him to realize that you're the only thing that's really challenged him, which causes him to love fighting you, and i cannot wait to see what happens in act 3
Speaking of surprises in boss fights, watching the health bar go past its normal limit during the second stage of TOTK's final boss filled me with fear like nothing else.
Demon King Ganondorf is hands-down the best final boss in Zelda, and also one of the best bosses in any game I've played. Demon Dragon is basically just Dark Beast Ganon if it was good, because while both are heavily cinematic and basically impossible to lose, fighting a giant dragon while riding a smaller dragon in the skies above Hyrule is significantly cooler than shooting a giant pig with a bow in Hyrule Field. Also, I was severely underequipped going into the fight, thereby turning it into feeling like a Soulsborne boss instead of a Zelda boss.
I love the mantis lords! I was stuck on them for a while (cause im shit at games) but theyre such a rewarding fight. once you figure out their attack patterns you can get them down easily but I dont think them not being the hardest takes away from it at all
Glad this is in universal agreement. Still shocked how everyone just so happened to be talking about hollow knight the moment I picked it up 2 years ago.
I know this one's a given but Absolute Radiance from hollow knight. Just everything that led up to that point + your original background. Just chef's kiss.
The final boss fight of Omori is something that I was not prepared for at all. That shit destroyed, put me back together and then did it again. the symbolism in physically fighting the past version of yourself to move on is something that will forever stick with me.
What an INCREDIBLE video, you and everyone who worked on this truly knocked it out of the park! The editing is fantastic and each section was so fascinating. Hearing how much love and appreciation you all have for these games was such a wonderful thing to listen to. Thank you for letting me design the screen title. This was one of the coolest commissions I got to work on that allowed me to be an absolute nerd over my own favorite game of all time :)
This is genuinely my favourite bizly video, you could tell that there was so much love and effort put into it. It's actually so enjoyable and each cameo (I love the inclusion of other CCs to explain the different factors that make a boss fight good using their own gaming anecdotes btw) made me smile just as much as the last! I was trying to sleep to this video but I honestly kept picking it up to watch the screen every 5 minutes because I could just tell that whatever was on screen was something I had to see. And the editing didn't disappoint!!! I'm so sleep deprived that I don't have the vocabulary to describe how good it is but make no mistake - this is actually the best bizly video I've seen and it deserves way more views than it already has
i love when people making a commentary or analysis video include the perspectives of other people. it adds a lot to the conversation you make with such strongly opinionated topics, additionally with them being ur bros it makes it feel very personal. you clearly have so much to say about video games and im always eager to hear more. love ur vids bebo!! keep up the great work :3
I love video games but I’m not the most knowledgeable. I figured having everybody share some love while providing different insight/perspectives it’d make this a true banger. Appreciate you!!
I'm so happy I watch Bizly, the editing is genuinely some of the best on UA-cam. Not only that but the way he plays/runs ttrpgs is some of the best shizz ever, Rand is art
For the narrative the one that resonated with me the most is Sif's fight in DS/DSR the way the fight makes you feel like the bad guy at the half way point when you realize he just trying to protect his owner's grave hits different and had me shedding a tear
As someone who loves the idea of content creation and expressing your feelings toward niche things, I genuinely think you have an amazing channel. The amount of work in your scripts and editing is awesome and it makes me think that anyone (including me) can just talk about the things they love in confidence and have doing it.
The final boss of ori and the will of the wisps is my favorite boss I’ve fought. She’s a 100 foot owl that hatched deformed with dead parents. And was pushed away from the rest of her species because of her monstrous appearance. She grew up alone fending for herself and ended up being bitter and cruel. The fight is hard but fair, and combines the two core elements of the game being the smooth platforming and snappy combat in the final boss to make it really feel like a test of all your skills. You fight her on the ground in the first phase, then there’s a chase sequence in the middle to test your platforming, and the last phase she bit by bit destroys the entire arena, leaving you to do the last third of the boss fight entirely in the air. By this time in the game you’ve accumulated a wide variety of movement abilities that you need to utilize constantly to quickly maneuver around the bosses barrage of attacks while dealing your own. And if you make a single mistake you fall to your death. When you finally kill her she uses the last of her strength to fly back to the dried out remains of her parents and dies crying under their wings. The music for the entire sequence is also great, oris theme slowly works it’s way into the music as you’re getting close to finishing the fight, it overpowers the bosses theme as you overpower the boss. This comment is already really long and I couldn’t even begin to cover all the nuisances and story connections that the game subtly builds up for this boss. I highly recommend the game to anyone who hasn’t played it. (But not really the first game, just the sequel. The first has a terrible save system and feels lifeless by comparison)
@@Nichrysalis oh it definitely does 100%. But I've tried recommending the series to people and they end up quitting the first game because of the saving and combat systems. So now I typically just tell people they should play the second game because that way they won't drop the series entirely over problems that the sequel fixes
every video is better than the last, this was absolutely delightful to watch because the editing is top tier and everyone clearly cares so much for this. onto my list of favourite videos ever keep up the awesome work bizly will be watching again
The boss fight that left the longest impression on me has to either be the mantis lords/sisters of battle or the radiance from hollow knight. For the mantis lords, they are one of the only bosses in the game that gives you a “challenge” option and they are the only boss where you are warned how difficult it’s going to be, with an npc recommending that you get a weapon upgrade. For the radiance, the fact that you need to do a checklist of stuff never specified to be able to fight a secret boss that you can’t even fight in the boss rush mode until you’ve 112% the game let such an incredible impact
Mantis lords is defff a top tier fight. And dung eater has so many good elements. I think all of hollow knights bosses have a lot of story implications
Pure vessel was always my favorite as it destroyed me so hard I had to actually get good at the combat though thankfully it made me get so much better that the pantheon of hallownest wasn't absurdly difficult as after unlocking abs rad to train against I beat it the very next time I attempted it. Hollow knight has so many great bosses though with fights like grey prince zote, nkg, or radiance all offering wildly different types of challenge as well
Simone from NieR:Automata is probably my all time favorite boss fight. The build up, the horrifying imagery, the arena, the lore implications: all of this comes together to craft this masterpiece of a battle. It’s also one of the first moments in the game that introduces the game’s themes of humanity and existentialism in such a compelling way. And the cherry on top of this sundae of perfection, is the soundtrack. This fight has one of the greatest soundtracks in gaming history. It’s so tragic in its messaging, but so grand and epic in its delivery. The Simone fight is utterly flawless.
The thing he described with killing the Abyss Watchers is the EXACT thing that happened to me, I think Dark Souls 3 is my favorite game ever, and I think it’s very close to what a perfect game could be. Especially the final boss, the feeling you get when you hear that “plin plin plon” in his 2nd phase is UNMATCHED. Literally every time I hear it the memories from the entire series come flooding back, and when you realize that this boss is the culmination of all the people who have linked the fire, including you, it HITS. I don’t think anything will ever match that…
I couldn't agree more with soul of cinder and I think its incredible that the second phase was a showdown with basically the first boss from dark souls 1. I think its the best "final boss" because it gave alot of the topics Bizly touched on and cranked them up
@@bizlychannelYT Weird that you included some of the best bosses in gaming in this video when you HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED THEM. Go push yourself and experience dark souls 3. Also... like others have said you gotta go grab those dlcs
King Minos from Ultrakill. Not only a fun and challenging boss fight, but a boss fight with great lore and backstory that the game gives you if you find even before ever fighting him. And in life, Minos was a generous king who was a good person. But the people he fought for are dead. And now he wants revenge on the things that destroyed humanity. (It makes more sense if you play Ultrakill)
I'm not gonna lie, the final boss fight in DMC3 always hits me so hard. I grew up with the franchise so i do adore it but the fact that you're chasing your brother through this entire tower, his pursuit for power and your will to save humanity, both of you teaming up together only to be hit with the fact you have to fight each other in the end with the most beautiful rendidtion of the main theme. Bro brings me to tears, and the fact that Dante in the end still wants to save him... RAAAAAAAAHHHHH
the boss fight for me is 100% the final fight in little nightmares II. I don't really know how to explain everything I like about it, but something about using a mechanic that was previously used to communicate with your friend, to stun and lead them away as an enemy. Love it so much.
Orphan of Kos. The story build up as well as the environment which is previous to the bossfight all lend well to the greasy ass eldrich abomination of kos and his mama. His fight is also the most difficult and has on record the most screams during a bossfight
Totk's final fight was mindblowing. It wasn't neccessarily difficult, but the way the story ties up at that moment and the magnitude of the final moments really made the game feel amazing
For real. One of my favorite moments in video games is seeing Ganondorf’s healthbar expanding to the edge of the screen simply because of the pure fear I felt in that moment
On my first play through, I went down to the final fight with no sunflowers, and only 2 hits worth of life because I was already gloom damaged. It took like 20 tries to beat the first phase, and my mind was blown when his healthbar almost went offscreen. It took about 40 total deaths and it was the most fun I’ve ever had in a game, they improved a lot more since BOTW
As a non-gamer who only knows all these games through Let’s Plays, this genuinely entertained me. I absolutely ADORE content like this. Amazing job Bizly!
Can’t describe the feeling of beating the Nameless king in dark souls 3 after a couple of weeks of dying… I jumped and cheered so hard ! What a sense of achievement!!
havent left a comment before but you quickly became one of my favorite youtubers to sit down and listen to. I love your editing style and your production quality is very reflective of the effort you put in. Def deserve more subs, keep up the good work!
I fucking LOVE spamton neo, it's such a fucking kinda out of nowhere secret fight, it's hard, it's chaotic, the music is my number 1 most played spotify song 3 years running, it's so fucking good
Microdosing on playing ultrakill (I don’t have a good pc to run it but I’ve played the game before) by rewatching this entire video. Noticing the section on scale the background is the lust level of ultrakill- which if you don’t know (spoilers) leads up to the corpse of king Minos boss. A massive guy you have to shoot in the eyes and hands. And then we cut to dead space. Fantastic video
One of my favorite bosses narratively has to be Von Karma from the first Ace Attorney. I know it’s not like a traditional fighting boss type game, but it gets me invested every time and that ending is so good because of how well it ties it all together and how rewarding it is to defeat him.
I really enjoyed the Darth Vader fight from Jedi: Fallen Order. The whole concept of you simply not being able to defeat him was amazing. It just made the whole game seem so much more meaningful, as you realize that, no matter how powerful you got, you weren't even close to winning.
Awesome video, I especially related to the music section seeing how I have been greatly impacted by the mood and feel a certain song can give off at the right moment This is not a “boss fight” but I resonated more to the ending of RDR where you work for your freedom and then in the end have it all be taken away from those you worked for, betrayed, then later have someone impacted by it take revenge. It really left an impression to me and brings me to tears when I reach that end and the final dual that comes to it.
I am glad you briefly touched on the more deeper messages or the things people feel and get out of the souls games. They are so much more than just "Hehehe hard game" "Git gud". And while the memes are funny, they actually do it a huge disservice.
I tried DS3 PvP for the first time ever (never intentionally invaded, but I want to 100% the game and farming covenant items is miserable) It is the most broken and toxic online gaming I've had in a looooong time, reminds me of laggy people in CoD in 2010. Souls games are so beautifully crafted and filled with so much wonder and detail. It felt so odd to associate such negativity with the game. It doesn't help that people have weird hacks since the game is 8 years old lol
for me, the boss that makes me feel, is ds3's lord of cinder. its not the hardest fight, and its not the fan favorite of many, but when the 1st phase music fades into gwyns meloncoly theme, it reminds me of the struggle. the pain of the first trys, the determination of getting though the challenges, and the feeling of accomplishment. I will forever remember this boss.
Fatalis from Monster Hunter: World has to be one of my favorite boss fights of all time, and after watching this video I feel like he hits just about all of the elements mentioned. There isn’t really all _too_ much in terms of dialogue, but the overall lack of dialogue in and of itself showcases the gravity of the situation. In terms of narrative, you are fighting a dragon who is spoken about like a legend, a nightmare, a _god_ - something much greater than anything you’ve faced this far. He has incinerated an entire kingdom with ease and now it’s up to you to stop him before he decides to wreak havoc again. *Countless* lives are riding on your victory, in a fight that calls upon just about everything you’ve been through up until this point, the culmination of your journey. Fatalis pulls out plenty of surprises throughout the fight, unleashing new devastating moves with every phase. The fight is _very_ challenging since you’re fighting to kill him within the time limit while you’re just trying to survive _and_ you’re fighting to break his horns before phase 3 so he doesn’t get even _stronger_ than before, but I rarely felt that the fight was difficult in a way that was unfair. The battle tests your skills and your gear in a fair but devastating way. In terms of stage, you fight him in the scorched ruins of a castle in a kingdom he burnt to the ground, showcasing his immense power and the potential stakes of the battle. But the stage isn’t only cool, it’s crucial to the fight. Littered around the stage are ballistae and cannons, siege weapons with limited ammo that you can use to damage Fatalis and knock him down or bind him for a brief time with special ballista ammo you only get _two_ of. There are destroyed pillars scattered across the area that can be used to block some of his devastating fire attacks, there are various ledges that you can jump off of to mount him to perform your aerial attacks. Between each phase he unleashes a massive blast of flame that you can only survive by hiding behind specific objects, and when you finally unlock the dragonator, a limited use pair of massive drills that deal massive damage to Fatalis, you don’t get to aim them, you have to get Fatalis to move into their path. As a whole, you’re required to take control of the stage in order to beat Fatalis, taking note of your cover, your resources, and the positioning of both you _and_ Fatalis, making the stage a vital part of the fight. Although you’ve fought much larger monsters before, the _true_ scale of Fatalis lies not in his size (though he is pretty damn big), but in the scale of his power. Fatalis’s massive fire attacks as he moves between his phases engulf the entire stage and _beyond_, tearing apart wood and stone and turning the very steel you hide behind red hot as it melts before your very eyes. Those watching a distance away from the camp can see Fatalis’s flames devouring the entire area as he floats in the air without even flying, held aloft by the sheer power of his flame. In terms of design, Fatalis is one of the most dragon-looking dragons in all of monster hunter, but the solid simplicity of his design also shows that there is no silly gimmick, and this is a _grave_ battle. His appearance and his movements do well to show Fatalis’s malice, since he isn’t just some beast: Fatalis is intelligent, and he *hates* humanity, so much so that he melts the armor of fallen hunters onto his chest in mockery of their own hunting, something that he _actually does_ once he reaches his third phase and his chest glows red-hot with flame. And the music… Fatalis’s introduction and his first phase evoke a feeling of pure terror, choirs calling out in horror at the hellish power of Fatalis, the destruction he has caused, and the many lives he has ended. At first, the battle is given a tone of terror and almost hopelessness - if Fatalis is so powerful, so _horrifying_ how can you possibly face him and live, much less defeat him? But once you reach the 2nd phase, the music shifts. Though the music still evokes the horrifying hatred and power of Fatalis, the music also begins to grow heroic, egging you on and calling upon the memories of your journey with leitmotifs from the game as well as previous Monster Hunter titles. The stakes have not really changed. You’re still fighting Fatalis, but you’re not just some bothersome insect for him to burn to ash anymore. He’s taking you seriously now. He is hurting. You aren’t just annoying Fatalis anymore - this is a battle. His 3rd phase continues with the same music… until you use the dragonator. When you release that dragonator and score that devastating hit on Fatalis, badly wounding him and knocking him down, the music cuts out, and new song starts playing. The main theme. Not the main theme of Monster Hunter: World, or the main theme of the Iceborne expansion. But the main theme Of the very First Monster Hunter. The track rises and begins blasting heroically, egging on your victory and calling for you to give everything you’ve got to finish the fight and defeat the black dragon of nightmare. At this point in the fight, you might not have many chances left, you might be running out of time or resources, but the music tells you that now is not the moment to stop. You can defeat Fatalis. You can win. Now is your time - go be a hero. And when you finally beat him, and that special rendition of the quest complete _finally_ announces your victory… My God. What an amazing fucking boss.
The mixture of physical (almost slapstick??) comedy and traditional comedy within Bizlys videos are definitely what keep drawing me back. I adore video essays, but the additional editing and time put into these videos are what make me excited for his uploads- i love storytelling in video essays, and even though their jokes done through editing, the storytelling element is always there to aid his point (ie the edited scenes in puppet history). I can see he’s definitely embracing that side of his content creation more and I think it’s only going to get better- Keep it up, bizly! (Eating mud)
viper from titanfall2 is my favorite boss fight of all time, the challenge of his constant pummeling with rockets from above and his mocking through the little updates he sends over radio, and after all that you feel even a little bad just because he was so badass.
I really feel like you can see the care in this video, and through this, it helps me understand why i like some bosses so much, and i feel like i can see a lot of these elements in the trickster, between the story elements behind the lost friend, the music choices, and the surprise you get every time he does what he wants, plus the insane design behind the trickster and how it shows he has a split mind.
The song that plays during the “Yhorm the Giant” bossfight gave me chills whenever i figured out his story, his anger, his grief… the song amplified during his second phase, and he started fighting more savagely… an underwhelming boss fight made good solely due to the music and story…
Probably my favorite boss fight in all of gaming is Ameno-Sagiri from Persona 4. He is such a unique take on the “you fight god” final boss troupe in JRPGs, and he’s the perfect culmination of everything up to that point. He is essentially a being that exists to represent and act upon the collective desire of humanity, and he claims that humanity desires the fog that hides the truth and keeps them comfortably ignorant, and through the power of the connections the player has made throughout the game, you effectively beat him by changing his mind about what humanity desires with your own sheer will and the will of your friends. And you desire truth. Freakin’ genius writing, it’s stuck with me to this day
*Gotcha Force* is such an underrated hidden gem. Loved that game as a kid, I have no clue why we even got it, felt like it just appeared one day but was a ton of fun.
AWESOME VIDEO!!!!! every single one of these vids is so entertaining from beginning to end, it's so clear how much work you've been puttin in bebo. crossover event of the century with all these guests, but the greatest thing about these vids for me is seeing how much you care about all this stuff, it's infectious. from one storytelling nerd to another you never miss, this shit feeds me. with a side of mud
I can't believe that in a Bossfights video Metal Gear Rising Revengeance got mentioned barely just for the dialogue and not for the amazing music that serves as explaining further the bosses motivations and dinamics
Honestly I'd love an entire video about video game music in general, you definitely nailed that topic in this video (and every other topic in the video, but I think there's a lot more video game music to talk about)
I know it was briefly mentioned in this video but god ULTRAKILL pretty consistently knocks every single thing on this list out of the park. Through every section I was thinking of a boss in that game that perfectly fit the description. Great video, great game.
This video is truly like a movie!! Each portion of it had its own story arc and the way you described everything was so good! I also really like the guest appearances talking about their own favorite games, that was a very cool thing to add into the video!
holy shit you really cooked. one of the best video essays i've ever seen, kept me engaged all the way. hope this one gets recommended to many people because you deserve it
The scenery in Radahns boss fight in Elden ring was just the best ive seen since i played ghost of Tsushima with its final boss. Its my absolute favorite boss fight
This is my favorite bizlychannel video so far, it’s king but consistently interesting with a lot of cool collars, great editing and really funny. 👍🏻 this channels content never disappoints
while it does sound cheesy, the whole "beating adversity irl by seeing it as a boss fight"-thing is super wholesome. that is so great. by the power of vibdeo gaems!
Holy shit no way. Btw this is my favorite vid of yours by far, but my second favorite might be this one ua-cam.com/video/VZrDxD0Za9I/v-deo.html@@bizlychannelYT
Oh yeah, the Devola and Popola fight hit me rediculously hard. It may have been partly because I had a five year engagment that was ended around the same time I beat Neir: Replicant. But it was also all of the build up with the story and lore. Finishing that game wrecked me emotionally for multiple reasons, but it holds a place in my heart nontheless.
A classic worth mentioning for music is Gwyn's theme from DS1. That sad piano does such an excellent job of setting the tone for the fight. You are fighting a shell of what Gwyn once was, a fragment of his former glory.
Yeah you really go in expecting the most vile powerful god only to realize that gwyn died long ago and all that's left is an empty husk. It's a really interesting parallel to king allant where you fight his all powerful version before seeing what he has become but with gwyn its like an in between of the two
Bro this is genuinely my favourite UA-cam channel, alongside Hivemind. I have no shadow of a doubt that you will blow up and have something special if you keep up with content this entertaining. But regardless of that please do keep creating these bangers 🙏🏻
After learning all the lore, the hollow knight is one of the most heartbreaking and painful fights I've ever experienced. With his dream nail dialogue showing that it's not in fact a perfect hollow vessel, the leitmotifs and the palpable desperation in its attacks and theme leave you with a hole in your soul.
One hell of a video, and the boss that stuck with me over the years was definitely the end of earthbound. It's just a lot for tiny little me to comprehend, and definitely fostered my love for compelling storytelling ever since I played it with my dad. Love you dad.
Im not sure if you can exactly call it a boss fight, but the end credits for nier automata (ending e) is by far my favorite moment in all of gaming. Literally perfect
I’d say for me the boss that covers all of the criteria that Bizly has talked about for what makes a great boss fight, would be Gael from Dark Souls 3 in the Ringed city DLC. Where to start? Well, the boss was a surprise since Gael put us on the journey of burning the painting in Ariendel, to guiding us through the ringed city. The dialogue just makes feel both baffled and sad for when he states “for my lady’s painting”. The music slaps with it starting out with this slow somber chorus and dramatic intrumentals then the music goes crazy when he goes into his phase 2 and even more so in phase 3. His design is memorable of a wild dog eating anything and everything that it can, before getting up on 2 legs to fight you hollow to man. The setting is so gorgeous and tragic, and if you know the context of this fight prior and after. You find out that Gael has been around since the beginning, since the first wars against the dragons! And when faced with the furtive pigmy’s that he ate them because their blood has dried up, and he fully knew that he would loose his mind in the process! And having that small glimmer of hope that you might still be out there unkindled ash, who can handle the power of the dark soul, to give to the little girl who is painting the new world which can be named after you or Ash. Overall Dark Souls 3 has the best boss I have ever faced in my entire time on this earth playing video games!
Hollow knight/radiance boss fight is waaay too amazing. The 3 phases, the story implication, the surprise, the way the boss is fighting the second boss within itself. My favorite part is in such a dark game, and where the radiance is describe as an unbearable light, having the radiance loading screen be a flash of bright white was chilling
The Splatoon endboss fights have definitely made their way into my mind and heart. Its just so fun, ive beaten them multiple times and it doesnt get boring. The music, the story, the stages its all such an amazing colorful mix
A new one that will stick in my mind for a long time is ffxvi fight against bahamut. The tension that is built up in the cutscenes to seeing the destruction unfold and then flashbacks to the reaction bahamut’s dominant had to these events were just phenomenal
Without exaggeration, the literal second that Hopes and Dreams started playing I began to tear up and I had to pause the video for a minute to regather myself. There is not a single song on this planet that is more uplifting than this one
A way out was such a good game! I played it with my dad and when we got to that last fight we just looked like each other like "no...". It was such a memorable moment!
The absolute best case of “THERES A SECOND PHASE???” Belongs to Hades It’s a rogue like where you escape hell, and the final boss is Hades himself (who’s your dad), the first time I actually reached him (you have to restart after every death) I absolutely wrecked him…and then he stood up Yeah it took me another 7 attempts before I beat him, the best part? There’s a challenge box you unlock after beating him for the first time with lots of stuff, one of them changes every single boss fight throughout the game so they’re ALL way harder…Hades gets a phase 3
This was amazing! I love when content creators pour gallons of passion into videos like this. Theory: eating mud makes you a more powerful youtuber. Also, I think some of my favorite boss fights would have to be from Hollow Knight or Castlevania: Circle of the Moon : ) .
One of my favorite examples of surprise in a boss fight was on the Easter egg for Mob Of The Dead, where after surviving with your buddy's for potentially hours, and then having to fight 3 on 1 at the end was so cool

The mantis lords from hollow knight will always be a favourite for me. Music, lore, the reward, the flow of the fight, all fantastic
i think youd enjoy the sisters of battle fight
I love the mantis lords! I was stuck on them for a while (cause im shit at games) but theyre such a rewarding fight. once you figure out their attack patterns you can get them down easily but I dont think them not being the hardest takes away from it at all
The whole time i was thinking abt hollow knight gameplay, good to know i am not alone lol
I mean like, NGK
Glad this is in universal agreement. Still shocked how everyone just so happened to be talking about hollow knight the moment I picked it up 2 years ago.
I know this one's a given but Absolute Radiance from hollow knight. Just everything that led up to that point + your original background. Just chef's kiss.
The final boss fight of Omori is something that I was not prepared for at all. That shit destroyed, put me back together and then did it again. the symbolism in physically fighting the past version of yourself to move on is something that will forever stick with me.
Yeah i agree,
Omori did not do that for me sadly I’m glad the boss was cool for you
same I typically am not that huge a fan of turn based combat but everything about that fight was so perfectly set up and executed
ye the story of it was amazinh but the actual gameplay was meh
The editing put into this is phenomenal and so entertaining Bizly my guy you are doing a great job
Saturn this shit would not be the same without the title screen bro I’m so glad you did it based on your own favorite boss. We will do this again :)
Which part did you do exactly?
@@overnightavenger1470 I'm the artist for the title card at 1:36
Oh awesome
How did he find you to design that, or are you guys friends ?
@@bizlychannelYT appreciate YOU!!! who cares if ur not a video game genius, you’re passion driven and i respect that a lot.

I had never heard any of these songs before and truly I am in awe of just how good the music is and how well the motifs work together ❤️
I'm so happy I watch Bizly, the editing is genuinely some of the best on UA-cam. Not only that but the way he plays/runs ttrpgs is some of the best shizz ever, Rand is art
For the narrative the one that resonated with me the most is Sif's fight in DS/DSR the way the fight makes you feel like the bad guy at the half way point when you realize he just trying to protect his owner's grave hits different and had me shedding a tear
sif after dlc
As someone who loves the idea of content creation and expressing your feelings toward niche things, I genuinely think you have an amazing channel. The amount of work in your scripts and editing is awesome and it makes me think that anyone (including me) can just talk about the things they love in confidence and have doing it.
Just talking about shit you love is the best way to do it. GO FOR IT!!!
Bro my heart
I disagree, the story for the first game sets up the emotional payoff for the 2nd game to be even better.
Appreciate it!!! Glad the love comes across in the video.
I gotta say, Ludwig’s battle from Bloodborne really hits all of these marks. It’s one of the most absolutely mine blowing battles of any video game
I don’t think anything will ever match that…
HAVENT MADE IT TO THE FINAL BOSS YET IM WORKING UP TO IT
I couldn't agree more with soul of cinder and I think its incredible that the second phase was a showdown with basically the first boss from dark souls 1. I think its the best "final boss" because it gave alot of the topics Bizly touched on and cranked them up
@@bizlychannelYTI don’t know where you are in the game, but buy the dlcs if you haven’t the bosses are amazing
@@bizlychannelYT Weird that you included some of the best bosses in gaming in this video when you HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED THEM. Go push yourself and experience dark souls 3. Also... like others have said you gotta go grab those dlcs
Ds3 is brilliant. Not really ‘very close to perfect’ tho
17:47 love the Slimecicle minecraft cursed mod video reference! Your videos lately are amazing, keep up the good work man!
WE LOVE A GOOD REFERENCE
the boss fight for me is 100% the final fight in little nightmares II.
It wasn't neccessarily difficult, but the way the story ties up at that moment and the magnitude of the final moments really made the game feel amazing
been seeing a lot of comments about this one
I died like 9 times which i entirely didnt expect from a nintendo game
Absolutely. All the phases were exhilarating and very well presented, I'll never forget it.
Boss fight i love is Ending E in Nier Automata, the music, how you basically kill God, how you have to get help near the end. Its beautiful

15:00 I've never heard of the game, but it still gave me chills after chills. Just wow.
Bebo has been on a streak of crazy good videos and this is no exception.
Music is some powerful shit man
I am glad you briefly touched on the more deeper messages or the things people feel and get out of the souls games. They are so much more than just "Hehehe hard game" "Git gud". And while the memes are funny, they actually do it a huge disservice.
I tried DS3 PvP for the first time ever (never intentionally invaded, but I want to 100% the game and farming covenant items is miserable)
It is the most broken and toxic online gaming I've had in a looooong time, reminds me of laggy people in CoD in 2010.
Nightmare King Grimm from hollow knight hands down my most favorite boss out of any game his boss fight feels like a dance and I love it
Fatalis from Monster Hunter: World has to be one of my favorite boss fights of all time, and after watching this video I feel like he hits just about all of the elements mentioned.
And the music…
Fatalis’s introduction and his first phase evoke a feeling of pure terror, choirs calling out in horror at the hellish power of Fatalis, the destruction he has caused, and the many lives he has ended.
But the main theme
Of the very
First
Monster Hunter.
And when you finally beat him, and that special rendition of the quest complete _finally_ announces your victory…
My God. What an amazing fucking boss.
I got a heart from bizlychannel himself and then I edited my comment and it went away.
It’s so over…
And the fact his quest is called "Fade to Black", being the final quest in the entire game... the devs went all-out to give us such an epic finale.
You and the team clearly work hard on these videos and they always come out so well! Love seeing a new bebo upload
I can see he’s definitely embracing that side of his content creation more and I think it’s only going to get better-
Keep it up, bizly!
One of the most well edited, polished, presented, & thought out channels I've seen in awhile. So happy about this channel, amazing work Bizly!!
Freakin’ genius writing, it’s stuck with me to this day
My favorite channel ever recommended by the algorithm. The collabs in here are just flawless. Keep that good stuff comin!

Oh yeah, the Devola and Popola fight hit me rediculously hard. It may have been partly because I had a five year engagment that was ended around the same time I beat Neir: Replicant. But it was also all of the build up with the story and lore. Finishing that game wrecked me emotionally for multiple reasons, but it holds a place in my heart nontheless.
this is such a good video, the amount of good examples as well as the insanely good cameos. Very impressed bro 👍
Bizly saying "fighting a god" and showing the god room from the Minecraft video so many years ago was awesome.
Your channel is awesome, glad I get to be here for the beginning of what will inevitably be a big deal. Keep killing it 🤙🏼

I know other people have said it but your editing is insane, I don’t have a clue how you have the time/skill/energy to do it but fair play man 🫡
A classic worth mentioning for music is Gwyn's theme from DS1. That sad piano does such an excellent job of setting the tone for the fight. You are fighting a shell of what Gwyn once was, a fragment of his former glory.
Yeah you really go in expecting the most vile powerful god only to realize that gwyn died long ago and all that's left is an empty husk. It's a really interesting parallel to king allant where you fight his all powerful version before seeing what he has become but with gwyn its like an in between of the two
Plin plin plon
Bro this is genuinely my favourite UA-cam channel, alongside Hivemind.
I have no shadow of a doubt that you will blow up and have something special if you keep up with content this entertaining. But regardless of that please do keep creating these bangers 🙏🏻
Another channel very similar to this one is Nakeyjakey, he's a UA-cam GOAT as well
After learning all the lore, the hollow knight is one of the most heartbreaking and painful fights I've ever experienced.
+ I love how grimms fight actually feels like a dance
The soul of cinder has an incredible theme. A great sense of finality

Markoth: "Allow me to introduce myself"
I’ve waited so long for this. Finally, I’ve come to realize the true meaning of art.
A way out was such a good game! I played it with my dad and when we got to that last fight we just looked like each other like "no...". It was such a memorable moment!
The absolute best case of “THERES A SECOND PHASE???” Belongs to Hades
It’s a rogue like where you escape hell, and the final boss is Hades himself (who’s your dad), the first time I actually reached him (you have to restart after every death) I absolutely wrecked him…and then he stood up
Yeah it took me another 7 attempts before I beat him, the best part? There’s a challenge box you unlock after beating him for the first time with lots of stuff, one of them changes every single boss fight throughout the game so they’re ALL way harder…Hades gets a phase 3
this video is amazing! I absolutely love how you put yourself in the game worlds.
