Two problems. The level 2 chargers are mostly useless when travelling they take hours at 7 kw/h, and there are very few DC Fast Chargers, and most of those are only capable of charging perhaps 2 cars at a time and only at 50 kw/h. So If I want to drive from Fredericton after charging at home to Campbelton, there are about 3 charging opportunities for DC fast charging. What if those are occupied? This 65 km distance average is very misleading.
This is great and all, but when I called my Honda dealerships in Woodstock and Maine asking about the Insight, they have NONE in the Maritimes or Maine to test drive. Please start pressuring the dealers to stock these vehicles. I've tried on my end and their response is "no one's buying electric vehicles in NB".
