Watched the wonderful BBC documentary about Holley and the walruses. I hope the pregnancies were successful and new babies were born healthy!
How nice! Tulip almost went and said hi to Stormy! And with a table she doesn't have to stick her nose in the bowl and we get a good look at her cute face and adorable little paws. (When she holds your arm with those paws I turn to mush!) It was also lovely to see sweet Stormy out and about at her nightly labors. Thank you!

The way Tulip holds on to you when you scratch her back and head is so touching. Her coat has healed so much compared to the state she was in when you were first looking after her - who can forget the onesie? But I can't help wishing it were safe for beavers to be completely free and building dams as its their nature to do. There's an experiment in England now where beavers have been reintroduced and are happily breeding and improving waterways.

Did everyone see the story from the Czech Republic about the beavers? There was damage to a draining system and the government had been planning repairs for 7 years! Well, the beavers took matters into their own paws, and fixed it themselves in two days. They built 8 little dams exactly where the government intended to make the repairs, saving them $1.2 million in US dollars.

Tulip seems to enjoy having the table, but I know she enjoys her petting time. Such an affectionate beaver. Stormy Rose is looking very filled out these days. A far cry from her early days of looking so skinny. Glad she is thriving.

Does Tulip say Grace before eating, and brush and floss after!?!! 🥰 Note: our son is a dentist and he recommends waiting 20 minutes after eating before brushing, which reduces the acidic level in your mouth.

Got to take closeup photos of Baby Gator at the retention pond nearest our home this afternoon while out walking the Wooster. What is interesting is that yesterday three local teens were fishing at this pond, right next to the sign "Danger: Alligator and Snakes..." And this is the same pond where last week the eyes of the presumable parent gator were peering.
P.S. Going to try out my new camera with 6 digital zoom by taking pictures of Frankie, our local HOA "friendly" full size gator by his usual retention pond a few blocks away. Need a volunteer to issue a summons to Frankie for not paying his fair share of HOA dues... 🥰

Did anyone explain to Tulip that there are a variety of mixed drinks that can be made with kiwis? For example, there is the Green Goddess Kiwi Cocktail, the Kiwi Kiss Cocktail and of course the Kiwi Lime Julep, which as you know all should be shaken and not stirred. Dr. Muraco was remiss in not thinking of offering these to Poor Tulip, instead of just plain kiwi... 🥰
