I got about 100 lights from China as an alternative to fluorescent lights for my medical clinic, they actually fit into the same receptacles. I had a TBI about 20 years prior. It’s about 40 years now and the fluorescent lights don’t bother me near as much but I think it’s because I did so much to protect my brain from flickering lights. Sunlight bothered me a bit in that I was a bit sensitive and night time driving was never an issue. Of course there were many other issues that were much more problematic but I used a lot of alternative methods to move myself beyond all limitations. I am cognitively, emotionally, and overall better off but I certainly wouldn’t wish my TBI on anyone!

So true, I had a horrible time after my TBI and I still avoid large stores I feel stuck in Like Costco or Walmart. Thank you for your videos, they've helped me so much!

i went into a convience store and immediately felt drunk; dizzy, nauseous, i was stumbling as i walked -- was only there 5mins but felt aweful for another 45mins.
i had a head injury over a month ago and while im not so light sensitive now i still get migraines and feel dizzy most days.
Worst is the memory loss -- TBIs are terrible would not wish it on anyone ever.

Exhausted after I shopped for years and avoided it like the Plague! Now I totally get it..in a scientific way. Thank you so much ❤️

If the flicker of flourescent lights can so adversely affect the brain wave patterns of those with a TBI, what is it doing to the rest of the population???

As these 2 said in the video, the uninjured brain overcomes it and basically it doesn’t actually register as a disruption.

Odd. I hate Walmart and those stores from my anxiety and so on from the issues I have from either mental illnesses or my multiple TBIs which is something almost impossible to figure out living in rural areas and not lots of money to spend for more updated professionals for some real answers or even a damn referral for some testing rather then try this new $1900 a month medication we have samples of until we get the new batch of meds to push or I just end up cold turkey off them after the samples which really helps me feel less like the person I once was every single time and wondering what normal is between meds and my brain probably showing more long term effects the more I age since my last injury and scan showed encephalomalacia which is a shitty ass word to try and remember to spell while dealing with memory issues from my head or the meds? Probably both. Sorry I got sidetracked out of frustration from this hidden pandemic of mental illness/brain trauma/drug addiction that is making so many rich, millions other suffer, and is so out of control that I heard cancer is getting worried about this issue and losing some of its power lol.... My initial point and why I said odd is because I was given this super powerful flashlight that has a strobe feature and when I turned it on in a dark room I think I felt a true mild euphoric feeling almost. Not in the drug sense. I did feel a sense of calm that I’m unable to feel almost ever. With some music, that light, and light working out has became like a form of meditation that clears my mind in a way I’ve never been able to achieve. I’m sure scientifically there is a reason since fluorescent lights are obviously different. But I like to tell others struggling about anything that helps me in hopes that I can help anyone to never have to deal with issues I’ve been dealing with. But ask your dr first since I’m not sure about the risk of a seizure due to strobe lights and being at high risk already to have them in many cases. Idk if it’s a risk at all or a myth I’ve heard over the years. Just want everyone to be safe and not take me to court for my $78 life savings. Lol
