Abdul Karim Kamara Jr., professionally known as Hyven Snt (pronounced "Heaven Sent"), is a Sierra Leonean singer, songwriter, actor, and music producer, born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He was born on September 19, 1993, in the western rural areas of Dwarzark in Freetown. He started singing at an early age and began writing his own songs at the age of 15. Around the age of 20, he started recording music, but it wasn't until five years later that he turned professional due to focusing on his education during that period.
In 2018, he was discovered by a famous Nigerian producer based in Freetown, "Tunexbeatz." He then wrote a couple of songs that were produced by Tunex. His first single, "Are Sabi Dae," is a Sierra Leone traditional RnB classic that was well-received, and his second single, "Wankanda Love," a fusion of Sierra Leone traditional RnB and Dancehall, earned him nominations for major awards and appearances at national Stadium in Freetown, gaining him national recognition in the entertainment industry.
Due to personal reasons, he took a long break from 2020 to 2024. Now in 2024, he is making a comeback with his first single, "CRY," a traditional RnB Afro depression sound produced by Joshbeatz. He is also set to release an album later this year along with surprise collaborations. Stay tuned for more updates
