Getting "Value 'lightningCommunity__Theme_Layout' is not in the enumeration list. " error in {name}.js-meta.xml file. Metadata API i is already enabled in the Digital Experience setting. Can you suggest a solution to this issue?
Not sure how to completely follow this. We are all clear on what code is written, but how are we putting this in the community ? How do you remove the standard theme layout to be replaced by this custom ?
I am new, but overriding a template. You go the the page properties in the upper left top banner, select your page, click the gear icon and you can working the page layout. This is not the same as the component layout. Let's say you want to go from 1-column to 3-column. Hope this helps.
Sadly, this demo does not work. Come on Salesforce you can do better than making a video that doesn't work :( I have tried to add custom layout, it's just not possible with LWR. Has anyone added a custom layout for the entire site in LWR?
Can you explain from scratch to publishing. I have good knowledge on LWC but with this explanation, I am confused on how to build the site where to drag and drop... A simple example will be helpful...
You cannot add a to an LWC that already exists on a layout, you must delete and re add the component through the builder before the region will become available for drag/drop. I cannot even begin to express how infuriating it is that neither this series or the official documentation makes any mention of this fact....
Great information, I know about the custom layouts you can create with aura or lwc, but never had the time to experiment with them, I thinks this video fill the ifnormation gap and put us ahead of what we should do to start playing with this.

maybe you found out already, but this only works in a LWR Theme (in beta). I could not make it work with a custom or standard theme.
