Right??! I’m also surprised, but I’m just grateful they keep on making music! They are humble and live for the fans no matter how small or great the audience.
Most of the emo kids who were into Silverstein searched for heavier stuff an moved onto that stuff or just grey out of the music...myspace also died.. Still some goldie oldies from earlier albums.
@@nappyslipper7789 im 31 and finally got to see them live last year. it was fucking awesome hearing my heroine live. they ended with afterglow and everybody in that venue was jumping. these guys still go hard !
Silverstein is the best band of this genre, at least for me, their songs are so introspective and somehow always find a way to give me goosebumps, I have been a fan since 2009 and on each album there is always one that brings me to tears.
The verses sound like they are from Misery Made Me, the chorus' sound like they afe from Dead Reflection, and the bridge sounds like it's from This is How the Wind Shifts. You guys managed to take the best parts of the past decade you have created them and merged them into 1 masterpiece of a track
I've almost drop a tear, that's a song from Silverestein I've been waited since Dead Reflection album. Maybe it's not 100% sound of old Silverstein but this song is a good sign :) for the rest of album. Anyway I love chorus in that song, bridge is also great, it showed me for what I loved Silverstein. Thank You Shane and rest of band, finally I can say again, I love your new song for 100%. It took so long but it was worthed to wait :). P.S Lyrics are great here, and almost everyone can relate to it. Over the month ago my girlfriend's sister lost her boyfriend in tragic accident and her daughter lost father, his life has gone in seconds..., and this situation could be easy avoided. So yeah songs like this have added value and deeper meaning.
my wife finally got me to a concert last year with amity affliction. i cant tell you how awesome it was to sing along to my heroine like i did when i was 13. so glad they are still dropping music even though im 31 now.
Got A shipwreck in the sand and Discovering the waterfront tattooed on me, if the rest or this album is like ima get this 1 too! Bringing it back to the classic
Been jamming Misery made me for the last two months on repeat, so this is the most perfect timing for a new single to feed my Silverstein obsession even more
Actually. Before I knew what the song was about. The lyrics already connected to my soul. I've lost my mom this year. I can't expound the loss I feel. I felt like I lost a huge part of myself. But life moves on
You're my favorite band of all time for always blowing my speakers out! All of us Silverstein fans know, you'll never disappoint or stop making beautiful music. Thank you for getting me through my solo-teen-youth emo years....to now my adult-dad-emo-30-ish years! (super excited for the next album
My favorite band ever, I love Silverstein with my whole heart. Also I loved the Discovering The Waterfront call back at the lyrics "the ides of march just another sign". And I had a feeling that background type of vocals at the second verse are directly inspired in A Shipwreck In The Sand, specially in the self titled song. And the guitars are a sign of "I will ilumminate" of This Is How The Wind Shifts, no doubt about it for me. Amazing as always, specially the catchy choruses. ❤
First band I ever saw live in 2023. Been listening since 2011. Still a great band that produces great and meaningful lyrics. Silverstein just has something that hits different. Meaningful words and sentimental melody. It’s just pure art. Thanks for this new single.
i live near these guys. ran into paul at a local bake shop. told him he’s a hometown hero to me as a drummer of 19 years his band was my first introduction to this type of music
i havent listened to these guys in like 15 years. how do they still pretty much still sound the same? discovering the waterfront is still one of my favorite albums
Sorry for your loss. Having music to outlet such emotions is a great thing. There is no fundamental way to grieve that has a step by step manual, and music transcends words alone. Thanks for the banger, excited for new album its more like this!
after not listening to silverstein for some time today in the car i listened to a lot of songs by them and now i see this dropped after arriving home this new song is really good im adding it to my playlist for sure ❤🔥
My only complaint is that this didnt come out sooner. I have to listen to this as a 31 year old man. instead of a 16 year old boy excited to go see silverstein at warped tour for the first time.
Been listening since I was 12 years old, I’ll be 30 next year. 😭 I love y’all so much. 🥹 Only band I can listen to on repeat & never get tired of. Your music is always a banger - both the old & the new. Sending lots of love from Florida 🫶🏼🖤
One band that continued to produce songs that aren't just musical masterpieces but lyrically just as great! Always seem to hit at the right time for me!
you see how Silverstein always stays true to their sound while simultaneously pushes the creative boundaries to give us new bangers? very demure, very mindful ✨
Saw you live in 2007 in Germany. One of the best concerts till today. Have seen you again a few years ago. You made me love Post-Hardcore and helped me to get over dark moments in my life. ❤️
You made me cry with the lyrics. I am near to my birthday 30th, and silverstein has been part of my life since 2006 when my age was appropiate to discern in music genres. Thank you silverstein, I lost my father in the 2009, also like Shane this song means much to me and now I got a New Song of my favorite band to remember my dad.
Ive been asking myself for almost 20 years. "How is Silverstein not so much bigger because they are incredible"
💯 NAILED IT!!!!!!
Right??! I’m also surprised, but I’m just grateful they keep on making music! They are humble and live for the fans no matter how small or great the audience.
Most of the emo kids who were into Silverstein searched for heavier stuff an moved onto that stuff or just grey out of the music...myspace also died..

Same
Because they're not too heavy or too poppy , they're in the middle
This is so good, 35 years old and i absolutely love when bands i grew up loving put new stuff out and it manages to take me back to simpler times
This is one that you gotta listen to on repeat cause it's so good
I feel this one bro I'm 34 and this takes me back so much
Yo guys! I'm 32 and totally feel with you! Wow so happy to see them back!
@@nappyslipper7789 im 31 and finally got to see them live last year. it was fucking awesome hearing my heroine live. they ended with afterglow and everybody in that venue was jumping. these guys still go hard !
Same 😊
"The Ides of March just another sign" - love a good callback
Ugh, so good!
Literally got the logo the did on redux for ides of march on my arm 😂 such a banger
@@Izzzzydorablethat’s dope:O I have the dead reflections rope since that was also the yr I finallyyyyy got to see Silverstein 😊
Yess so good!
I literally dropped my jaw when the chorus started, holy crap this song has old and new vibes to it that I'm so here for!!!
The kings of post hardcore are back!
They never left 😂
the emo kings
@@kitchen5087 they ALWAYS leave
Finally. ready for album 12
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, they’re the most consistent band of all time.
it’s silverstein season 🥹🔥
Last Days of Summer
Lyrics are the definition of growing and maturing, not only as a band, but as a person. Shane must have suffered so such, and learnt it a lot too.
Silverstein is the best band of this genre, at least for me, their songs are so introspective and somehow always find a way to give me goosebumps, I have been a fan since 2009 and on each album there is always one that brings me to tears.
One of the only bands that continue to get better 20+ years after debut. Lets goo
One of the most criminally underrated bands out there.
Honestly, Silverstein age like the finest of wines 👌🏼👏🏼
The nod to Lord of The Rings is amazing, wow, just speechless guys
Just when i thought i couldn't fall further in love...
That's because who he wrote the song about was obsessed with Lord of the Rings
Silverstein's whole discography can be summed up as "no skips." What other band could we honestly say that about?
Amity & Real Friends do pretty well at this, as well. Hot Mully.
Legit couldn’t agree more.
Silverstein & Bayside 🤩

That's exactly how it sounds! Three of their best albums, so hyped for this next one
If the rest of the album is like this I'm in.
Favourite band since I was a teen. Damn, they keep on delivering. Never leave, Silverstein!

Love the LOTR reference!!
A band for over 20 years and still knows how to crush it. Can't wait to add this one to my vinyl collection
Shane bringin back that 90s hairstyle!! I love it!
it's absolutely amazing how Silverstein maintain their mastery and productivity. I am totaly lucky what can see at progress and enjoy every song
As someone who found Silverstein a year ago im so thankful that I did, they are super underrated
This song made me cry it had me think of my family members that passed away but mostly my grandma because it was the most relatable
Jesus this mix is so good. Whoever was in this production killed it.

Still listening to every Silversteinsong since 2007.🖤 Forever and for always.

Misery Made Me is the greatest album ever released, I swear.
feels like many bands get worse as they age, but I'm so happy these guys are an exception to that. no doubt this next record is gonna rip 🩵
'Stein never lets us down. Gonna have this chorus in my head for days.
