Graham, your vlogs have the feel of someone who has been vlogging for years. I mean I know you have been in video production for a long time, but I feel that vlogs are different enough that it's not an automatic transition, and I think you have made this transition quite well!
Loving the walk up shots, because I get a chuckle knowing you had to set up the camera first, walk away, then come back. That's dedication and good direction. loving the glogs (graham vlogs)

That Graham can compose this as well as he is, conceptualize it as he is going about his day, AND actually takes the time to piece it together at the end of the night...boundless respect to his work ethic and dedication! Also, I'm surprised how entertaining it is to see him just VLOG!
An interesting note; the gentleman two seats to Graham’s right when the pools were being passed out is Openboosters from YT. My friends were all super jealous I had met him (they’re all Legacy/Vintage/Commander players) & until Rudy’s videos from this event, he had never shown his face on camera before. (I was in the GameStop exclusive green & black Injustice 2 ESport jersey.)
There were fewer people in the VIP play area shown in the video & most there knew Graham so it wasn’t as bad as doing that in the general player area, but point well taken.
I started watching LRR back in 2008 with the Daily Drop series on the Escapist. I always loved your comedic timing, and this is wonderful example of it. You manage to make something with as many highs, lows and incredible tedium as a convention with eight (choke... eight omg) rounds of magic seem like a light afternoon with friends and fun. While it's true that all of LRR brings creativity and laughter into the banality of my work week; your professionalism and personality are one of the main reasons I continue to watch. Please continue these Vlogs, I really love them.
That clip of your high frame rate time-lapse was way too funny to me. The best part about these vlogs is that it's enjoyable for someone like me who isn't all that into MTG. Keep it up, Graham!

Hey I'm in this video!! I didn't even realize that the vlog camera was recording!! I'm not complaining I'm just surprised!! I'm super happy and excited that I made it into one of these!! Also question since you guys have been in videos for a long time I'm sure you guys have heard recordings of yourself 1000 times over so is it just me or does everyone think they sound weird when recorded?
What was so great about being Diamond VIP for these GP’s was you never left the play section shown in the video, it was hella more spacious compared to the rest of the GP, & your opponents always had to come to you.
Also I am in the video 2 seats down from Graham when he is sitting down to build on the opposite side in the green Injustice GS exclusive esports jersey. I am also in the background when Marshall is asking people what they think the proper pronounciation of jitte is.
Yeah, it's important to remember there are assholes in any community. But also remember that the GP floor is open to anyone. The fact that decks of trading cards can be valuable isn't exactly a secret either.

The first or second day of playing EDH at the GP we met this super nice guy from Brazil who had the sickest Sidisi deck. It was foiled out, he was running some CE Dual Lands (Keeping his real ones in a different deck) and had at least five GORGEOUS custom alters on The Commander and other cards. The last day of the GP I played with some other guys who met him and it turned out someone stole that deck, worst news I had heard all week.

While I don't actually play Magic, I know I always have a knack of somehow pulling byes. (The chance increasing the further I had to travel for the event.) Which sucks, due to living in the middle of nowhere I don't get to actually play games in the flesh that often. Don't care about "winning" or "making the cut", let me play the dang game.
HighHammerNoob No problem, day 1 is when everyone who paid the tournament entry fee participate. If you are good enough, you get to participate in day 2 events. Otherwise, there are still other events going on, but your tournament is officially over. ^_^
HighHammerNoob Oh that's too bad, Magic is a great game! Same here, about 30 mins car ride from nearest Card Shop. Always wanted to start my own... who knows, maybe one day... ;-)
Lol, I once went 4-5 in a 9 round event, having only won 4 GAMES of magic. 2 opponents didn't show up, one had to drop and conceded the match, and I won round 8.

The thought of you setting up all your filming gear in a public place and walking away from it for the shot is really nerve wracking for me.

HighHammerNoob Oh yeah, lots to do. The bigger the Grand Prix, the best are your chances to play other formats. But draft and Commander are the norm.
